You always amaze me with your skill to draw out all of the intricacies of the music. Clearly Igor is blessed to have collaborated with someone whose vocal skill is limitless. Igor would never have been able to write music like this were it not for Dimash. They draw the best out of each other. Actually Dimash messed about so much with the melody while Igor was composing this that it ended up completely different from how it started.
There's video footage of both of them working on the song at Igor's home, Igor is moaning at him for changing the song and Dimash is laughing. It's great footage that really shows their creative process and how they work so closely together.
Dimash once said "Igor composes and I sing" but that's so obviously not the case with Dimash being such an integral part of the process and Igor obviously respecting the skills of this extremely talented young musician and composer.

I actually like “Love is Like a Dream” with Igor and Dimash a bit better, just because Dimash is restrained with much of the song, with beautiful soft notes up and down the scale, with surprises.

👉 This is the live world premiere of this song in honor of all women on International Women's Day on March 8, 2020 at the Moscow Kremlin. This event was a successful combination of honoring women on International Women's Day and the traditional festive show of Valentin Yudashkin. The People's Artist of Russia presented his annual spring-summer collection “Haute Couture”.
(By the way, the blonde woman at the beginning of the video is Igor Krutoy's sister Alla Krutoy (you can also see her in the video 'Sinful Passion').
No one else then Dimash can sing this song alone. This song was especially composed for Dimash by the world-famous Igor Krutoy. Here he plays the piano.
This (Kremlin) is Dimash’s favourite venue. When Dimash performs at the Kremlin, he says he doesn't need ear-ins because the acoustics there are so excellent. (There are other videos that confirm this)
* Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/ Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). His family lives in the US. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. They are friends and have a father-son relationship.
Krutoy wrote of what working with Dimash meant to him: “How lucky it is to be doing what you love to do, writing for such a brilliantly feeling singer, evoking deep emotion in the audience and being in demand'.
So far, Igor has composed several songs for Dimash and many songs in 30 years for Lara Fabian and other singers. Most of the songs in this concert were by him.

I miss the collaborations between Igor and Dimash. An unlikely comraderie highlighted by their common musicality and humour (trust me - someone who is willing to take such unusual musical choices in their compositions has an oddball sense of humour!). We can only hope that they will someday have the opportunity to work together again. I am an absolute fan of this song… I would not be that surprised if Dimash had some small problems with the words since Dimash was still working on his English. Dimash's performance of Queen's The Show Must Go On is really good as well. He hits some notes in that one that are
pretty amazing. This performance for me is one of Dimash's best.
One of the comments asks you to do a video about yourself. I'd love that to understand how you were drawn to music and what you did from a young age, obviously you were playing piano but what inspired you. You don't have to tell us all about your personal life, but just your amazing musical talent. Hope that's not too much to ask for. Take care 🤗
Thank you! I just always enjoyed music and really started progressing when I stopped piano lessons aged around 15. It was at this point where I could just play what I wanted (which was a lot of learning Chopin by ear)! And I used to transcribe songs and barbershop and whatever else in my spare time
