I was fortunate to be here. As with many support acts, people tend to talk during the performance. However, I was pleasantly surprised that approximately half way through the first song, the people around me previously engaged in chatter, fell silent and just listened. You won them over. I have been to a lot of concerts over the years and that doesn’t occur so often.
I have been playing the two singles on Spotify and have fallen in love with Lorelei. The production is stellar, your voice being allowed to shine whilst the instrumentation breezes along without ever stealing the limelight - less is more, right? I particularly love the warmth of the Wurlitzer - or at least I think it is a Wurlitzer and the brief break at 3:27 is heaven.
I am excited for the album. Hopefully get to see you guys again if you ever play in Germany.
