It wasn’t so long ago that Liverpool were once the most disrespected and joked club in England going through one of the roughest droughts and unsuccessful spells in history. If you could go back a few years in the past and tell a lifelong fan where their club would be at today, there’s no way they’d believe it. But after what looked like a potentially record breaking year, Liverpool have fell short of winning the premier league and champions league. Now, with important pieces of the club leaving and an uncertain future, are they really headed back down or will they continue to be one of the best? Let’s take a quick look at how the club once again came to greatness and see if they still have what it takes to make a push to the top. Leave a like if you enjoyed 🙏 ❤️ Love you all (

Dominant means consistenly overpowering the adversaries domestically and abroad. Since Man City won 4 PL and Liverpool 1, and Liverpool only won one 1 Champions League, they never had any dominance neither domestically or abroad.
The reference and where the bar is to be considered a dominant club is what Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester Uniited achieved since the 90's. At some point each of these clubs were winning domestically and being present in and winning CL finals. Any less than this is not considered "dominant". Not even Juventus who won 9 serie A in the past decade can be considered dominant as despite their usual presence in CL finals they managed to lose every final, hence also why Man City is also not dominant.

Quick note about the parade: it was already planned a few weeks before the last day of premiere league and would happen regardless of whether or not they won the prem or ucl, they never got to celebrate the league title in 2020 due to covid restrictions and it was also to celebrate the women's team promotion (and obviously they won 2 trophies so i don't get the argument that they didn't "deserve" a parade)

      yeah but here's the thing.
the FA Cup and League Cup were not our primary aim compared to the Premier League or the Champions League this season. these domestic cups are no longer that important anymore. The standards of this football club has changed since the 2017-18. a parade for winning both domestic cups a day after literally losing to Real Madrid (Klopp losing to Real Madrid for the 2nd time in a CL Final may i add) in the CL Final is quite bizarre.
i wouldn't call the season a ''failure'' but certainly not a great one. There is no trophy for finishing 2nd in the league AND runners-up in the Champions League.

Mane and Salah are the heart and soul respectively.
Mane was the heart. When Liverpool were down, struggling Mane always rose up and helped. He was the main reason for the 97 points and 92 points. Salah went on a costly drought those seasons and when we won Mane was the most pivotal piece. His pressing, winning pens, dangerous free kicks, tackles and in the hardest of games broke through. All of the trophies won under klopp PL, CL, SC, FA, Carling, Fifa Club WC you will see Mané's imprint on all of them. The only trophy he's got no prints on is Community Shield and fun fact he never played in the previous two losses.
Salah is the soul, when he's hot. He's deadly AF. Mindless elite scoring. Solid penalty taker, solid goal scorer. In those games were teams want to go punch for punch. Salah is mad good. His scoring is exquisite. All it takes is two passes and it's a goal. Him being the soul means it pivotal moments he doesn't perform. Sometimes he's unlucky like the injury in CL final, next season's CL semifinal. Those were extremely important games Mane was present in those moments Salah wasn't. Hence, Mane is the heart.
Klopp's greatest mistake was not fighting for Mane to stay. He believes Diaz, Jota, Nunez covers the hole of Mane leaving. Those boys don't have the heart. Salah looks lost, Robertson getting cut out, Van Dijk being mocked. The left was the strongest side defensively. Teams knew what side to attack they didn't mess with the left.
Some said Mane wanted to leave. No one wants to talk about Liverpool not wanting to pay Mane who was on 100K. They only offered him 150K to stay. He's on 250K at Bayern. How can't the great Liverpool match that?
What they did was take that 100K from Mane to add to Salah's 220K.
Klopp sign 2 LWs in Jota and Diaz in two season and no RWs in two seasons. I think you all know Klopp already chose even before Mane wanted to go.

but liverpool either think they are too good to pay him
or they really are that tight with their spending and would rather not break their pay structure even if it means returning back to be a club challangeing for 4th, being away from titles, league titles esp and cl titles
losing on a lot of fanbase worldwide, sponsers, deals, youtube views and media coverage as long as they get to keep that money that salah or others would have demanded

Iam not worried for a single bit, if the player come and went. I was half expecting Salah to announce his departure had Liverpool completed the quadruple. Salah definetly wants to win one more EPL or Champions League with Liverpool that how I feel. And Mane does come as a suprise. He got a new role and thriving. I guess left wing is his favourite spot. If he does leave.
Reasons is when Torres left, i thought who could be the talisman but Suarez came along. My love of Liverpool begin wIth Owen's rise and that has another departure in Steve Mcmannaman. And once in a comment section or a liverpool forum reminded me Keegan left and Daglish came in. Liverpool seems to be always able replace star players and usually it didnt take long.
I admit though our heroes didnt take long until another one comes through, it still took us 30years to finally win one. To that i think there is alot of what ifs. Like if Macca played along side Gerrard, Owen, Fowler and Murphy. Suarez and Torres partnership(Suarez deal was done way before Caroll) with Daglish as their manager.
Anyway with Klopp never doubt him, have been a believer since Europa League final. And to think a team that Brendan finish 8 with and was languishing in the mid-table before Klopp arrive.
It's a long one and already after 2020/2021, people have said liverpool worst reigning champion. Liverpool are exhausted, and they are in decline, but they manage to go 64 matches playing every final and the longest in the hunt for all throphies. I dont think the fall off. Another title challenge and for sure a deep UCL run, while still having 1-2 new players adjusting.
