- Visualizing the difference is Laptop brightness.
Laptops from right to left
Asus Tuf a15 2023
Lenovo Legion 5 SLIM 2023
MSI GE67HX 2022
Samsung Tab s9 Ultra - Věda a technologie
I think that it is not easy to spot the difference in brightness in a video, but in real life, I swapped from a 250nit screen to a 400nits screen in my laptop, and it was an insanely big difference!
its almost double nits!
❤
This is a really good topic to cover, so many new buyers come in and don't know which one to pick.
Yeah exactly and there is not a lot of data out there
This is great! Thx for the comparison. I just bought an alienware m18 cyber Monday and worried about all the negative reviews of the 300 ish nits. Was going to return it. I can see a slight difference between 300 to 400 but it definitey doesn’t seem like a deal breaker Thx again
Thank you so much for this comparison. It really makes a difference seeing them side my side.
Thank you man!
Question. Correct me if im wrong but according to other videos I have seen, I thought the 2023 a15 got up to 300 nits on the base FHD option? Is that not the case with the one you have?
Hi, what you will recommend Asus Rog Strix G16 2023 or Lenovo Legion Slim 5 2023 ?
Which is better for 3d designing 2560 x 1600 or 1920 x 1200 ?
Is there much difference?
Help me choose between laptop (with 600 nits +720p cam +pixel shift tech )and a laptop with (400 nits and 1440 p cam) both oled
Is 250 nits for gaming indoor worth it or spend €300 more and get better cpu, better resolution 1600p and 500 nits?
Good video...if a friend of mine is looking at a laptop to use on multiple monitors at 250nits in a man cave in the attic for business purposes should that be fine?
Asus is more blueish whereas msi and s24 are kinda purplish, why is that?
I'm trying buy the Asus f15 2023, are the colors correct in Asus?
i have to choose between a 350 and 400 monitor, is it a noticeable difference?
Hi Lenovo legion 5 slim 2023 have HDR?
These all seem completely fine, tbh. Actually kinda favor the lower nits. The high end seems a bit too painfully bright.
Now I need a comparison of nits, so when I am at the beach in full sunlight, I can still game. Thanks Stan
I’ve always wondered how many nits is enough. I am planning to buy an OLED laptop and the only OLED screen I have seen in real life is my Switch OLED screen so I want something like that. I feel 400 is a good brightness. Thank you for this video!
Display coating also matters. Consumer grade matte just reduces brightness. Glossy displays enhance it since they won't be blocking/absorbing any of the light emitted by the display. It also leads to better image quality. Thats why glossy OLED/IPS/mini led look the best. Sure, high end matte might rival them but those matte displays tend to be glossier themselves.
Nice brou.
this is not true. my laptop 220 nits display is destroyed by my ipad's 500 nits screen in terms of brightness. 220 nits is dim even in well lit in doors. always go for higher brightness
to me, anything under 400 nits, even indoors, just seem way too dim and i feel i have to squint to see any of it, picking anything under 400 nits would just be a limitation and i dont understand how they can release monitors and laptops with under 300 nits even and it be acceptable
To cheap out and dupe customers by bombarding them with "freedom of choice" options
Bruh do you look at your phone with maximum brightness?
@@crackersnuckerhe said 400 nits. Most phones are 1000 nits minimum. About 40% brightness is normal on a phone. Certain phones are even double that
@@toptiertech7291Most phones now are 800 nits max with manual brightness.
HBM (High Brightness Mode for outdoor sunlight usage) and peak brightness are two different things.
HDR makes brightness more important, but color, contrast and viewing angles are more important.
No more crying voice Good start.
Hahahaha! That video actually cut the sound at the start. Wierd glitch. It indeed sounded like crying hahahaha
@@TechTyrial Danke schon.
What video? Link me
thx
400 nits seems the sweat spot.
The difference is hard to see in CZcams playback.
Yeah! Waiting on HDR to load in. That gives a good impression
@@TechTyrial why watch HDR IN A LAP TOP. PROJECTOR OR TELEVISION !!
test very low nits in dark room
4k60 HDR loading :)
Hit that like to please the algorithm gods.
You don't even tell what the brightness levels are on each. One could be on maximum 100 or one could be at 50. How could you miss such a crucial detail?
He literally listed all the brightness levels in the beginning of the video??? 😂
first
Подари мне любой один компьтер а то мой уже не запускаеться ... если не жалко или есть какой то ненужный девайс который тянет хотябы COD MW 4
If I bought 500 nits I'd be turning down the brightness anyways, 350 at max is bright enough but gets too dim when at 80%. 450 might be the sweet spot for me.
Low nits put strain on the eyes
