I had a few good evenings and days in May (when this was recorded). Supposedly some more on the way. I injured my back and haven't ridden much in the last month so fingers crossed!

I've tried the Sony ECM-LV1 (not on any videos I've uploaded). Sound quality was great but the gain is too high, which causes too many problems. I ordered the Purple Panda yesterday. Fingers crossed!
Generally on TV presenters have their eye level at about 2/3 to 3/4 up the screen, so having the road vanishing point at about 3/4 level works well . With less sky and a bit more Z, you feel a bit more connected . So yes better angle.
Afternoon CB 😊 the camera angle is just how I like it, and the sound is spot on . Purple Panda mic are very good and I would definitely recommend them. Don't go on my videos though 😊👍
I’ve never seen a red kite or the other one you mentioned. Are they anything like a Keruru of perhaps a Kaka ?? Anyway, the camera angle is jolly good mate.
Thanks! They are very large birds of prey. The red kite can have a wingspan of nearly 6 feet. Their numbers were really low for a while but seem to be recovering. They're an impressive bird. We also get buzzards, another massive bird of prey with a wingspan of up to 4 1/2 feet.

Angle looks ok Richard I’ve always used the purple panda microphones but takes some sorting with the length of the cable 👍
