  • Building this volleyball standard system required some cutting and welding, but was worth the extra effort in the end. The net height and tension are easily adjustable with the set screw and cam lock straps. In addition to the concrete base, the uprights can be anchored and staked to the ground for increased net tension. It turned out to be highly portable and easy to set up with just one person.

Holy cow, I don't have that kind of equipment and was looking for something far easier! But nice job!

This is really well done! It would be even steadier with two stabilizing ropes per side at an angle to keep the posts from falling over when somebody really hits the net hard. I really like the cam buckle strap idea. Thanks for a good video!

Great job!! I’m trying to do something similar, Where did you get the poles from?

I got them from a local steel/metal supplier. Metal is crazy expensive right now, you might also try local classifieds or Facebook. I've had really good luck with that. Good luck on your project!

Thank you. Do you know what’s the size (width and length) on both poles?

I would love for you to do the top part of the pole and I’ll do the rest since I don’t have the tools to make them. I would pay you for it and shipping too. What do you say?

I appreciate the offer, but I'll have to pass for now. If I get something available, I will let you know. Thanks for watching!
