Gabriel's voice is simply beautiful and made out of some kind of space wizard magic, he has some really lovely covers out there too. 😇Truly, his talent is just mind boggling. But if you're checking out AGT contestants, it would be an actual crime not to mention Angelina Jordon. Like Gabriel, her voice is completely unique and mesmerizing. Plus she's been singing since she was a tiny bambino, it's really fun to watch her performances from age 7 or 8 to now, she's 17 I think and she's only getting better.
And this is far from being his best.

Hello sir! Thank you for your nice reaction and comments on Gabriel Henrique's performance on AGT 2023. I don't know many details about Gabriel's background but I've heard that he grew up singing in church (many of songs performed by him in Portuguese are religious) and he is mainly self taught on singing with some support of his father. Also, he's been putting a lot of efforts to develop his English skills to be able to perform songs in this language (more daitails can be offered by his fanbase that will be soon arriving on your channel). I also know that Gabriel is a huge fan of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey and does several covers of songs by these pop divas (which you could see he does exceptionally well with his unique, well-trained voice). That whistle is definetly his trademark!

Vejo Gabriel cantar desde que aprendeu a falar tudo que vc disse e real .Só esqueceu de dizer que Gabriel nunca frequentou uma aula de canto. A whole bunch of videos waiting for you! You can watch his progression if you want or hop all over the place? He doesn’t speak English, or at least not much. Which is also amazing really? He has really been working on that though and it shows in his latest videos. I kinda like an accent so 🤷🏼♀️? He has recently done “Earth Song” and you know to do an MJ song is scary? Also, "I Want To Know What Love Is", a Foreigner cover. There are 2 versions. Please do the one in his car. Some reactors have said he used auto tune, etc., so.....he gave them a real AUTO tune. Gabriel is about music! He has spectacular range and control. Every song, in 2 languages, is amazing in its own way. You are going to have fun listening to him. He has no formal training. He started listening to Mariah and Whitney as a toddler. He is learning conversational English and just turned 28!

Glad you've hit the Gabriel rabbit hole. Easily one of the best voices in the world today. Really enjoyed your breakdown. Again I learned something from you. He has quite an extensive catalog now. This AGT performance is actually fairly new. Can't go wrong with any of his stuff. He does like Whitney and Mariah and they're all great, even his performances in his car. I believe he has a choral/church background so has several songs in that genre. His version of Stand Up is still one of my absolute favorites of his.

Sir Hairless, I thank you! I hope you have a Portuguese translator handy. You are going to get boatloads of comments from his Brazilian fan base. Gabriel is very popular in his home country, been recording for the last 5 years and performed on Brazilian talent shows. He hasn't been widely known in the states until he was on AGT, but has quite a following on YT. Hint. I got another vocal YT creator to react to Gabriel Henrique for the first time and his video ended up getting 10K views and 600 new subscribers in a week.

Gabriel is a unique vocalist, world class, at a Dimash level, though they are both different artists in many ways. He has been singing since he was three years old... and his father being a musician has showed him many songs, turning him into a Whitney and Mariah Carey fan. He is blessed with an amazing voice and I ma sure we have a lot more of Gabriel coming. AGT was a show, and he didn't pass semi-finals.... I have my own theory why, to sum it's showbiz.... but it doesn't take away his credit as a true artist and it brought him a larger exposition. I have been following him for two years now, and he never ceases to surprise. Thanks for your reaction! Cheers
Gabriel is an evangelical singer. He is self-taught. Whitney is his biggest musical inspiration, followed by Mariah. Gabriel started listening to them at the age of three. Gabriel has been singing since he was a little boy. He is an amazing vocalist that pulls you in with his vocal prowess. The first time I heard him sing (a Whitney Houston song "I HAVE NOTHING") I was hooked. His voice is addictive. Hey, @Sir Hairless, would you think anyone that watched this performance on TV would book a ticket from Brazil to Pasadena (AGT) just to see him in the qualifiers and meet this person? Well, I did. I couldn't sleep, those whistles were like a gift he threw to the audience. Think how many times this was done on AGT stage? That was a super privileged audience that day, I wish I were there, but then I watched him in the qualifiers singing Something Beautiful. Thank you!
