Our hair is so similar but my hair would not have the same result... My hair would be a soggy mess if I did this 🤔... Lightly dampening my hair jus makes my hair puffy. Its so confusing at times coz it seems like my hair jus doesn't stay moisturised no matter what I try 😭
Ooh it sounds like you're hair is moisture overloaded but dry. Try a bentonite clay mask. People say it helps when their hair is acting up

No it doesn't have to be clean, and I do it like maybe twice a week, but it depends on how dry your hair is x
