Kev
I am 57 years old.
Is it just me or does this little bike have a mad max look. Lol
I love the options.
It definitely does
@@KevCentral ( So many possibilities, now if I could just leave well enough alone-have a Friend with that same afflication)
Pretty cool, but I'll think I'll wait for the Mother Fucare. Should be stellar!
đ
And here I was going to say something about how it needs Fooker pedals, but have been outclassed.
Will it have 26" tires!đ
@@kevinmccune9324 Only a true Mother would.

Of all the epeds you've reviewed, I think this is the first one that I could see myself riding.
Love the addition of electric bikes on the channel! Keep it up :)
Top class review once again Kev thank you.
Love the look of this thing and the racks/baskets are awesome.
I can see myself buying this one for work commutes accross town..like the styling also..again a awesome review kev.
Glad to see someone that I feel I can trust has reviewed this bike.
I've been eyeballing this for a bit, but now, Mokwheel has come out with 2 models that will easily compete, until their prices increase.
Get it, love mine so much I bought my daughter the step through which is equally awesome. The X is more my style though. I would jump on it if you can, my bet is you wont be able to get them for long once word gets around. Amazon 3-4 day delivery in the statesđ
I want one, that is my kinda bike, thanks KevCentral for another great review
I got my Gemini X a couple of weeks ago. Great looking ebike, I got the pannier bags on it. Get tons of compliments on the look of the bike. Also the customer service is great. I had a couple different questions and they answered my email within a day.
I want one! ...but can't afford one. I love the design of it as well, the industrial look while still looking fairly sleek. That's borderline an electric motorcycle, and I love that idea. Too bad they're still slightly on the high price point, even though is definitely one of the more affordable ones.
Oh my. I LOVE the way this eBike looks! If there was ever one Iâd buy, this would be it. I love it! The price seems decent for the value.
I love mine. Best looking ebike so far.
Very nice. Thank you.
I enjoyed this review, I'm doing my homework for doing this myself. So far you have the best pronunciation of the brand.
Oooooooooohhh! Ducati trellis style frame đđ
Ordered this for Christmas, more after unwrapping & setup.
NICE BIKE!.....I am 6'1" 240 and this looks a big rider won't look "silly" on this
Omg this looks like a fun bike!
The Gemini X is an amazing bike. I bought one for myself and just Ordered the step through version for my daughter. I put a soft seat on the rack which my 6yr old can ride on with my fat butt still hitting over 20-25mph loaded down. Bang for your buck hard to beat. Definitely getting the extra 15amp batteries for them. Overkill but why notđ
Howâs the seat?
Is it alright for working out, I thought it was a torque sensor but it's cadence
Iâd definitely like that bike! I really like the open tubular design. And that is I the best looking screen Iâve seen on a EBike.
Like the dual batteries and the moped look good for commuting to work awesome bikeđđ
Very nice bike. Plenty of great features and very fair price!
Hi Kev, Maybe Fucare was listening because my Gem X came with the 180mm brake rotors and front fender lower support.
This bike is built like a tank. Keep up the good work with the realistic reviews.
I like it, but some of those welds could use some tidying up.
its looks like a great fun bike to ride
add on the baskets and can probably do all the grocery shopping too
The open framework reminds me of the Italajet Dragster from the '90s.
Very nice review. I also like the seat adjustability for this type of bike, Really good price point for all that it offers!
I got this bike a few weeks ago. I live in San Francisco and is powerful and climb the hills really good almost like there not there and is a blast to ride
That trellis frame is đ„đ„đ„đ„.
Good looking machine
Since most e bikers don't shift at all, I can see why companies save money on those finger shifters. Those tires look like they belong on a motorcycle, love them!
Yep... I don't . I leave mine in seven and that's it.
Must admit I do like the look of that frame, it's like a bike equivalent of an aerial atom đ€Ł, and I am looking at it thinking could you do anything crazy with it, like installing bigger wheels, by changing the forks and making it more like a MTB, would look crazy on the trails, like something from mad Max đ€Łđ€Ł
This bike is cool!! Itâs got a Ducati flair to it!The handle bars are almost ape hangers! Donât have a need for this but Iâd love to have one!!
Great Design and Very Strong! But, My vote is for the Fucare Libra đ Thanks for the heart Kev.
My old bones need the full suspension and the Libra has a lot to offer for $1299!
This is the kind I've bike I've always wanted. I would be interested in a long durability test
Good review. I'd like to see this same bike with 24 X 2.0 tires and the choice of one battery (10 or 15 a-h) for $1400 or so. The welds look strong so are OK, but not well laid down IMO.
cool 'terminator' looking frame.
Ahhh, how did you know I was wanting to increase my stable. đđ
I see alot of inspiration was taken from bmx style ergonomics
Cool bike.
Love the riskey name.
Aside from being cheap and reliable those Mickey Mouse shifters are common because they make installation of a throttle on the right possible. Many shifters have the bulk of the body where it could inhibit throttle cabling.
They let you down shift all your gears at once
@@soandsononame8750 That is a plus. Maybe not for the drivetrain though.
I find it odd that when u go to add bike to cart it asks if u want to add a 15ah battery... definitely confusing if it does not work
@@patrickstroup9347 Would be odd to sell an e-bike without a battery. Are you sure it's not an upgrade or spare battery? I've always done DIY so buying a battery separately was common.
@@michaelsprinzeles4022 posted on wrong thread.. but my question was it comes with 2 10 amp hour batteries integrated into bike and asks if you would like to add a 15 amp hour spare battery ... so I'm assuming u can run a 15 AH with a 10 AH and it will work fine
Getting the Gemini from Amazon this Friday. I live around a lot of rolling hills. Iâll definitely test it for 30° hill climbs.
Congrats
@@KevCentral It came early, i built it today. Itâs a BEAST!
Wondering how long the batteries will last? They are not Samsung but (Arun) type and the manufacturer states only good for 300 cycles and fucare only warranties the battery for 180 days. And how will this model deal with getting caught in a rain storm đ€ and for the money they give you no seat suspension system or rear suspension for this price!!They need to offer a off road tire package as well!!
Even the full basket set is really reasonably priced.
I wish somebody made a thick moped-like frame like this with a mid-drive powertrain
That's a pretty good bike and Below 2000 with an extra battery is not bad
Anyone find out the settings mode if u hold +&- for 3 seconds
Definitely looks the part. Looks a blast! I think I'd prefer this 'moped' style frame over the single tube frames that are around with fat tires, they remind me of wasps or hornets for some reason... big butts, tiny body.
I love my FucareGemini,I didn't get the X. Getting older so went w/the stepthru Gemini. Have ALL the upgrades accept for the 2 largest batteries for $599Ă2=$1,3oo+-:(
But have since found a guy who builds batteries for ebikes.
Says he can fit me 2 48/20ahĂ2 instead the 48/10.4ahĂ2 that comes w/it or the 48/15ahĂ2 UPGRADE$ offered. And for a lil less $$$$. Think he said $1,25o+-
It needs a gravel tire option most of my local roads are dirt.
VERY NICE , I would have liked to see mag rims instead of spokes to help add no maintenance
Convert!,I have had an ebike with Mags for awhile and I luv it!
To add extra information the the video, If you really need more range, you can sell the original batteries and commission to your local battery builder or a reliable online retailer 2 batteries with over 20ah each, extending even more your range. The middle of the frame there is a lot of space for a jumbo shark battery
The "self-balancing" is natural thing that every single batteries connected in parallel do by the law of physics and it's not a special feature.
Try to not buy on their website, Their batteries are over 100% the market price for a 48v battery with only 15ah capacity
I generally don't like the moped look of most modern ebike models, but this one looks great. Must be the cargo bike astethic that I like. It would be great if they offered a seat to mount on the rear so you could take a kid or 2 for a ride ala the Rad Power bikes.
The fucare Libre has the same specs with a rear bench. Comes in a couple of colors too.
You could put a big chainring on and it wouldnât run out of pedal until a higher speed
how to clear the trip odometer on this bike
I'm torn between this one and the Bee Cool Rambler. I like both styles, but the Rambler's rear rack is a $450 add-on but it has front and rear turn signals.
Thanks for posting in future anyone making story about eBay get to the point how much does it cost how fast will it go and how far will it go
So you get less power or less top speed with throttle if just using 1 battery at a time? Whats the benefit of using the 2 batteries at same time?
Easy to use like it cause it portable
Wow đłđČ
This is exactly what I need !!!!!
Not what I want but what I need!!!!!!!! Any info on how to buy one of these would be very grateful. Dude you are awesome.
Thanks
Thanks for the compliment. There is a link directly to the bike in the description. It can be purchased directly from Fucare
I was thinking about finding a donor bike and adding E but after seeing this, why bother. With the available accessories it really has everything I'm wanting in a commuter/explorer bike.
I'm 6'2" and thinking about buying one , will I fit well enough to pedal and be comfortable on a long ride ?
Thinking about pulling the trigger.
i bouught a giordano intrepid and it arrived without novatec hubs what do i do???
I had someone else tell me the same thing. If it were me, I would return it and reorder until I got the parts I was supposed to get.
My eco-trick hammer has a lot of the same parts brakes the derailleur. Crankshaft. 180 mm mine has That is really heavy mine is 70 lb. I don't believe the estimated range. Looks like a pretty nice seat.
You know what crazy. I just got this bike and I don't have Pas 5. I go up to Pas 7 it's crazy. One thing I wish is that pas one went a LITTLE slower.. why? Because when I'm with my friends Pas one kicks me to 20kph and they CANNOT keep up, not even close. Maybe inside the setting I can't change things up
Talked to them recently and yes, you can change power percentage per gear. That was my first question and they responded quickly with an actual video.
One day I'll buy something like this. What designs are more "proven" than others?
Hm... I might just order one to do grocery run and some...đ
First it was Fooker, now there's Fucare?
I'm starting to think this isn't unintentional đ€
Lol
If they make them in a bright yellow i need one! :)
Also that bike needs a horn not a little bell hehe
I believe under that small front light is an electronic horn.

I hit like 48 on that long steep hill one day on a road bike and about didnât make the curve at the bottom! đ
That curve is always a challenge at speed. One day I was heavily braking as I approached the curve and one of our lovely Florence drivers was coming up the curve in the wrong lane. I was happy to have the extra traction of fat tires that day đ
đđđđđđđđđđđđđ
I want to buy but need a question answered ... if I buy the extra 15 amp battery I assume u can run 1 10 amp battery with the the 1 15 amp battery? And then I could carry the 10 amp battery with me to help me get home.. or should I buy 2 15 amp batteries so I have 2 setups?
I donât know that staggered Ah batteries is a good idea. The system is designed to balance both batteries so the draw is equal. If the batteries are a different Ah I donât know what that would do. If it were me I would run similar Ah batteries
I love that ebike! I love that it can hold 400 pounds too! I wish this came in a non electric version. Just a analog pedal version would be greatâŠexcellent video as always KevcentralâŠ.
Cool bike but for me I'd like it to have a AWD option
The pad needs to be tactile. Push button style. The display needs to have a rain protection. The tyres can be thinner. Needs solar recharging system.
đđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
So if I upgrade to the 15ah battery would it be better then the 20ah it cone with ??
It would add more range
It gets 20ah with two 10ah. So if you upgrade to 15ah packs, you will have 30ah total.
They got rid of the quick release front wheel last month. Really shouldn't be a thing for ebikes anyway. Too bad it has the thumb throttle and underwhelming batteries. You have to put in another $1200 just to get decent range that comes stock with cheaper brands like my Bee Cool Explorer's single 21ah battery.
They use Micky mouse shifters because with many throttle setups it places your usual paddle shifters too far away from the grips to be used safely and comfortably. Even these Micky mouse shifters can be a stretch sometimes. And most people just plain don't want to shift with their left hand in the USA and your only real option to even do that is a reversed twist shifter... Yuck... Most standard bikes I've converted for people tend to end up with Micky mouse shifters as well simply because they're easier to operate along side a throttle for most typical ebikers, I myself wouldn't normally touch a Micky shifter with a ten foot pole, yet even my converted ebikes usually end up with them. Standard paddle shifters only make ergonomic sense on pedal assist only ebikes (usually)
bella bici...io non parlo inglese...ma mi piacere acquistarla volevo sapere il prezzo della bicicletta eletrica...
Another Kev here again, I need advice on a reasonable step thru cruiser to convert to a middrive ebke( I like the stealth factor with the middrive and bottle battery, When the cost approaches $1100,I will seriuosly consider pre made( your test bike looks very robust,I have had it with the 26" fattire bikes when I checked the rolling resistance( even with an up aired street tread front tire"Sandstorm) I lost my money on a certain crappy fattire from Minnesota,I was so disgusted with that bike I practically gave it away( including My Sandstorm, flat fix and Fooker pedals( great pedals BTW-I had discarded the junk ones that came on the bike.
On your test bike, you did a great job on it and its sort of on the back of my mind now, getting up in years now with a very stiff back and hard time getting on Mens bikes( love the girly colors as well, even though I love pink won't go that far.
Classy name đ. They make this model as a step-thru too
@@KevCentral Thanx!( now about the Wally world frame( my disenchantment grows with the lower end.)
Having never converted a Walmart bike to mid-drive I would be guessing đ€
@@KevCentral Thank you, remembering the struggle I had with an old Raliegh" among others I am starting to lean toward a premade with an easy payment plan,Maxfoot has a nice cruiser for around $1400, the problem is those big fatires I did a little rolling test off a steep hill, the ebike with Normal tires hit the bottom around 10 mph faster( indicated and I know these fatties can be difficult for a bottom tier biker to pedal.BTW I love your Mtn bike work and real help for the People that do not have scads of money lying around.
Is it true that a 7-speed e-bike's cassette cannot be upgraded to a higher speed cassette because of the limit of the axle spacing in the frame. 7 speed is just too limited. When is a carbon belt drive version coming out? Who really wants to mess around with an external drive train? The battery should be placed as low to the ground as possible to lower the center of mass. In this case, front battery could be made lower in position to the ground. The round tubes used on the frame bulks up the width of the frame. It should be designed with smaller profile tubing to make the frame between the pedaling legs smaller. A mid-drive motor would also be better.
Where can I get this bike?
I don't like the way the seats are not adjustable like in the old days you can put them up and down with that round thing with the little bolt on it not anymore and it sucks and I got it cloud nine seat and it sucks cuz there's not really Springs on it that work if I tighten it all the way down if I loosen it it makes funny noises I don't like the Cloud 9 seats yeah it's comfortable but why have a spring that is not useful? Or maybe there's something I'm doing wrong I don't know I saw somebody adjusted it I didn't figure it out. But if you do it's very difficult and you have to have special tools

The name is actually pronounced Fu-car-ee according to the manufacturer.
When I asked them they said it was Foo-Care
@@KevCentral That's to be expected. The Fucare YT channel pronounce Foo-car-ee on several videos. It's like the different pronunciations for Asus. Taiwanese employees say Ah-soos while most others say Aye-sus.
How recent did they start using Fu-car-ee? Because I told them it sounded cooler that way - around a year ago đ
