What an awesome idea. I loved playing dodrio and onyx for a period of time. I stopped when Iron Hands became a thing

Love this deck idea! I was trying it a few days ago with Munkidori without the Dudunsparce (using just Dodrio’s draw power) but it was REALLY hard not to knock myself out. I used a few healing/damage spread/hp buff items & tools to help keep my Dodrio alive.
I found myself using only 1 benched Froslass against other single prize decks and 2 when against 2-prizers. The tempo is really interesting, and you have to do some math for how much damage you’re going to take from your own Froslass lol.

Yoo, I was trying this deck the other day with Hisuian Zoroark, but wasn't getting much success, thanks for the inspiration, I will try to fuse this list with zoroark and see what I can do.

Froslass is Zoroark would work also. I may have to try that!
Why not add HP modifiers with a Town store? Emergency Jelly and possibly a heroes cape? Also could use Monkidori to help the math Use Jacq to find your evolutions

You need a munkidori even a alakazam or something to heal your dodrio

Munkidori makes sense given it plays dark energy already.

Got one you should try. If it had let me I would’ve taken 8 prizes one turn. Whipping out his whole board on one turn. Alakazam’s strange hacking attack, Alolan raticate, bibarel for draw, Pidgeot Ex. Can give you my list or can make your own

@@snipethebench 2 abra, 1 kadabra, 2 Alakazam’s strange haching attack, 3 Alolan ratta, 3 Alolan raticate, 2 pidgey,2 Pidgeot EX, 2 bidof, 2 bibarel, 3 rare candy, 4 buddy puffin, 4 counter catcher, 4 arven, 1 super rod, 4 iono, 2 Roxanne, 2 artazon, 4 ultra ball, 1 nest, 3 panic mask, 1 survival brace, 1 Lana’s aid, 1 switch 2 psychic, 4 reversal, energy. I find is best to go second to help get set up and you want them to take the first prize. Then set their board up to where you get all six prizes at one time just don’t mess up and take prizes early to where your reversal energy no longer works. There have been Duris times I have taken eight prizes. A lot of times I hit a one prizer and will have 3 2 prizers on their board or 2 two prizers and 2 one prizers can take out with damage spread. Just make sure you got your math right? I had a game. I was short by two damage counters and didn’t realize it. Luckily, they used magma basin, and it gave me two damage counters to finish him off. The one prizer I will hit last and use it to finish out the game on the opponents board wiping them out. I have climbed the ladder faster than I ever have using this deck. I have thought about adding a fourth panic mask. Have only needed it once or twice. The Arven work out real good mid to endgame helping me to get an item card and a mask I try not to put down the stage 2 Alakazam until as late as possible so they think I am using the regular Alakazam that needs 2 energy therefore they don’t hit it. I will leave the energy off of it until the very end so they don’t see it as a threat. But it is your key card to end the game.
@@snipethebench I am finding that it is hard to lose with this deck. Unless you have a bad set up of the first couple turns. I went 4 turns before I got setup and still won. So it is possible though to not get set up the first couple and still win but rarely. The thing I’m finding is no one knows how to play against this deck and what to target. They seem to target everything but the one card they need to target. I added a thorton the deck to help me get into the Alakazam when I need it.
This is a wonderful idea for a deck! The only real improvement I can see is the Damage Pump card to move 20 damage somewhere, potentially either saving a dodrio from Doing or making it do an extra 120 damage.
I thought of damage pump after I was done. Definitely should be added to move the damage around.
You need something to increase Dodrio HP
I tried finding something but a hero’s cape is the only thing and we already have an ace-spec. Although it could be changed. Not sure how good that one is.
I hate Lugia lol
I don’t know how people play it with its inconsistency.
