The water is purified and has a few additives such as magnesium sulfate, potassium chloride, and trace amounts of sodium minerals. The pH detect whether there is "alkaline " which is better for you ,or "acidic" which is obviously worse for you. The ph of pure water is 7. In general, water with a ph lower than 7 is considered acidic,
