Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable in all forms of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world.

Finally, someone with a doctorate giving their two cents. I've been obsessed with Dimash's techniques and quips for a long time now and I'm so attached to watching reaction videos in order to learn more. As a producer, he's the singer I want to pick at with different genres to experiment different styles and/or splices to see how far I can push music.

Dimash has a production company committed to such exploration. You might be familiar that he has turned down many offers to excel in the field of Opera because of the limited scope the practice follows. His opus, "The Story Of One Sky, is an amazing adventure into an almost super-human endeavor. Give it a listen.

Dimash's version of "Sinful Passion" originally composed by Baigali Serkebayev (at keyboards) and performed in 1998 by the Kazakhstan band, A-Studio. To honor the song and band, Dimash, asked A Studio to play the song on the stage with Dimash. The tribal/ethnic trill (aka CAPRINO: is a rapidly beating vibrato that sounds like a trill or a bleating of a goat and is sung in several ethnic and cultural areas throughout Kazakhstan, the Middle East and many other areas). Dimash sang this Caprino as a tribute and to pay respect to Batyr Shukenov, who died in 2015. You may already know that Dimash has so many different sounds because he has been taking singing and piano lessons since he was 5 years old when his teacher discovered he had perfect pitch. He earned his first University Bachelor's Degrees in Classical Music (Opera) at the music institute of K. Zhubanov University in Aktobe and his second Bachelor's Degree at the Contemporary Music (Jazz, Pop) at Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana. On 18 June 2020, he graduated from the same university with a Master's Degree in Composition by defending his Master's thesis with a perfect score. Although Dimash was invited to enter the Ph.D. Program in Classical Music (Opera) in 2020, he entered a Ph.D. Program to study the development of music through folk songs and technique. However, I'm not sure he finished his Ph.D. dissertation given his numerous projects and shows. It is clear that he has continued to study the development of many cultural compositions and singing techniques. One thing I do want to make clear is that Dimash will never sing in a manner that would damage his voice. For example, in his song "The Story of One Sky" in the latter part of the song, it sounds as though Dimash is screaming, but if you listen carefully, there is not tension and a noticeable vibrato which demonstrates that he has created a relaxed technique that will not cause vocal nodules.

Dimash practices for 3 hours per day, tries to swim underwater for 1 hour per day when a pool is available to keep his diaphragm graded, and sings througout his days, as he goes when not talking, and sleeps in between. He does not drink alcohol or soda, or eat rubbish, being a very good living humble loving commendable young man, is reserving his lovelife for his future wife who will live with his family, who uphold him diligently and are the foundation of his business, company, Dimashali.
He is not just very talented, his grandmother new his future before he was born, and he has fully cooperated with his destiny since birth/early childhood, was onstage at 2, having formal training at an academy in singing and piano at 5, and is now now a Master, studing for a Doctorate.
His destiny will envelope world music like the ancient famous composers, and will be ongoing into our new long lives world.
So enjoy the ride on the Dimash Express like all of us millions do from all around the world.
There is healing and refreshment in his frequencies as many testify to.

Dimash turned 30 in May 24, and have been singing since he was 5 years old. He practice like 3 hours every day and 10 to 12 hours before a concert. Do alot of swimming and other stuff, besides that he has a red stripe belt in taekwondo. Dimash is the best singer in the world and this century right now. He is music. He said in a interview that if you cut his heart into two, it probably will bleed music. 🎶 ✌️🇳🇴

👉Dimash's deep and gentle voice... I melt away. What a wonderful song, wonderfully sung by Dimash (Russian language). Did you hold your breath? 🤣 The final run was 23 seconds with one breath. 👏👏👏
Dimash sings here as a guest on the New Wave 2018 (international competition). Igor Krutoy, the man in the white shirt at the end, a famous Russian composer, music titan and initiator of the New Wave had invited him. Now, both are a "Dreamteam" and work together from time to time. They are friends, have a father-son-relationship.
... and of course Dimash donates the many flowers to hospitals and retirement homes.
The band that Dimash accompanies at this performance called A’Studio, who composed and performed “Sinful Passion” in 1998. The band is also from Kazakhstan (Dimash's homeland) and this Dimash performance has revived the song.
    *Original: A'STUDIO - Грешная страсть/ SInful Passion (pronounced: Greshnaya Strust) - czcams.com/video/CN9fHwhna_M/video.html
The glottal - stops is a throat singing technique called "bleating", “goat's trill” or „Trillo caprino/ little goat“ used by the indigenous peoples of the Far East. In Iran called this technique „tahrir“
In 17th-century Italy, 'trillo' referred to the so-called 'Monteverdi trill' or bleat, a tremolo-like repetition of a single pitch. Singing these trills was frowned upon.

GRACIAS!!

Thank you so much. I was not laughing but smiling whole the time. I enjoyed it! So glad you picked on those details. And I'm sure we're gonna learn some Dimash tricks in the future. That's the fun part. I've done sos on my last singing try-out after 13 years music academy. But yeah, I'm not nearly as good as him. I know my limits but I also know I can learn so much more.

Very, very good advice. Adapt your voice to your daily speech. I lost my singing voice due to some vocal nodules, I had surgery and I thought, it's over. I started writing to occupy my time and reciting poems live, until one day someone who knew me and listened to me said "you recite those poems exactly as you sang". From then on I continued and what is certain is that I recovered more than 80% of my voice tone. Never give up. The voice requires a lot of training and wisdom and Dimash always said he had 1% talent and 99% work. No athlete wins trophies without a lot of training. It’s the same with the vocal cords. Calmly, carefully, treating them well and exercising everything can be achieved. I loved your reaction, you know what you're talking about, but it was in your last piece of advice that I particularly noticed myself. Thank you for sharing this advice. Well done. A hug from Portugal.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. With friendship Rui Baptista

Another very enjoyable reaction and analysis. This was Dimash's 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition, held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash, and a member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts.
Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh CZcamsr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. The final run is 21.73 seconds on one breath.
This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian/Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform, and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him.
