Kizomba that looked like it was combined with something else even if it was just a little bit. Finally i found this vid. It breaks it all down...Now it's time to learn.

Sweet Baby Jesus! This video is the one. Praise the Lord. I recently went to a Kizomba class in Dublin, Ireland and got HUMBLED. To make matters worse I'm originally from a country where Kizomba/pasada is very prominent, I just never took the time to learn it. Maybe it is because it was my first lesson; but I felt like the instructor was showing us certain steps whilst "teaching" and then doing a completely different complex dance when demonstrating with her partner. This made it difficult for me to latch onto anything. It felt like she was flexing on us, not actually teaching us. This video was fun yet understandable, I can't wait to implement these steps at my next class. God Bless you #Kizombeiro

I find that Kizomba is very similar to Kompa, which I've been dancing all my life. I've done some of these dances being creative, before I ever heard of Kizomba! I should be able to pick this up in no time! You're a great teacher!❤️
Interesting! If you watch my video called "What is Kizomba", you'll see that Konpa has influenced Kizomba music. Maybe that's where the similarity comes from. :) Glad you liked the tutorial!
My wife and I learnt slasa and a bit of Bachata. This tutorial is really good and I learnt the basic steps of Kizomba. Hopefully we'll get to dance the Kizomba more . Thank you.

Great question Anastasie! The partner who follows knows to switch to a different step because of the intention and the leading techniques the person who leads uses to communicate the change. That alone could be a great video idea hehe 😀

It really depends on how much time and efforts you’re willing to put in. The truth is that we’re always learning and getting better so there’s always something to work on. I did not grow up with kizomba. But even if I’ve been dancing for a while now, I’m always revisiting the basics to get better.
Some are, and other aren’t. If you want to do this tutorial as a lead, you have to start with your left leg. And you go forward on the basic 3. Hope that helps 😊
