  • The CS-4510 from Echo is a solid mid size saw for casual to medium duty. It has good power and torque for its weight and is an overall great value for it's price. Echo went back to the drawing board and made several upgrades and design changes for the CS-4510 compared to their previous line up of chainsaws. They built this saw to be easy to start, easy to use, and not wear you out from using it. And don't forget that this saw comes with Echo's 5 year consumer warranty.

    I got this saw more than a year ago. I love it. Haven't had any problems since. Always starts from hot and cold. I can agree that it is a bit heavy, especially with occasional use.

    If it's as reliable and holds up as well as the CS-400, then it's a good saw!

    Good looking chainsaw with some good features. I might have to pick up one of these to replace an old Stihl 025.

    Just bought one. It didn’t want to start that easy. Once I got it started it worked well. What is the secret to starting the Echo CS4510?

    I have this saw and it's kinda heavy for a 45cc saw it should be called the Timber Bear. It's a good saw , goes through underbrush like it's nothing and even 15 to 18 inch oak logs without a problem. The bar sometimes builds up chips and doesn't oil properly only downside . Keep your bars clean...🤔🇺🇸

      Good feedback. What size bar are you running on your CS4510?

      It's a perfectly balanced cranks phenomenal and does the job Evey time. ."My dad said get that one it looks like a better saw", while at the Shelby hardware store and he was right. I've run stihl most my life. This saw is great. I thought I had passion for chainsaws before now I'm I full blown echo cutting maniac. Can't wait to get my hands on the cs-3510. The antivibe on the 4510 is probably the best I've ever felt. With powerful 45cc strato engine it's great at fuel consumption. Always a good thing.

      Thanks for the feedback! Here's some info that might help you get a good deal on the CS-4510 and almost all Echo equipment this time of the year. Look for Echo dealers doing an Echo One Day Sales Event. This is a promotion Echo does with qualifying dealers and allows the dealer to sell most Echo products at 15% off of MSRP. Yeah the Echo CS-4510 doesn't get near the appreciation that it should. Most people opt for the CS-400 when they're shopping for an Echo saw. But for the money and the increased power and torque I'd go with the CS-4510 every time.

    • @obeconoberougle9497
      @obeconoberougle9497 Před 4 lety

      The CS400 is about a lb lighter making it a better choice for a limbing saw and tree climbers. One lb doesn't sound like much, but if running a saw all day it makes a big difference.

    • @mrtree1368
      @mrtree1368 Před 3 lety

      @@obeconoberougle9497 you wouldn't use a cs 400 for limbing trees you would use a top handle saw . But the 400 isn't a bad saw to cut some wood but if you were a tree climber going from a chainsaw with a 12 to 14 inch bar then the next Saw you would want to use would be around 16 to 18 to 20 inches the cs 400 wouldn't handle a bigger bar like the cs 4510 would so as a tree climber I would want what would cut threw would faster but if u don't have a cs 4510 then yea a cs 400 is ur next best option

      @@obeconoberougle9497 I would never use the cs400 for climbing a tree lol I use top handle saws. There was only one time I too the cs3510 up the tree with me but that was because I forgot my top handle saw on the job

      @@jimbauer5560 directional line sites on the starter recoil housing. It's usually a North, East, South, West lines similar to a scope on a gun that allows you to point the saw and cut the face cut of the tree in the direction in which you want the tree to fall. They are for aiming the fall of the tree.

    Last you longer? How? They made the entire thing plastic... They are cheapening up their entire line which is a shame because the the old cs450p was a great little saw.
