Back in the 90's I was heavily involved in the underground music scene in Detroit. I promoted and secured venues for mostly rap battles and alternative/grunge gigs! At one of these battles this pasty white boy shows up with a group of some questionable looking dudes! Imagine all the eye rolls, laughs, and wtf's when this scrawny white boy grabbed the mic! It took about 30 seconds for the room to get silence and say "hold up, what the..."! We knew we were witnessing something special! We had no idea who he was. He had never been to any of my events before that night or after! I wasn't surprised when I heard "My name is..."! What this dude does is nothing you can be taught! You're born with this! I always say I witnessed a legend before fame!

The ENTIRE SECTION from "I pray please Jesus" to "Shake these trees again" rhymes internally. That entire thing is crafted around the long E sound and it's the most insane thing I've ever heard in a rap in my whole life. Holy fucking shit.
This freestyle is too complex for the brain dead mumble rap consumers of the world. Em’s rhyme schemes and word play are out of this world. He snapped 🔥🔥
