As a malaysian, i’m sorry for the bad experience, with this expensive prices u can get more modern apartment in kuala lumpur. this just looks over prices/worst for me, also very average looking apartment without balcony n dirties too. Just give the low rate for them. i’m agree with you both ❤
Sneezing means dusty. The host is not taking good care of the unit. 800 usd is high for that quality.
Metropolitan city what do you expect…dont be kedekut liao…💸💸💸
It's a rip off you can get a better place for the price.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for showing your apt in KL. Lots of greeneries view from d apt. D view of KL skyline from d rooftop swimming pool is amazing.
I really enjoy watching your videos! And I also like how you share the negative parts and not only the good ones, it's important to know the cons as well
Glad you like them!
Views are gorgeous thought! Thanks for the content c:
😊
Great video watched it on my new 50 inch tv, really clear quality, good views around from apartment, an good views around shops too, thanks. 📸📸📸📸🙏🙏🙏🙏🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
Very interesting to watch 💜
Thank you for sharing this with us. It's always interesting to see what you can get for your money in different places. We found same as you that Danang was very good value. We're in smaller towns in Thailand now and it's nearly as inexpensive.
Danang is vietnam almost 3/4of the population are poor
In malaysia most of us can pau thst money
This place is about 3000ringgit per month for 1 year lease which most malaysians can pay
I live in the condo a 100meters away
I'm sorry for the bad experience you guys went thru. I'm allergic to dust too and I can understand it immediately when you said you sneezed a lot. I hope you'll find a better place to stay. please give them the lowest rate.
Yes, I had the same experience in this building. Nice pool but the common areas really need a renovation (specially the elevators). I would recommend people not to book Airbnb in there if it’s for long term, only for few days..
Great Video! I'm actually booked there but on the 29th floor. By the way the side where you two stayed is all odd numbered units?
Don’t remember anymore, we moved out already. Have a good trip!
Beautiful 👍👍👍
Thank you for the video. Thank you for showing the bad n good. I'm shocked at the prices.
Excellent presentation. I’m presently planning to relocate from Thailand to K.L., so these type of videos help me understand the condo market.
Good luck relocating, I hope everything will work out ✌️
You can try find the apartment at Cyberjaya. More relax, trafic not so congested, more green view.
You should stay at THE FACE PLATINIUM. I stayed there almost a month. Im Malaysian and from Terengganu. I stayed there when my korean friend came to KL.
Thanks for the honest tour. The Apartment looks just like some of the places friends I visited had in K.L back in the late 80's and 90 early 90's. Back then I seem to recall they were about $600/mo to lease, so in today's dollars maybe the cost is about half of when it was new. Did you happen to see lease or buy prices for non Air B&B units in your complex? My guess is that someone bought that unit and is trying to squeeze some positive cash flow. I remember some Chinese friends who used to buy condos and rent them for a profit.
As for K.L. Being a place to live, My impression years ago was that Penang was more more laid-back and comfortable, mainly due to the traffic and air quality in K.L. and it seems that has not changed.
Yeah, airbnbs are easier to rent I guess, people don’t get to see the state of it first 😅 no, we didn’t see the sale prices
Muito obrigado por compartilha suas experiencias td bom pra vcs, breve estarei ai.
Happy that it helped!
Super Masha Allah
Actually quite like this place from your video. looking to buy a holiday home
Sorry to hear about your experience. I have been to Kuala Lumpur 9 times. Only once I had a similar experience. Most of the time I stayed a bit closer to the petronas towers. 8/9 times my experience was a 5/5 ⭐️. The price seems a bit steep as well.
You picked the wrong place unfortunately. For $900 (more or less RM4000) you could have gone with something WAYY better than this shithole (sorry for the language). Check out Eaton Residences. Think you can rent it for a similar price.
Try stonor 3 or Aria, when KLCC MRT station opens on March. The unit is much newer and nicer. Or Komune living and wellness hotel CHERAS for long term stay. Regaliaaa is old, very long waiting lift, poorly managed.
Hello is Regalia Hotel one and the same as Regalia Suites? Now I'm scared, will be there next month we booked in Regalia Suites thru AirBnb too pictures looks great, but now im quite giddy.
I’m not sure, you’ll have to ask the host
It's an old building and USD 900 per month is depending on your budget. Can you get a better accomodation perhaps but 900 x 4.3 RM 3.8K +- in KL it's reasonable price. However the qualify of the apartment your are staying is bad. Perhaps the owner didn't do a proper maintenance.
Also I think I have never encountered an apartment access like this in Malaysia.
Safety is not a concern by the developer when designing this building.
Masih ada sampah di tepi tangga tu...kata KL bersih...penguatkuasa kena pantau tu...KL dan seluruh Malaysia..please...jgn buang sampah merata tempat..
Saya nampak. Harap dbkl bersihkan
Salah kan org kite pngotor..tgk je tepi highway bersepah sampah..kL kire ok la sbb ade pkerja pmbersihan
for $900 .. you deserve 2x better condominium unit.
Nearly purchased a unit there back in 2018 but cancelled it as it is an old apartment located in an old area and not many locals with families are living there anymore. It’s located just too far away from the living contemporary KL. Regalia is located in an area which was at its prime back in the 1990s, most KLites have moved out to Bangi, Nilai, Damansara or Melawati/ Selayang area. I eventually purchased an apartment located in an up and coming area of KL of Wangsa Maju.
"for this price? i refuse!!" 🤣same girl, same...
😂
I guess u can complain n try to request for a better unit .
How funny! We stayed there in 2017; don’t remember how much we paid but the place was so run down. The gym had old equipments and not maintained. The infinity pool looked really nice in pictures but in reality it was small and so crowded! However, the view of twin towers from our apartment was very nice! Other plus was close to the subway station and the mall is just next door.
Ur condo has nice view.
Didn't you check the reviews for this unit first?
Yes we did
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces Did you also see the photos posted by other reviewers? They must have a very low expectation compared to you since it seems that they have given positive comments or otherwise you wouldn't have chose that unit. I will normally check reviews from other booking websites to really really make sure I wont be disappointed when I arrive. Check the room measurements as photos can be deceiving. You see a large nice room but you end up to a small room with old furnitures. You mentioned that you can get better apartment with lower price in Bangkok. Is that fair, as it seems that if you really have done your homework you probably can get the same or cheaper price here too. You have to consider the timing of booking too there's peak time and there's low time. Year end is normally when the price will shoot to the highest. Probably you are already aware of what I mentioned but I am just sharing my 30 years of business and leisure travel experience.
Guys you can move to Sunway Velocity...they have great condos for good price and also connecting with shopping mall and MRT and LRT...more better than your place🤗
wow thank you, i was literally just about the book that airbnb for 1 month! looked great in photos, but after watching that NOWAY! thank god im taking it elsewhere! broken ripped table clothes roaches in the sinks dirty walls, no balcony and poor cleaning service i would suffer 1 month. thank you very much for this video.
glad that we could save someone from having same bad experience 😊
Hey I don't want to have this experience I am also going kl first time for 1 month, can any1 suggest a building that's decent to avoid all this
@@designerappealing994 yeah I'm staying at the Fairlane residents. It's a good price pool gym not to large and it's 1min walk to lot 10 2-3mins to pavilion and all the Nightlife. Basically walk out the door straight into all the action, check it on Airbnb Yuet is a great host I been here 6weeks now. 7/11 next to front door
Regalia .... I was there last year .... dingy place. If you are using Booking or Agoda, read the comments (rank by Newest post) before booking a unit. Photos of the unit might look good but not the same in reality.
Is that $900 in US Dollars per month? Or in Ringgit? If that’s in Ringgit that’s a bargain but considering the current condition of the unit not worth my money even if it has high ceilings. If that’s in US dollars in that case that’s way too expensive and your location is not actually in the KL City Center. I'm living in Kota Damansara and I’m renting $450 USD for a 2-bedroom 2 bath fully furnish 95 m² service apartment and a 10min walk from the nearest MRT Station, 5 min wank from all the restaurants and 12 min. to Ikea by train.
Welcome...
If you’re looking for expat place, please visit Desa Park City. Trust me, you won’t regret it
Hey can you recommend me a good place to stay kl condominium that is decent
That's quite cheap price compared to average unit in that building.
Cool
I happen to stay in one of the unit there and yes I agree the place is dusty and not maintained properly. Probably because it is old building. But nonetheless, the host/owner should clean the place before the renter check in.
Did you experience having mold? I rent in malaysia and almost every rental ive visited and rented has mold problems because of our humidity levels. Theres like no basic knowledge among landlords to put in dehumidifiers before closing the place up for months when there’s no one living in it yet so that mold doesnt start growing
Oh my, you totally got scammed. Have you check out Eaton Residences?
$900 is a lot I have heard $500 will fetch a decent accommodation in KL
yeah, airbnbs, especially if booked late can be almost double from normal price
600 to 800 usd is normal. Yes 500 is possible.
There are so many good apartments and service suits that are gorgeous in KL for USD900. This is a bad deal.
❤❤❤
What you are paying is slightly expensive. With that pricing you can get something better.
👍
900USD is pretty high for a studio apartment. Try looking for a better price online
Its not studio, its one bedroom apartment
@@jombali8891 But it's still high price. It's approx MYR 3.8 k for a one bedroom apartment.
If we are to do a fair comparison, for MYR 900 vs
Euro350 compared to the Vietnam apartment, the Vietnam one is almost double the price. Its almost like backpacker price u are paying here ie rm30 a night!
$900, not 900MYR
Is this short term let ?
Was it 900ringgit or 900usd?
Regalia is one of the oldest placeit is a nice plsce the area is pre independece days
1 month is always expensive if direct from owner but abnb no!
$900
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces yes that would be the cost direct from owner.
That place is2800- 3000ringgit per month on 1 year lease minus utilties
Most malaysians can can afford that!
It is old township so the land value and 3km from city center
Location is good , but price is expensive and the apartment are not well maintained.
Stay in a cheaper but better place . BROWSE the internet & ask help from locals.
👍😄🙂🙋
How much deposit you have to pay?
We rented on Airbnb, there is no deposit
Do you think you were better off in Antalya?
Right now to rent an apartment in Antalya via airbnb is just as expensive
$900,00 is the price for short-term rentals. If you search and do your homework you can find this same flat for $550,00 for a 1 year contract.
IT was indeed a short-term rental
im malaysian... yeah.. a lot to be desired of the country. Fairly safe, that's the best thing about it. The rest is meh
Omg which condo is this please?
Full name is in the beginning of the video 😊
Did you manage to get a better apartment after that?
We left Malaysia after 1 month
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces so you stayed at the same hotel until you left?
This was an airbnb and we rented it for the whole month
Is there no reviews before booking? That is truly very bad maintenance of the unit. Looking at the sofa is so bad ! 😳😳😳
Please ask the owner to keep the house well maintained.
In Malaysia it's so important to look at the previous travellers staycation reviews . Otherwise, go for hotel is better for comfortability.
I think to live where you are with amenities for $900 is very cheap for a month. Of course if you plan ahead, you can go groceries shopping centre, at regular supermarket, cheaper. Buy the cockroach stickers and put it near the drainage. The dust comes from staying near to the roads & noise too. Check reviews when booking. How can you compare with Vietnam? 😅
Is this a pet friendly apartment
don't forget to try gardenia bread's... gardenia bread's is the most popular bread's in malaysia...
Only NY WILL SURPRISE
Hello there. I’m Malaysian. You definitely can get a better looking accommodation for $900 per month in Kuala Lumpur. $900 per month for that is a rip-off.
Hey I am going to kl can u advise me on where to go that's much better with all amemities
For that price is not good...many new apartment more cheap more nice
it’s too expensive for that price you guys could have a triple better one in Kuala Lumpur find another one there are plenty of better one with a good surrounding and save pedestrian they are many selections
Is this your first time visiting this part of the world?
You can check out other videos on the channel to see where we’ve been so far
this room should be around rm1000-1200..
For a mth ?
Is that US900 or RM?
If that's US900...it's too expensive.
$900
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces
There are nicer n newer Studio apartments with great view ...great infinity pools and amenities that you could get for just a little more than what you're paying for with that..and closer to the city's attraction.
hi I'm from Indonesia, I think I saw u two 3 weeks ago on the Monorail, Imbi KL 😁😁
Could be, we left 3 weeks ago 🙂
Im from kuala lumpur, u hv gotten a bad deal 900 usd is very expensive for this condo unit.. definitely the owner has taken u for a ride. The owner should also hv cleaned up nicely for u.. u can definitely get newer & nicer unit for the price u paid
Its expensive.. one can get much better deal for the price you paid. Even the FF&E is dated and not good quality.
900 euro?! Seriously, in KL for that kind of price you can actually get better places.
Look like the owner took advantage from foreigner. i think you should move out and get new cheaper apartment.
900USD is expensive for rent that house.
You can get better house for that price.
Don't buy there go to 99 speedmart is cheaper, why is the rent stated in $
We rented on airbnb
Can some 1 tell me where to go that's better with a pool and clean building
Rene’s accent sounds Dutch.
He is Dutch 😁
4000rm for that small condo? Yakkk
Those prices are ridiculous. Go to a regular Supermarket.
It seems you’re paying for the infinity pool and the view. Apartment is disappointing.
900 dollar,definately over price !
If the retirement visa didn't require you to deposit and keep (until you leave Malaysia)
150,000 MYR in a Malaysian bank I would retire there instead of in Thailand....
No more. Its over
@@jombali8891 What is over ?
Hello..I'm Lawrence from the Philippines.. Can you be my friend
After disliking the condo from your initial inspection, you should cancel renting it before inspecting another condo to your liking.
Cancellation is not possible with airbnb after you move in, they will not refund it
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces no worries, just stay till you guys check out, dont extend, but to be honest i was in Regalia from 2020 until 2022, because its very cheap monthly during the pandemic lockdown, but if im being honest i love the Regalia area nearby with sunway putral mall and not to mention easy access to the city via Grab car
800usd 😱
900usd i can get a better place,like more spacious 1000-1200sq
Omg… you not do more survey…this money can rent more new and high quality condo…. Do you know how much condo more quality then this 😂
For the same price, you will get a much better apartment in Turkey
Sorry you have paying too much! $900 wow crazy and no normal entrance 😪
After this maybe u guys can view first before pay😅
We have to book things in advance, there is no possibility to view it first
@@OlgaProGoingPlaces oh ic..
You guys are so unlucky...There are so many better apartments...& the $900 is too expensive...
It's unfortunate that you have rented a bad conditioned unit from the landlord
Why don't you guys stay in a proper hotel-residence serviced apartment (not hotel-hostel combo)? Airbnbs are expensive & you get ripped off like this. Always check reviews. Read latest reviews first. For the cockroaches, they can chew through your tape. Buy Baygon spray & spray into that drain hole in the day time. Don't wait till night. After spraying, put a cardboard over the drain hole & tape down all sides.
We did check the reviews, they were good. Thanks for the advice about cockroaches 😅
Sorry guys
I think you got cheated.
Funny condo! USD 900 a month???
Pattaya is much better value
Expensive lol u can get way more better then this 😉
Too simple and cheap furniture, not really worth $900.00!
I have seen better condos there for just $400 to $500. You are overpaying...
Can you name a few please? I’ll be going to Kuala Lumpur ( from Canada ) early next year and am looking for an affordable apartment or condo to stay. It’ll be ideal if it’s as near to the city centre as possible. Thank you in advance. Very much appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
It's a terrible place!!!
