I taught morality and ethics at university. What horrified me was not that the students were leftwing, as Saad says, but that they were utterly indifferent. They'd signed up to the course so I thought they'd be interested in exploring the issues. No. They just wanted to know what they were SUPPOSED to say, so thry could parrot it back and pass the course. Previously, I had believed that only happened in communist countries but this was in the West. The students didn't care about morals: their morality quite blatantly was that other people should obey rules because that made life easier but they themselves should live without rules applying to them. They expressed amorality, immaturity, and selfishness bordering on sociopathy, and when I tried to challenge their thinking they just shrugged their shoulders, plagiarised all their submissions - and left with honours degrees. It is frightening.
How utterly depressing. Their shallow approach somewhat reflects the shallow society we live in. 😢
I tend to agree that university students have a larger share of antisocial, evil people in their ranks than one typically encounters (the commies of course) but you may be complicating a simpler dynamic: They just don’t want to be there and are being extorted for their tuition dollars. That and the admissions are likely not purely merit-based, hence the willingness to become a slave without a free mind or tongue.
If they were known to be plagiarists why were they getting honors degrees?

This is a great talk between two very different but very special people .
I was thinking the exact same. They have lived to completely diffrent lives and yet they seem to have come to the same conclusions.
Such a good interview. I had a broad brushstroke view of Gad's history, but this filled in a lot of missing details.
It's good to see my two favourite warriors sitting down together for a long chat.
What a profound discussion, and as a black American male who is currently in the final stages before I receive my masters of science degree, Mr. Saad is unequivocally correct about this situation occurring throughout most of the academic world, and It is extremely difficult for people to express themselves and divulge factual information that would definitely go against this new ideology and new world that we’re in. Just by me saying this I might regret it in the future, but I had to say it. Thank you Mr. Saad and Mr. Robinson for speaking up about this issue, it needs to be disseminated to everyone by people like yourself who are directly from the academic community.

This was the best interview with Gad Saad. Now I know everything about who you are and what motivates you. Impressive. Tommy Robinson is a very humble interviewer. He wants to learn, he wants to know and in that pursuit, he's very successful. This was very good.

I’m reading this in Russia now (on a family visit in Königsberg). F*ck Putin and the war but I don’t think I’ve ever seen that few Muslim immigrants anywhere. Governments can change and even Putin won’t live forever, but once your demographics is poisoned with Islam, like everywhere in Europe (or Canada apparently), it’s over. Australia has the same problem.
Australia has shown what it can be and what in can achieve during the covid 'nonsense'. As Australian writer and wit Cive James said modern Australia was founded on a nation of convicts and jailers.

You can say that there are 'Peaceful Muslims',,,but these same people do not stand against radical Islamic behaviour. Which means that they accept that it is a part of their ideology and therefore they condone terrorism. So there are no 'Moderate Muslims'.

@mjtheway4ward They have no motivation to help keep the radicals in check. When I was a kid everybody in kindergarten had to learn that watching someone be bullied and not intervening is almost as bad as doing the bullying yourself.
This has already been a fascinating conversation and I'm only half way through. It was really good to hear more details about Gad's story growing up, it's worse than I had imagined. I have been following both of you for years so it's great to see you meet.

I am French Canadian born and raised in montreal.
I had many friends of many different backgrounds because so many people come to montreal from all walks of life.
I lived in Israel for a year while in a relationship with a Israeli soldier being 20 at the time.
I love Israel and Israelis.
Still in contact and I was gutted on Oct 7.
BUT
I don’t understand where is the appreciation for the montrealers?
People of other cultures who came from messed up places and now enjoy all that places like montreal has to offer, healthcare, education…
All this is all good but when these same immigrants speak of Canada or montreal it’s only to shit on it?
Excuse my choice of words but for someone who always stood up for multiculturalism and have respected all nationalities and religions that I was faced with. Now that Islamists are trying to take what’s ours because we opened our doors. I would expect a bit of gratitude if not guilt for bringing their conflicts to my city……

Gad, I've read all your books and listened to you on podcasts, lectures and interviews. You are amazing to meet with Tommy as for many years the establishment has fought against him, done so much to destroy his credibility, to break his spirit and financially cripple him.
With every intellectual who interacts with him, every time a respected profession and commentator meets with him, he becomes harder to ignore and harder to attack. His message and following grows.
You are helping show the world that his message cannot be silenced by the biased legacy media. You're helping to shine the light where the authorities have hidden the truths that affect all of our everyday lives in the shadows.
Please use your networks and community you have fostered and earned through your work, to help Tommy gain the visibility and stage he deserves. He has lost so much in this fight. He has risked his liberty, income and his and his family's safety. He has been boots on the ground and the voice for many of us who have suffered because of hateful ideologies and not been listened to or supported by people who should have spoken up and had the authority and ability to speak up and weakly remained silent. They chose their careers and positions over doing what is right. Tommy stands strong.
