@@MoreThanFishing came to take the test and brought pencils without lead🤭

Good Job. I like the ID pop ups on the fish ID.

“This is it! This is it guys! This is a ling! Oh it’s a big one! That’s what I’m talking about! Here we go! It’s a --- oh wait, it’s another ...”. Gotta love Jun! 💖
Alright Jun, it's time to test your luck with me
Lol the same thing they said before and they all failed. I’m starting to believe it’s not the person who brought me to catch Ling, It’s me, I suck at it hahaha
Hey I love the identification windows of the fish you are catching, I am watching from Australia so it is great to lean about species that we do not have down here.
great video
Hey found your channel through a Fisherman’s Life Colab! Love your Energy & videos bro! Fish On!
Great vid but also remember, those bigger bracket fish are the ones producing all the eggs and spawn. It's always good to release what you know you won't be able to consume.
Daang Jun! You're crushing the cabs then BOOM! Nice job!
Ooooh, it's a lingcod!!! Oh wait it's just a 4" rockfish. LOL, gotta love the enthusiasm. I think it was more of a trick to get the big cabbies.
Dude! Love the species pop ups. Your vids just keep getting bettee!
Good fishing, Jun! For those of you wondering the CA State record is 23lbs 4oz. Still, 8lbs is a great eating size Cabezon. Tight Lines and we’ll see you on the water!
That device you guys use to hold your fish is awesome! We could never get away with that down here in Florida. Great catches too love the informational bits for us that are from out other regions. Tight lines brother!
I’ve been enjoying all your guy’s videos Pare, Ish, Matt’s. Keep up the fun videos. Always love your apprehensive enthusiasm.
Thanks 🙏
Haven't tuned in to your channel for awhile. Glad you got into kayak fishing too
You are so funny Jun. I am always happy to watch your video. Very nice cabazon Jun. Try to catch a croaker, or jacksmelt and you will hook up on a big ling. I caught a 27 pounds 14 oz. Ling last week on croaker. You can check it out. Awesome video. Good luck with the first long on your next trip.
Nice video bro!! Definitely got me pumped listening to you get stoked
It’s huge! Lol One day I will be seeing you there sir jun!
Very exciting video! The fish species info pop ups are perfect! I thought you had one man! Dang! You guys need to make a joint trip to Alaska and catch some monster up there!
Also, I forgot to mention. I love the fact that you put the species of fish. That’s great.
jun ! i am screaming at my monitor . NET THE FISH, NET THE FISH!!!!!!! LOL i was afraid you would lose that monster cab. lose the cheap reel.
Need to fish deeper at 90-120 ft. because 30 ft is the habitat for cabezon and china cod. Plus it’s best to use a swim bait or live bait like king fish, sand dab, or mackerel.
June, if you want a guaranteed lingcod use a hookup bait. I use them all the time for yellowtail and monster lings. Look up hookupbaits and you’ll find their website.
Great action bro! Love all your educational pop-ups with the different species of fish. You should of brought an underwater camera to take a look of the structure on the ocean floor. #tightlines
I’ll next time
You and Matt make the best videos
Thanks for the video! Keep em coming!
Having great friends is awesome. Love how everyone is helping u get ur keeper.
Also love how that chepo real is ur go to big fish setup. Goes to show wala sa pana yan nasa gumagamit
Sweet catches! Thank you for sharing!
I caught a 21" cabbie a few days ago ... right at my feet!
Great vid very fun to watch!😂 I would suggest a big swim bait with octopus gel on it or a live sand dab then you would hook up. The best thing is keep trying!😄🤣👍👍🐟
Awesome fishing and video!
I like the edit man. Showing the fish photo and info. Pretty cool. You'll be back with a barbed hook next time! Let's go!!!!!
Nice catches! That’s also a notoriously sharky spot there, but huge rockfish there!
What kinds of sharks?
@@jeremymorrell4682 Whites
Keep Fish'N on Jun! You'll get it next trip!
Yoooo ! I’m a new subscriber man, keep killing it and do your thing ! Stay safe out there !
I love the excitement brother! A little off on the fish ID's but otherwise fun to watch vids. Like the chinas are actually gophers, also that brown was a grassy. Come join us next time, perhaps I might be able to put you on some lingcods. Keep up the enthusiasm I love it. Later Pinoy!!
Nice catch always love ❤️ your video bro!
i been waiting for this video ever since i saw your picture on ig...congrats kabayan jun...
Salamat
i love the vids kuya. keep em coming
Jun, Is your wife allergic to crab?? My wife became allergic to them several years ago, anything with Iodine in it. Her diet is very limiting and we have to watch it!
Today I made up several double hook Ling Cod leaders for the next time we go out on the party boat. They are for live bait and I use circle hooks.
I started using wire leader line too.
I really thought you finally got your Ling but you will. Those were some really good fish you got!!
Awesome video bro! You convinced me to subscribe.
Awesome video as always. Next time you target a species take the right tackle though!
I guess the adventure continues! Good luck sir!
Great Job brotha Keep at it!!!!!
Thanks bro
You’re almost there, try a swim bait with the barred hook.. or large lumps of baitfish. Great video, good fishing to you.
Good job buddy
Yo! I love your videos brother!!!! You enjoy your life, and fishing! You have inspired me to fish more. I have an amazing kayak made for small ocean water. I don’t use it enough.
I’m on the wa coast near Canada border.
You boys should make a trip up this way!!! I’d be down to do some fall kayak fishing. There are Some massive reservoirs up here that are filled with Cokenee.
I looked for striped bass for 2 years once.
Congrats on your catches! Keep chasing em
Ohhhhhh, this is it, this is it, wait, no, it's not it......lol You crack me up every time you get exited. Great job bro! Great videos too. I look forward to your videos am the time. I haven't given up on fishing like I told you a week or so ago. It is more than fishing. Thank you
From BATANGAS here bro,, ayus...
Same here! Alitagtag
June has that fish mania .nice june
Dude those are some big fish...🤙🏽😃
Fish on...
Thanks
You need more organization in your tackle preparations keep barbless in separate boxes from barbed rigs. Good haul beautiful cabazon hope the wife has no problems trying those. ATB Spam.
Nice job! I was out there yesterday. Used whole frozen squid and nailed a 28.5” ling.
Just a little advice when you hook up you panic. Try and take your time keep it tight and don't let it get slack also when you have the fish put it in the net so you don't lose it concentrate good luck be safe and God bless you and your family
Nice video 👍
My lucky lingcod lure is a green on top yellow in the middle and red bottom 6" big hammer swimbait. It never fails me i go out of fortbragg alot on my kayak. Try it out/and good luck. Really like watching ur videos
My last Video I caught my first Ling from shore, but it was short. Got a Cab though and fried it up KFC spices..
Nice great catch
Next time you catch a small rockfish send it back down as bait. That’s your ticket to a keeper Ling. Bring another rig for Live Bait.
Swim bait, irons and live bait all work well for lingcod. Make sure you're using barbed hooks! Good luck!
Nice cab, but gotta work on your rockfish ID. Lol
Lol you noticed
More Than Fishing blame Ish
Lol
Next time Jhun!
I think it’s the hat. Wear your gray one next time. Lingcod for sure.
Just on thing on 10:30 where you had clip the stringer. That looks like an open end clip. If you have more fish and weight on it, it's possible the fish will break open that clip. perhaps have the end of the clip twist and back like a hook, then it won't get pulled on and slip open. I had that one time when I was fishing for black bass. The black bass was strong enough to pull open the open end stringer and I had a empty stringer in the end.
Yes, you’re right it actually happened, i just got lucky to catch it
Everytime you think it's a lingcod, but it's just Yellow Thing..
Barbs!! Big sharp barbs!! Get Adam to take you back to the honey hole too, and use barbs!!!
Great fishing bro even though you didn’t get the Ling Cod. Those Cabezons were big. They’re as good as the Ling.
Lingcod is probably one of the best eating fish!
Absolutely! The Portuguese community have known that secret for a long time!
I’ve been hunting and fishing in these parts for years.
cabs love the really rocky area with high and low peaks
Maybe you should have used big swimbaits and Lingcod jigs, instead of lures predominantly used for Striped Bass. Big lures=big fish.
Atta boy! I watch all you guys!
Nice bro next time for sure stay safe out there
The biggest tip I can give you. Don't pull the fish's head out of the water. They start thrashing almost every time you do.
Nice 23 incher 💪🏻
You fish good you just panic 😜 when you hook a fish and you have to much drag open make it a little tighter and be easy on the hook up . Excellent video 👍📸 like always God bless you and your family and God bless all of you who are struggling and homeless like myself because of covid-19
Try big bait for big ling, live or frozen squid are good too. Lings will run again when they are close to the surface and you will fight it again until you feel super tried! Jun, have you catch that perch yet?
Nice catch tho kabayan..🤘🏼
LOL!! "Those newbs" rad comment!
Love it man! I wanna fish with the native northerners
Try casting it out and retrieve in. Cover more ground. Good luck! Great video!
Keep fishing my man. You will get better every time out. Just learn from your mistakes. The fish gods will bless you. Never give up
Make sure you bring the right hooks...routing for you.
ITS MORE THAN FISHING BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys should be a duel
Way to persist Jun! 🎣
Damn that buck tail on fire.
mark the spot on your fish finder
Small flounder are the best ling bait ever. I think I still have about 10lbs of ling in my freezer
Wow! Nice Cabezon!!
U seem to catch everything that’s swims. Maybe the Ling’s have heard about ya and they’re scared of ya brother 😁
What if a shark were to come up and grab one of those cabezon?
Was actually thinking the same thing that time, I load it up in my kayak right after the last fish
Two things you need.. BARB-ara and.. BUSH!
Gotta bring those barbs next time.
Lol love how this guy called fisherman's life a noob yet he didnt help you get a lingcod ..apoligize lmao great vids tho
Time to drop the mackerel with enough weight to hold it on the bottom and hang on. If using bars use assist hooks which go on the top ring vs the bottom. You will convert more strikes and save bucks not losing jigs to the rocks. On the 4 Cabezon wow!!! #4 looked legal to and you could give away . those cabezon were worth more than a plain ole ling Cabezon fillets are like $38lb a lb at the few places that have them legally.
Pare N Pare, maganda and Isda. Masarap kain yan.
I’m still hunting June
I thought you have a cast reel for off shore angling?
Lancer Jigs, made out of WA. 4 & 7 oz water dog/copper color, trust me man
Longer rubber jig, like 12 inches. Glow in the dark. Big lings eat big food.
