It wasn’t so long ago that Liverpool were once the most disrespected and joked club in England going through one of the roughest droughts and unsuccessful spells in history. If you could go back a few years in the past and tell a lifelong fan where their club would be at today, there’s no way they’d believe it. But after what looked like a potentially record breaking year, Liverpool have fell short of winning the premier league and champions league. Now, with important pieces of the club leaving and an uncertain future, are they really headed back down or will they continue to be one of the best? Let’s take a quick look at how the club once again came to greatness and see if they still have what it takes to make a push to the top. Leave a like if you enjoyed 🙏 ❤️ Love you all (

Successful = win
Dominant = consistently good or at the top
could you do how good was the ribery and robben duo?
Dominant means consistenly overpowering the adversaries domestically and abroad. Since Man City won 4 PL and Liverpool 1, and Liverpool only won one 1 Champions League, they never had any dominance neither domestically or abroad.
The reference and where the bar is to be considered a dominant club is what Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester Uniited achieved since the 90's. At some point each of these clubs were winning domestically and being present in and winning CL finals. Any less than this is not considered "dominant". Not even Juventus who won 9 serie A in the past decade can be considered dominant as despite their usual presence in CL finals they managed to lose every final, hence also why Man City is also not dominant.
@@miguelrosado6348 agree , Man City was play better agaisnt Real than Liverpool
Tell me where liverpool was dominant and successful… in PL, in europe past 5 yrs, 10yrs, 20yrs, 30yrs dont tell be before 30yrs. i think its all in you head 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@littlefinger8370 I didn't say that Man City is better or more dominant than Liverpool because they it better against Real. In terms of dominance both never had dominance because both had each other in the Premier League and in the Champions League Real Madrid is the dominant one.
Imo the biggest loss Liverpool would incur is loosing klopp. Klopp is their best ever signing. He can get other talents , struggle for a year and then dominate once more
Klopp would be much more difficult to replace than mo and sadio. As long as he's there ,there's hope

Klopp’s Liverpool is certain the club’s golden age since it entered the premier league, that’s for sure. Dominant is a bit of a stretch, but the amount of accomplishment Klopp achieved with LFC should be commended.
If I were to call it successful would it make more sense? I feel like dominant doesn’t necessarily mean always sinning, just like one of the top or best
@@RaymarFootball yeah, successful made more sense for me :)

Quick note about the parade: it was already planned a few weeks before the last day of premiere league and would happen regardless of whether or not they won the prem or ucl, they never got to celebrate the league title in 2020 due to covid restrictions and it was also to celebrate the women's team promotion (and obviously they won 2 trophies so i don't get the argument that they didn't "deserve" a parade)
yeah but here's the thing.
the FA Cup and League Cup were not our primary aim compared to the Premier League or the Champions League this season. these domestic cups are no longer that important anymore. The standards of this football club has changed since the 2017-18. a parade for winning both domestic cups a day after literally losing to Real Madrid (Klopp losing to Real Madrid for the 2nd time in a CL Final may i add) in the CL Final is quite bizarre.
i wouldn't call the season a ''failure'' but certainly not a great one. There is no trophy for finishing 2nd in the league AND runners-up in the Champions League.

it's cool that we won the League Cup and FA Cup but come on now, most big teams don't give two shits for the domestic cups.
@@jayzzojay2777 so you are saying that winning the League Cup is a big deal for the big teams?
To say Liverpool have ever been dominant with Klopp is a farce. Madrid winning 3 champions league in a row is dominance, Man City winning 4/5 past leagues is dominance.
Sure this Liverpool side is great but by no means can you call them dominant

I have always admire Liverpool! Good video! The wait for new video is a bit long!
THE 3-0 AGAINST BRIGHTON WAS SO BAD
Well, that aged nicely
Mane and Salah are the heart and soul respectively.
Mane was the heart. When Liverpool were down, struggling Mane always rose up and helped. He was the main reason for the 97 points and 92 points. Salah went on a costly drought those seasons and when we won Mane was the most pivotal piece. His pressing, winning pens, dangerous free kicks, tackles and in the hardest of games broke through. All of the trophies won under klopp PL, CL, SC, FA, Carling, Fifa Club WC you will see Mané's imprint on all of them. The only trophy he's got no prints on is Community Shield and fun fact he never played in the previous two losses.
Salah is the soul, when he's hot. He's deadly AF. Mindless elite scoring. Solid penalty taker, solid goal scorer. In those games were teams want to go punch for punch. Salah is mad good. His scoring is exquisite. All it takes is two passes and it's a goal. Him being the soul means it pivotal moments he doesn't perform. Sometimes he's unlucky like the injury in CL final, next season's CL semifinal. Those were extremely important games Mane was present in those moments Salah wasn't. Hence, Mane is the heart.
Klopp's greatest mistake was not fighting for Mane to stay. He believes Diaz, Jota, Nunez covers the hole of Mane leaving. Those boys don't have the heart. Salah looks lost, Robertson getting cut out, Van Dijk being mocked. The left was the strongest side defensively. Teams knew what side to attack they didn't mess with the left.
Some said Mane wanted to leave. No one wants to talk about Liverpool not wanting to pay Mane who was on 100K. They only offered him 150K to stay. He's on 250K at Bayern. How can't the great Liverpool match that?
What they did was take that 100K from Mane to add to Salah's 220K.
Klopp sign 2 LWs in Jota and Diaz in two season and no RWs in two seasons. I think you all know Klopp already chose even before Mane wanted to go.
Who tf is going to read that
🚮 Most people like you have no respect for Salah.
I must say your mini documentaries on whole teams are your stronger videos. This one 9/10 top video

Brighton and Hove Albion dominating the CL
Dominance? What dominance? One PL title and one CL title is good, but it's nowhere near dominance.
It pained my heart to see the post was removed on the first time. Great stuff right here.
It’s kind of ironic how their dominance started after they lost to real in the 2017/18 ucl final and how their dominance may end after they lost the ucl final again to Real Madrid.
truly ironic
What's also ironic, terrible in the 2018 champions League final and Madrid was an ok team
Then roll on 2022 we should have been half-time 6 nil up at least against a terrible Madrid team
But are front 3 were terrible, Henderson & Thiago were also very terrible

The downfall of ManUtd began with ol’ red nose leaving. Little to do with Ronaldo IMO.

Sure, this summer is full of concerns and uncertainties. But knowing Klopp and the way this club has been operating over the past few years, lets say I would'nt bet any money against Liverpool next season.
Liverpool's recruitment has been nothing short of amazing. They have a good system going on right now and to say they're going to crash and burn the next year is a little bit of a stretch. One thing is for certain, never underestimate this team and Klopp, they're not a 2-player team.
The whole of Liverpool central midfield is pants
When losing one of our best goal scorers

Liverpool will come back even stronger this coming season. What Klopp has done up to now has been incredible, especially given the squad he inherited. As per usual we will challenge on all fronts. Klopp's approach is more about building a team with players who have little reputation before playing for him. I also suspect players who are great under him, won't be as great under other management. So i don't think it will be too big of a problem for Liverpool to continue challenging for titles.

liverpool to me has always been a side that has a good generation here and there but mostly a top 4 side, the past few years they had a true superstar that they can build on, you wanna make this guy happy and keep him in your team because you will probaby have a chance as long as he is there and you can build around him
but liverpool either think they are too good to pay him
or they really are that tight with their spending and would rather not break their pay structure even if it means returning back to be a club challangeing for 4th, being away from titles, league titles esp and cl titles
losing on a lot of fanbase worldwide, sponsers, deals, youtube views and media coverage as long as they get to keep that money that salah or others would have demanded
man, seems very bad when it's phrased like that
, big clubs just pay the true superstars, imgaine if real and barca told messi or ronaldo to leave when they were 29 and asking for a new contract

I just think they need a big and GOOD Number 9 as a sub to score headers when the front three is not working, just like in the 2022 final when Real Madrid is defending so well, you need someone with air prowess to make something happen, just change the style a little bit.
nice video
When Mane and Salah went to Afcon, Liverpool did well enough. I don't see them stopping until klopp is gone.
Flash forward to October 2022 and Liverpool have only managed 10 points from 8 games with zero sign of any improvement. Nobody could have seen this coming after the last few seasons but you predicted it.

if liverpool lose both Mane and Salah, they still have Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota and will probably bring in one or two forwards for rotation. i think as long as they keep their back 4 intact, keep Alisson, and keep Fabinho, they'll still continue to perform well in the PL. and Klopp signed an extension so yeah.
neither Jota nor Diaz are good at RW they never scored or assisted. LW is easy to find but if you think about it Salah is the only good RW after Messi flop this season
Yeah Klopp is the key ingredient. But performing well ain’t sufficient. Hate or not but city is just too mighty now a days to fall second to a team which performs just well. To match city, Liverpool needs to be brilliant and then some. I mean how can a team with 90+ points lose. That’s unheard of.
I felt sorry for Liverpool losing the Champions League final.. but one team was stronger, and had more skills (especially in defensive positions, thanks to Carvajal and Courtois mostly...) than the other. Jürgen Kloop should continue, and keep fighting. Liverpool is a badass team, and they can aim for good trophies :)

Klopp had to get them all to be 'asthematic' so they could all be prescribed steroids that relax the airways so they can keep up that high pressing tempo for longer.

Salbutamol is not an anabolic steroid, it is an asthmatic medicine, and it is extremely common in aerobic-based sports.
We were encouraged to take asthma inhalers with us to football matches in high school, every team was doing it, and this was high school football.
As a Liverpool fan, we didn’t really dominate anything. It’s honestly just Man City. Any other time in football we would have one the Prem and easily do a domestic treble. They can just splash cash and sign anyone. That’s my response. It’s fax and you know it.

Iam not worried for a single bit, if the player come and went. I was half expecting Salah to announce his departure had Liverpool completed the quadruple. Salah definetly wants to win one more EPL or Champions League with Liverpool that how I feel. And Mane does come as a suprise. He got a new role and thriving. I guess left wing is his favourite spot. If he does leave.
Reasons is when Torres left, i thought who could be the talisman but Suarez came along. My love of Liverpool begin wIth Owen's rise and that has another departure in Steve Mcmannaman. And once in a comment section or a liverpool forum reminded me Keegan left and Daglish came in. Liverpool seems to be always able replace star players and usually it didnt take long.
I admit though our heroes didnt take long until another one comes through, it still took us 30years to finally win one. To that i think there is alot of what ifs. Like if Macca played along side Gerrard, Owen, Fowler and Murphy. Suarez and Torres partnership(Suarez deal was done way before Caroll) with Daglish as their manager.
Anyway with Klopp never doubt him, have been a believer since Europa League final. And to think a team that Brendan finish 8 with and was languishing in the mid-table before Klopp arrive.
It's a long one and already after 2020/2021, people have said liverpool worst reigning champion. Liverpool are exhausted, and they are in decline, but they manage to go 64 matches playing every final and the longest in the hunt for all throphies. I dont think the fall off. Another title challenge and for sure a deep UCL run, while still having 1-2 new players adjusting.
It is confirmed
Hala madrid
Make a video about Manchester United, perhaps saying how long it will take for them to be champions of the Premier League and Europe.
liverpool's season was a great season defined by the ending of the season. to think they would go down would be foolish. I think in the next 2 3 years liverpool will hit their prime
Liverpool prime already happened. 2018/19 to 2019/20. They finished the league with 97 points but just finished 2nd by 1 point, but they won the Champions League that year. Next year they won the Premier league with 99 points and recorded the longest win streak in PL history that season (tied with Man City with 18 straight matches won). 97 and 99 points in 2 consecutive years eipremier league and UCL and records broken. They had an amazing prime.
One lucky chance?
What game was this dude watching…one wrongfully disallowed Benzema goal & a Casemiro open goal miss
Dude is probably just a Liverpool fan trying to find excuses for their losses
Afcon ruined Salah he lost the final and never recovered his form when he came back. Team will be fine without Mane and Salah their spine is Kloop.
salah poor form started few weeks before afcon. Salah has always been this inconsistent (this season was worse) starts the season strongly then a huge dip in mid season then recovers his form a bit(still nowhere near his start of the season form) at end of the season.
2nd place in both of the hardest cups in football that must feel really good, but I still feel bad, because they lost 2 Finals in less than a week and losing any chances of any player of winning the Ballon' on' Dor.
Even if they back out for a year or two I'm sure Jurgen will make a dominant squad once again
