yeah, you spotted the half team and they tell you: "GOOOO SPOT LIGHT USELESS IDIOT". I write then something like that: Yep, I go and waste my tank like all the other light players out there. Sometimes you have a few 1000 spot already when they start to flame you. And then you look and they have 46% win rate.

Huh? I used to fight tiers 10 in that thing buddy, lol, that thing was a beast before they took the howitzer but now it's useless due to the HE nerf even with it.

@@kutejikashi1959 oh also, Blitz is probably much better becouse most the premiums are just alternatives to their techree counterparts (Annihilator and Smasher not counted, becouse WG intended them to be broken becouse 1st of all Smasher was really expensive, so they didnt wanted to dissapoint the players, and Annihilator was a Premium, and it was released in halloween which is the op tank season, and at least in Blitz, WG doesnt allow themselfs to buff or nerf premium tanks, plus it was never sold again) take for example Progetto 46. on WoT its just an overall better P44 in every aspect, but in Blitz its main differance from P44 is the speed and the size. P44 has a overall better gun but is worsely armored meanwhile Progetto has a higher avg and top speed, as well as better turret armour to negate the worse gun stats.
So, now we have both. And a much better game overall. GH.

Use the stock gun on the MT-25. It's hilarious. Like an autoloader without clip reload. DPM is also good.
Well, people seem to forget what was the second reason why vk 28.01 was such a special tank these days. Not only thanks to its troll gun, but also thanks to the fact, that it was German, so it was heavy and with its speed it could ram other light into non-existence. I solely researched this vehicle just for the troll, and it was sad, when they removed it:/

i loved my DerpVK, took it every time over meta vehicles like the bromwells, 37s etc. managed to get the 3moe all the way to 100% with the derp. so it saddens me, even though i stopped playing the game... that///

I remember taking out an entire Black Prince in my VK28.01 back in 9.16.1 I think I aced the VK28.01 at least 10 times before WG nerfed it.

Ahh... Stealing VK.28.01's 105mm gun was the only reason of me complaining of changes in Light Tanks years ago.
I recommend you to go full dmg on this tank and play pretty aggressive with flanking maneuvers.
Also recomend you to improve it's RAMMING abillity as much as possible. This thing is heavy as shit i made today on the toilet, that could litterally ram to death any other light tank on its tier back in the day(now with the hp buffus it might be a little difficult but against lower tiers, why not?).
I used to play with HE only but not sure if it is still playable that way anymore.
The SP I C also lost its 3 round autoloader, the only thing that made its firepower somewhat decent.
Viele 28.01 is my Most played Tank. I loved it.

it was my 5th year playing wot in july (i started in july 2016) and i can tell you although the ammo is trash compared to what it used to be, it is super fun and i got 7 kills on my 5th game XD. Very fun tank

There is an old video from Edvans perspective where Zwhatsh gets 15k spotting in the Rheinmetall Panzerwagen on Prokhorovka. He basically parks in the typical light tank meme bush and lights up half the enemy team in a full tier 10 battle. And yet we somehow manage to lose. However, it would probably take us hours to find this clip. I think it's part of an old "Another Day in World of Tanks" episode, but not sure. Sorry :(

I remember grinding this tank just for that 105mm and then when i unlocked it the gun was removed, worst things worse i didnt even get it in my garage when they were giving it away to old players, i have the super hellcat and the t 50 2
I have used this gun extensively on the tier 7 german medium. I have had awesome experiences and terrible ones in equal portions.
I used to love the VK28.01 with the derp gun back in the day. Glad I'm no longer playing WoT so I'm not tempted to try to get this piece of nostalgia-bait.
The amx 40 was the first tank on which i got a mastery badge ... for blocked damage.
I play this thing with a ramming setup, it is a beast. 300 dmg and then a ram vs their enemy lt
Its performing much better with ap for me. I almost always face light tanks or the behinds of tanks. Heat and HE get absorbed to often in my opinion.
I mean this tank can be fun, but those moments are super rare.... I managed to hit a bourrasque in its rear on the move at like 400 meters. After that i died in like 5 seconds, but that's beside the point :P
zwhatsh is a real gamer, he only fires HE, and i find this tank pretty pog and balance: firing HE and not HEAT is actually better because you will at least do dmg even if you don't pen like Edvin

Were gonna get the tank tomorrow , the 25th.
And no i have never found a strat to reliably play that tank, but it made fun occasionally blasting lightly armored guys or Heavy asses and it also was fun just doing 20-30 damage each shot. I played The jagdpanzer 6 like this until i got the best gun on that tank, tbh it wasnt as painful as playing the stug gun on it.
Though im honestly not looking forward playing it again, especially in light of the HE rework...

Hey AEG, since the Yoh tanks are being tested in PC version but has already been in Blitz for a while now, are you guys gonna do what DezGamez did and give them a try? And maybe Japanese TDs as well since we also have them.
We are very busy as it is to keep up with the new stuff added to the live server. This is just a hobby to us after all. Not a job. We usually don't even bother with test servers or covering news. We will probably just wait for the tanks to appear on the live server to have an opinion about them. We might give Blitz another go in the future though. But not anytime soon the way things currently look. We just don't have time :(

I set mine up for ramming and gun work. I don't spot in it, as it's terrible for that. A penetrating hit + a ram will take out any tier 6 tank. :D
I was less than 50xp away from earning a Mastery Badge on it the first time I played it. I was bummed. Now that more people are playing it, it's become much harder to get an Ace in it.

1. Idk about y'all but i use vents, gun rammer and optics with 28 he/14 heat/no AP cause AP just sucks.
2. In my opinion i think that the vk 105 is pretty good and funny to play compared to how sad the other reward tanks are...i litteraly sold them (s.hellcat/s.chaffe/t-50-2) cause they are not that special... s.chaffe=t37, t-50-2=mt-25, and if we can force it s.hellcat=Challenger...we dont have a light tanks with derp gun at that low tier.
3. Also about the HE rework...the only time when im mad is when i hit the gun mantle and deal 0 dmg...now you need to aim at soft places instead of "abusing" the old mechanic...like in the example with e100 causing a burning shoot to an s.conq when they shoot at the cupola...that was not oke in my opinion.
4. I found it funny when i hit an tier 8 ht for 30 dmg cause i just feel like an mosquito...ur just annoying them
5. You need to know the tank limits first...that why i already got an ace with 2.6k dmg/2.2k spoted in a tier 8 MM...i had luck, i will not deny that....but still, if you don't know the tank limt then ur just gonna die first.

I haven't played the new VK but I played the PZ4H with the same gun after the HE nerfs so I think I have a handle on how it behaves. It's an HE derp, why do you expect to snipe with it? And by the way it's a light, your first objective should be to spot. I know, I know in todays meta even lights can beat heavies and are expected to but for me the VK was always a scout with a great anti-scout gun. You can pen enemy lights with HEAT or some with HE. I'm looking forward playing this. (And btw have you played the tech tree variant? I'm pretty sure this derp deals more damage than that on average.)

Update six months later- this is the only tank I have ever achieved a Kolobanovs in. It's a lot of fun if you are top tier. But people don't play tier six much on NA so it's very rarely top tier.
