Helldivers 2 Arc Thrower build is STRONG

- Upload 3 of many to come. In this video we are stress testing the arc thrower and it is STRONG... maybe even too strong. We had lots of fun killing the bugs and each other, accidentals were plentiful in our testing to say the least.

I’ve been telling people the arc is cracked. Not having to worry about ammo is clutch, you just need to learn how to use it properly and not toast your team
There is so much ammo available in every mission and ammo weapons are so much more effective.
4 guys shoot 1 charger for 20 seconds while 1 guy with a spear or recoilles launcher can 1 shot em.
Way more effective to specialize and play as a team.

But I also wasn’t advocating for everyone to take the exact same load out. To act like ammo isn’t a factor is ridiculous though…
I hate how Arc thrower can get someone kicked because teammates are afraid they'll get teamkilled. Yet, someone running 4 eagle strikes is usually the person teamkilling left and right in most of my games. The arc thrower is strong af, people just need to figure out when they can use it and when they shouldn't. Just don't shoot near your team or let them know to back up some from the enemies you want to shoot at.
It shoots in like a cone, and anything beyond the intended target it can jump to, but doesn't jump to friendlies in front of the target..I love the arc, only time I kill team mates is if they suddenly jump right in, when I'm not expecting!

@@TopG_KnightofOne not entirely true, there is a bug where when a ps5 player joins a lobby, everyone else deals more damage to titans. i can 2 shot titans with arc thrower when a ps5 player joins me but solo i need 20 shots. its a known bug for a while

Don't cross the beams
Arc-Thrower pro tip: After the first full charge the next arc unload can be released quicker.
So you just need to charge around 60-70% before release. If you get a good feeling for the right timing, your rate of fire gets up a good amount. Dead corpses between you and the enemy can block the arc.

This strategy got even better with the new armor giving 95% shock resistance. You wouldn't kill eachother.
be bellow it near its foort or equal /higher ground aim for the head and you WILL be able to one tap it anyways good luck
you should try running this with the Arc resistant armor so even if your arcs do jump to friendly they will also jump to enemy

Just found out you can shoot with a 1/2 charge on arc yesterday. Sooooooo much better

It doesn’t need a nerf it’s in a good spot they’re just not being mindful of their teammates I’ve run in a stack of dudes all using these and we managed to go the whole hell dive and not kill each other
They just added armour that removes 95% arc damage, I think the devs know what's up.

You should probabley use the any arc armor so your much safer and also it will bounce dad makes it longer range, so you can shot yourselfs for more range and aoe
