Yes. There's only an hour for a panel and yeah this host has a key role with these panelists in the company but that does not mean their good as a host. The host shouldn't be focused on pep talks or clapping and shouldn't talk much as she did.
she barely gave the actors any screen time, she literally stood infront of them or infront of cameras all the time instead of off to the side so people can see them speak shed always announce claps or go on rants about acting when the last actor just mentioned a brief discussion about it 5 seconds ago.. its like their rinse repeating the same words but with each person.. then at the end with the whole Feminism speech like ffs i could even see the guys in the Audience got bored after 10 minutes through and were using their phones or stopped clapping because it got annoying Dont get me wrong the Host is entertaining to a degree but using the word chicks and rad constantly its like shes forcing herself to seem hip/young. Just be yourself stop forcing yourself to say the same thing over and over its like a dead meme at this point cmon lol
I love her too, and right now, I’m trying to contact her so she can help me forgive Jaina. If I’m lucky, it may even get incorporated into Shadowlands.
Laura Bailey has such an amazing voice. Outve everyone here she is without a doubt my favorite. From Jaina, to trunks, to Rakshata, to Lucina, to Lust, to Maka, to Catherine, and finally Serah Farron
I couldn’t agree more. I’m very attracted to the women she’s voiced, but at the moment, I’m disillusioned by Jaina Proudmoore. Laura Bailey could be the only person who can truly help me.
Honestly I am a little disappointed they didn't have Chromie's voice actress if you think about it she has had involvement in more quests than any other female NPC in the game
Wow this was jaw dropping (for a player of wow since it came out) It hits you soo much harder when you see & here it in the flesh from the real people behind it. Something very deep there guys. The quality of those voices & characters is crazy. Stoked to see this clip.
What an annoying host. You don't need to say powerful, strong, beautiful or rad woman every minute i'd argue one of the first things you should try to avoid when hosting anything is repeating a word too many times.
It's like "I was thinking they're strong and beautiful to begin with, but now that you're repeating it 1000x, I'm becoming suspicious. Are they particularly frail and fearful or something, or why do you feel the need to convince us so much?"
Yeah, I was not a big fan host as well. What killed it for me is that this is a panel, that means the people on the panel are the main attraction. I get that you need a certain level of hype and excitement, and the host does a good job working the crowd, but damn when the panels are speaking, you need to have a good 10-20 seconds of silence. She was probably nervous. I am sure that in person, everyone was pleased. So in that regard, the host did a good job. If you ever end up reading this (the host), please take this comment as constructive criticism.
drinking game...every time the hostess says "rad" or "chick" you have to do a shot. I'm 10 minutes in and I think I have to go to the ER for alcohol poisoning.
You have to take a shot also when she petitions the audience to clap for something insignificant. Also, anytime the topic of a full female panel is brought up.
Can anyone edit this video and make a version without this hostess? I find this topic so interesting, but it's simply IMPOSSIBLE to watch it. She don't let the actresses answer, always interrupting, asking for claps for the most stupid things, and faking enthusiasm. Gosh, I'm struggling to ignore her and watch the whole video because I love this topic, but it's really getting on my nerves.
it seems obvious she's on some sort of drug and also very nervous but I agree she was slightly annoying. I just didn't like hearing rad in every sentence.
Oh I absolutely agree, I couldn't watch past 15 minutes.. I really wanted to because of the actresses but this host is the absolute worst I've ever seen, sad.
Is it weird that I want to hug that old Lady Sylvanas? Like... she is voice acting for one of my fave game characters and... Just cause she sounds exactly like she should I want to hug her.
Amazing, 15min in and I have heard ”RAD” and ”POWERFUL” and ”STRONG” and ”BEAUTIFUL” more than I have ever heard in my 25 years... serious headache now...
Played WoW from the start and have always been Horde. I find it crazy how when I hear Sylvanas say most anything I can actually feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and chills run down my spine. The very words "For the Horde" bring tears to my eyes along with goosebumps down my arms ... I am 100% Horde!
This was a cool panel, I loved seeing all the female actors. Yet I have the feeling the host indirectly threatened people at Blizzard that she'd cause some social justice drama if she didn't get to host a panel about these women.
@@matthewjamesmjw4172. Not sure you got the point of what Eric said. She literally said at about 25 min in that she's never had all women, it's usually men at these things. And to have everyone clap every 2 min seemed to get really annoying to the crowd.

OMFG, PLEASE blizzard, use a different presenter next year, this freaken woman killed the experience, I have played WOW for so long and was looking forward to see who the actors are, but she killed it, and made me quit watching after 5 min. :(
Hosts need to understand that the show is not about them, it's about the voice actors, the guests. That's what the people came for. Really annoying indeed. Super distracting.
It doesn't matter because the loud, obnoxious, old bitch never shuts up long enough to let the voice actors themselves ACTUALLY speak. She constantly cuts them off or talks over them and talks about her thoughts, opinions, etc. She is awful. I tried watching it live back in Nov and after 25 minutes she had me screaming and cussing at the screen for her to STFU. I had to turn it off.
Letting them talk to each other, or each telling a story about how they got there would have been far better than the host trying to turn it into some sort of Lilith Fair, or something.
Gosh, Andrea was very drunk which undercut the whole message. If you have to be drunk to go on stage, maybe hand the mike to someone else. We came for the ladies of Warcraft, not to hear Andrea move her mouth. Misty Lee, thank you so much. Thank you for being a companion on my adventures, for being a voice of comfort in an alien world. Hearing your voice makes me brave. Thank You Patty Matson as well. Ever since Warcraft 3, Sylvanas has been one of my favorite characters and one I really connected to. The first time I cried in a game was the moment when Arthas resurrected her as a banshee, and I could barely bring myself to continue the game. Now all these years later I’m crying again, finding out why. I too was abused as a child, and your voice is for me the voice of my own pain. When I was younger and adults didn’t talk about “scary” things with me: Sylvanas was the only one who shared my pain, the only example I had for how to deal with it. Now I am proud to call her Warchief and stand at her side, looking to the horizon as a new day dawns FOR THE HORDE!!!
When you want to hear a table of ladies talk but only hear the one walking around the stage. They needed to have the mic passed off or something. From start to finish it felt like it was all about the one lady
In patch 3.2 i belive, wotlk xpac. But before that i think they used in wow rehashes from The Frozen Throne game, I dont think old voice actress acually appeared in wow.
In Wrath of the Lich King. Before that it was Carrie Gordon-Lowrey. In WarCraft 3: Reign of Chaos, the Frozen Throne and for Jaina's one line in World of WarCraft.
Katrina Clagg very much agreed I think it only distracted from the actual skill of the women and pit more emphasis on their genitals rather than the content of their character.
Agree wholeheartedly. I am also a woman and a WoW player, and would be so much more interested in hearing about their characters, lore and the actual process of voice acting than a forced feminist agenda.
Its great to hear you say that because I hate to put so much responsibility on you but the world DESPERATLY needs more women like you. As the great Jordan Peterson points out at the end of the day men always lose when standing up to women, we can stand up to other men and either side could win but a guy will always lose, such as say a guy critiquing Hillary. So we basically need other women who are essentially immune from gender assaults by other women to stand up to antics and pandering like this and I know most girls by nature are especially shy and don't want to jump into the fray (most of us guys do because we are built to charge and attack often to our detriment lol), but we need women like YOU to stand up and be heard more. Its the only hope for a getting a measure of sanity back to the world these days. :)
You don't speak for every woman who plays WoW just because you are a woman who plays WoW so I don't even see the relevance in mentioning that. I'm also a girl who plays WoW and while I don't really consider myself a feminist anymore due to what mainstream feminism has turned into, I still believe in the fundamental ideology at its core. I've gotten plenty of hate on WoW for being a girl and have also dealt with plenty of morons who didn't take me seriously because of it so I really see no harm in trying to uplift girls who play WoW. You're lying to yourself if you think women aren't looked down upon by a majority of the gaming community. Tbh, I've found that there are a lot of women like you on WoW who groan and complain about stuff like this to pander to men who already think less of you. You're pretty much sitting in their echo chamber regurgitating their idiotic fallacies back to them. Not sure what you're gaining from that other than a sense of validation. And before someone whines about me "generalizing" men as a whole -- no, I'm specifically talking about men/gamers who look down upon women, so if this is not you -- I have no idea why my comment would bother you. Maybe go take a walk and rethink your feelings.
I was born in Scotland, lived here all my life. Born in Glasgow, the south side. It would have been great if Blizz let her do a Weegie accent. It would have been more fitting a think. :D xx
This was cool but man.. The host was all like, ''women-this, women-that'' as if being a woman, or a man should really matter in anything? Really, I get all the feminist and powerful woman stuff, its all good stuff and more power to you, but honestly.. Does it really need that much of an emphasis? Should it? Why? The way I see it is woman or man, it doesn't really matter.. It should be equal, and it will never be equal if you -need- to put emphasis on it everytime.. It will only be real and equal if it is mentally real to you.. It need to be a ''it doesn't matter'' situation, because it shouldn't matter.
Perhaps you see it that way, which is great, but sadly a lot of people do not see it that way, and that is nothing other than reality. It's actually very evident in these comments, whether people realize it or not. So that's probably why women like her put so much emphasis on feminism and the like.
That may be so, for me it doesn't matter, man or woman, its equal, I dont judge based on gender. But I feel that the host had to much emphasis on it that it boiled down to ''look what she have done, such a powerful woman'' instead of ''look what this INDIVIDUAL have done, such a powerful personality!''
Athena Laliana I agree with vega vega completely. But I think you live in your own reality. Most man don't hate women and the comments you are referring to are saying the same thing vega said but in fewer words. Men on comment sections (for the most part) don't hate women, they are annoyed with manhaters spitting at men while covering by feminism which they have nothing to do with.
What most feminists don't fucking understand is they aren't vying for equality, they are vying for superiority. When you draw too much attention to one gender or another, you're promoting it at the expense of the other. This is NOT what equality means. If the host mentions female power 100 times, she's vying for superiority, not equality. If she equally promoted men and women, she'd be sending a message of equality instead.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the announcer the voice of the dryads? The long "Hiiiii" when Mara Junot entered the stage was almost a complete giveaway
I appreciate the enthusiasm of the host. I cannot say that I would have even been capable of talking in front of Laura Baley but STILL. I listened to this while I played the game and I felt like I heard the host with the "lets clap lets clap again" stuff so much that I couldnt even register what the actual voice actors were saying. I appreciate that she is enthusiastic but maybe she should dial it back just a smidge so that the content she is presenting has room to breathe.
The host is the Voice-over Director so it's good for her to be here. If you can't stand her long-winded prattling, just click through the video like present day in Ironforge during Winter Veil.
Damn, did they really have to push the whole feminist act so hard? We know they are women, we know they are awesome, stop trying to shove it down our throats.
Where's the " Ever wondered who are the male voices in WoW?" I thought this whole movement crap was about equa- Oh, so there is no equality in feminism.
I honestly can't tell if you're joking or if you're actually inept enough to believe that comparing two false equivalences somehow makes them equal. Men already have so much representation in WoW, the fact that you even thought of this and are bothered by it is amazing. Also, I hope you leave the same type of comments under videos that exclude women :-)
Men have more representation in wow because the majority of gamers are male. It's literally as simple as that, Athena. There are plenty of empowering characters of both genders. Please stop turning everything into an us-or-them. If women want equality then for starters they need to be treated LIKE men, not superior to men. A voice panel on both male and female actors = equal. A panel on only one gender = unequal. It's really, quite literally, that simple. You can puff it up in any way you like -- it's LITERALLY that simple.
What's with the host? She's trashy and repeatedly degrades herself and women. Not impressed with this. And she's a director at Blizzard? OMG She needs more training and education.

You know, it's funny, but I get the sense that people come to voice actor panels to HEAR THE VOICE ACTORS
Naw, they wanna hear about how "powerful" and "rad" the panel is over and over and how the host has goosebumps from it.
This is virtue signalling it is not for the gamers.

Letting them talk to each other, or each telling a story about how they got there would have been far better than the host trying to turn it into some sort of Lilith Fair, or something.
Wow this hostess is so hip and rad. Im so inspired i cant contain myself. Im so excited this is great..omg im so excited.
Grrrl Power!!
Wow I don't think this comment aged well with what Sylvanas did...
Its just a game though. :/
I salute you Debi Mae West
Laura Bailey is a beast - she has over 1000 credits I think that go all the way back to Trunks from DBZ.
I’m trying to contact her. I need her help in terms of a character she voices who I’m refusing to forgive. And no, it isn’t Abby.
LOVED seeing the voice actresses say lines! BEST part! More of THEM, less of the host (sorry). Most questions from the audience next time too!
The cringe level in this video is so high that I actually became a woman by the end of the video.
"rad" 'all" "chicks" this announcer is a feminist
When you want to hear a table of ladies talk but only hear the one walking around the stage. They needed to have the mic passed off or something. From start to finish it felt like it was all about the one lady
The count for the words - girl, women and chicks has to be in the 100's. I just want to hear them do voice lines.
I AM WOMEN I AM POWERFUL WEHEEEE REEEEEEE RESPECT ME
OONKA DOONKA ME BIG SHTRONG MAN ME MAD AND ANGWY AT WOMANZ COZ DEY LUV THEMSELVZ AND NO ME
I see you got the joke, Athena :)
sdsdaddas Sad!
RESPEK WHAMEN
LMAO
When did the Jaina voice actress change
A while ago
In patch 3.2 i belive, wotlk xpac. But before that i think they used in wow rehashes from The Frozen Throne game, I dont think old voice actress acually appeared in wow.
In Wrath of the Lich King. Before that it was Carrie Gordon-Lowrey. In WarCraft 3: Reign of Chaos, the Frozen Throne and for Jaina's one line in World of WarCraft.
She’s the best choice for Jaina. But I’m quite let down by the character. Even now I haven’t forgiven her.
I got chills when these talented ladies read their scripts....yum!
Sylvanas Voice wow just give me chills...
loved the voice actresses, but why, why, why did they have to push a feminist agenda?? I am a woman, I am a WoW player, and I found it cringy...
Yeah, keep your personal agenda out of this, this is for entertainment!
I care for no one on this panel except Misty Lee (Lady Liadrin). This lady is a badass
I got chills when sylvanas started talking
It need to be a ''it doesn't matter'' situation, because it shouldn't matter.
feminism is trash
Yeah....right.....yeah.....that's right......riiiiiight?!....yeah. Next time blizz... No side comments LET THE PANEL SPEAK.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the announcer the voice of the dryads? The long "Hiiiii" when Mara Junot entered the stage was almost a complete giveaway
i recognize all their voices and ive never played wow
But it's Rad don't cha know? So freaking Rad!
Ugh, this was painful to watch.
why cant jaina be as hot as the actress who plays her
because jaina is a cartoon???
cartoons can't be attractive? and you can't say no to that, because you know full well people do
The cringe....
How so? people have fantasies they can wish for what they want. you are the one who people should cringe over.
Aww, the protector of azeroth *cough* nerds, I mean nerds
I appreciate the enthusiasm of the host. I cannot say that I would have even been capable of talking in front of Laura Baley but STILL. I listened to this while I played the game and I felt like I heard the host with the "lets clap lets clap again" stuff so much that I couldnt even register what the actual voice actors were saying. I appreciate that she is enthusiastic but maybe she should dial it back just a smidge so that the content she is presenting has room to breathe.
I found it incredibly annoying. I get it, but damn, it comes across so cringe.
The host is the Voice-over Director so it's good for her to be here. If you can't stand her long-winded prattling, just click through the video like present day in Ironforge during Winter Veil.
I heard Sylvanas and I almost fainted :O
FOR THE HORDE !!!
daamm all the voice actress are so gorgeous :P love their work ^^ keep working with all of them Blizz!! JAINA FOREVER!! ;^P
She forget to say "i love you" and "im so excited".
Cringe host
*This lesbian host is soo cringy! The star tattoos on her hands, the constant refering to them as beautiful/hot stuff/...*
Eh. You shoulda heard her raging boner for Darin, the overwatch voice actor.
Good thing, I didn't watch that! FYI half of that panel look like die hard lesbians :)
Is lesbian supposed to be an insult? Or is it just you trying to be edgy.
If you think she's straight, then you're just plain dumb...
janjan55555 honestly who cares. Lesbian is not the insult you seem to think it is lol.
this was sooo rad :p
aside from the hosting it's still cool to put a face to the character.
Damn, did they really have to push the whole feminist act so hard? We know they are women, we know they are awesome, stop trying to shove it down our throats.
Where's the " Ever wondered who are the male voices in WoW?" I thought this whole movement crap was about equa-
Oh, so there is no equality in feminism.
Never was. The very first act of feminism was to "free" themselves from the (as they wanted: All-male) obligation of the draft.
its the truth... =/
Chris Metzen. There, end of story.
You can puff it up in any way you like -- it's LITERALLY that simple.
yeah, this hasn't gone anywhere in 15 minutes....can't take it anymore rip potientally good video.
man, this was rad
What's with the host? She's trashy and repeatedly degrades herself and women.
Not impressed with this. And she's a director at Blizzard? OMG She needs more training and education.
Most of them are just mediocre in my opinion but Lady Sylvanas just take the cake. She really nails it every time.
Lady Liadrin is Paul Dini's wife? That's amazing. It gives me a bunch of Belfadin pride.
I heard Paul Dini used her as inspiration when he designed Zatanna for Batman: The Animated Series.
I had no idea Laura Bailey voice acted in WoW.
I’ve known for a while.
