    This makes me think of an Arthurian poem by Taliesin where a chain is described in relation to an ox. This would have been from around the late 500's AD.

    These chains are gorgeous, they had great jewels.
    About the weight, is not that much, when you wear it you feel less the weight, I have a 1 kg cross necklace and it is not very heavy.

      @@nicparker3809: Yes, I wear a 1 kg necklace. Maybe you should go to school fist, because I know better than you what I have designed and what I have put on scale.
      And if you don't like heavy jewelry, don't wear it.
