Fan Zhendong is very strong mentally.
Ma Long played it safe and very passive the in the last match. When the stakes are not that high. Hope to see him let loose and have fun. Wang Chuqin is the next Ma long, Great serve game, great backhand and forehand. There was talk that Fan Zhendong was fading not at all. He is the MVP of these games.

Доволен, что в этот раз Ма Лонг выйграл свою встречу, причем достаточно уверенно. Ну а по братьям Лебрун (или Лебрен), не понятно, как сложится их дальнейшая карьера. Старший повзрослел и набрал лишний вес, если и дальше продолжит толстеть, то вряд ли сможет показывать хорошие результаты. Хотя его игра сегодня меня приятно удивила. Как изменится игра Феликса по мере возмужания, будем следить. А вообще, из трёх французов, на мой взгляд, наиболее зрелищную игру демонстрирует Симон Гаузи (один из вариантов написания имени и фамилии).

Да никак не сложится. Наглые они оба, как на мой взгляд. Плюс, перо -- не перспективная хватка (недостаточно степени свободы). Плюс, китайская машина спорта настолько хорошо работает что китайцы будут на доминирующих позициях ещё очень много-много лет.

Disappointing Felix, he was France's biggest hope and was overpowered so easily by number 2 in the world. Alexis had the match of the day with an impressive game against Fan Zhedong, he had number 1 against the ropes but failed to concrete to win game on crucial set 4 after being up 8x4.
Nice surprise by Gauzy on winning 1st Set. At the end, nothing changed.
South Korea did a much better job setting opposition against Chinese men table tennis team. Once more as expected, the Chinese won.

First of all Congratulations once more to China! This time the title was a hard one to earn but they managed :)
The way the championships ended were kind of sad though. Ma Long wins the last point to make China the World champion.. and there is almost no celebration. No joy.. Not from him, also not a lot from his team. In the interview he announces his carrier end (at least for World championships?), this should get so much more attention and honor. Additionally, only one interview question to one player.. idk.. I think the presentation of the archivements here are kind of poor

He kept raising the hand before every serve. Even raised the hand right after the yellow card.
@@BrunoNeureiter I saw that. And I think it is good sportsmanship if you let a serving opponent to know that you are not ready by raising your hand.
@@BrunoNeureiter Alexis was too hyper. There was an incident with one player getting frustrated as Alexis serves without him being ready. I actually laughed at that incident. 🤣

Congratulations to China once again for winning the title !!! I am concerned about the current Chinese roster. In my opinion, I think this is the weakest squad in recent times going back say the past 25 years. Let me do a comparison of the top 3 players making up the national team during that time.
Fan Zhendong, Wang Chuqin, Ma Long: age is catching up very fast with the GOAT ;
Ma Long, Fan Zhendong (successor to Ma), Xu Xin (Xuperman the entertainer, but no longer active on the national team)
Ma Long, Zhang Jike (achieved most by any player in the shortest amount of time), Xu Xin
Wang Hao, Ma Long, Zhang Jike -- possibly the best squad
Wang Liqin (my personal favorite, tall, lanky, fast, powerful forehand), Ma Lin (very power forehand for a penholder), Wang Hao (best reverse penhold backhand, probably most underappreciated)
Kong Linghui, Liu Guoliang, Wang Liqin
All of them have won Olympics gold and world championships as a team or individuals !!!!
