- At times a divorce could be traumatic. I was devastated when my pastor and wife got a divorce. I invited the wife of whom we called Lady Mac to share in the release of her FIRST CD and I surprised her by honoring her on my once cable show and she gave us how grounded she is in the Lord.
I remember Tammera from a TBN episode. She interviewed Tia & Tamera's parents. I was impressed with her wisdom and maturity. I'm thankful that she is moving forward. Such a lovely & intelligent person.
The Chuirch must do a better job as to how we deal with people of divorce. We stop being friends with a person because of the divorce, when we were friends for years. How do we call ourselves Christians if we can't love people through their hard times? What an awesome woman of God! I remember when they divorced and I was hurt by how it happened, I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now. God bless you Lady Tammera!

Preach, Sis....people mess up the scripture every time, telling someone they can't remarry. A divorce is a institution, she has no husband she is bound to. That is the purpose of a divorce.
This came up in my account per algorithm and all I can say is, "WHAT A BREATH of FRESH AIR! " - Very mature approach, despite the whole messy situation. I have an increased respect for her. WRONG! Mis-interpretation of scripture!!! Romans 7:2 When you are divorced they are no longer your spouse. A bishop has one wife but when he is divorced- He has none.

How often in the scriptures does GOD refer to the need for His people to seek His face and to listen to His voice. We do well to take warning to not do what seems right in our own eyes. All things are possible to him who believes.
I can't help but think about the Power of freedom once the anxiety of letting go of relationships that you cannot quite see as toxic until they are gone and you are over it; all you got to do is let that week or two weeks, even a month or more pass you by so that spirit can dissolve and that anxiety will lift and you will experience God's freedom. I believe this interview was long overdue; and, that by now, Sis. Tammera should be well over the connection she had with Clarence McClendon. Their divorce occurred so long ago, that there is no further need for her to be interviewed about him or their break up. Now, is the time for Sis. Tammera to discuss what she is doing for God, for herself; and, in her life and future as it pertains to the building up of the body of Christ; or, whomever else her publics/audiences are (other women, divorced women; or, people--in general). I, personally, am no longer interested in hearing of what Clarence McClendon did to Sis. Tammera; as, he hurt many people; he is a, mere, memory in the lives of everyone he hurt; and, he has and will be held accountable, by God, for it. So, it is time for everyone to be well-over whatever he did, whomever he did it to; and, whenever he did it. The devil/evil, that was worked through him, against others, is being given too much credit and glory for the damage that was caused in the lives of people; and, that is what Clarence McClendon enjoys. As a former church member of their's, I can recall him making the statement, at a Sunday evening service, that "ever since I was a little boy, I would instigate trouble, by starting fires in the bathroom, at school, etc; and, when it was all over, everybody would point my way; and, say: 'Clarence did it' ..." So, be it known that "Clarence enjoys 'doing it'"; being the one to get people caught up in his madness; then, laughing at the after-math of it all; and, calling people 'fools for following him'. Get over it; and, get on. While this is her message, the 'thank you' should, actually, be to God for delivering her out of the firey furnace; and, the lion's den, she was in. My prayers, for Sis. Tammera, are that this will be the last reference she, publicly, makes about Clarence McClendon, who has done his damage; and, moved on. So, now, may deliverance, peace and progression be upon everyone Clarence McClendon has ever hurt; and, may they all move forward, in the newness of life, in Christ Jesus.
I was a member of Church of the Harvest. Sister Tammy is a woman of God & she treated each of us with love. I was devastated, embarrassed and angry and I walked away from the body of Christ after what Bishops McClendon did. I came back and learned to trust no man as the Bible says but I still can’t stand to look at Bishop McClendon even today because he said “God” told him to leave Sis. Tammy. He lied on God and I never heard him repent. I’m glad she’s doing so well.

My ex spouse did the same thing. 25 years of marriage. And yet I have to scrape by. He left me with nothing and married his mistress and bought her a home. Ok fine. I told God and yes I prayed for all of those who plotted my downfall to reap what they showed. His parents helped him cheat family members knew and helped him. Well.. three of them who professed Christ have all lost their minds. My ex is broke and struggling and that house he bought with my money every paycheck he has to take to fix it. He can’t pay his bills and his wife is now extremely sick and he had to pay for that as well. My kids say he is a walking zombie. You reap evil when you sow evil. And that’s the Word.

Clarence & Tammy--I went to the church when it was 'Church of the Harvest', and I've seen some changes, some of them, very negative, especially on the part of Bishop McClendon.
I also went to the Church of the Harvest and the only thing that church and Clarence did for me, was make me trust churches even less than I already did.

Imo, it's old-school interpretation vs new-school interpretation, and traditional teaching vs hermeneutics/seminary.
You'd be hard-pressed to find anyone nowadays between the ages of 40-60 who hasn't been married twice.
I have no heaven or hell to put anyone in. Saints have to _fully_ study that passage for themselves and be lead by the Holy Spirit, and not _just_ rely on how they were traditionally taught.
But yeah, it's one of those subjects that still gets The Body of Christ all riled up.

I remember when the divorce was announced. The late Bishop Earl Paulk in Atlanta Ga (where I used to visit a lot) was in Clarence McClendon's circle and served as a type of help in the transition from one wife to another. When their divorce was announced, Clarence McClendon said his wife was divorcing him. I don't think they were divorced for 2 months before he remarried that woman he's with now. Later, I read that Tamara McClendon said it was him who asked for the divorce but told her she needed to be the one to file in order to preserve the ministry.

Oveta Pledger well when u divorce don’t u go back to your maiden name why keep carrying a mans last name if your no longer married to him I know someone personally that went back to using their maiden name and that’s what’s should be done
Rene Hills you have to pay to change your name back to your maiden name and it rarely happens like that. I’ve seen women carry two, three and four last names. Names long as the first line of the paper. 😂😂

All races. All former demoninationss. All ethnicities. This right here is unnecessary title Worshipping. It’s about Father Son Jesus. & Holy Spirit. Who coined the title First Lady? Plaaheese. This makes my Stomach Turn. This is why Millennials are doing a New Thing! Why are titles so important in Predominantly African American Churches ⛪️????!!!!

And her she didn't even know who she was; which ended the in divorce because she was taught the religious way of being married in the holiness church...in this interview did not speak to the interviewer about deliverance from the spirit of homosexuality.

@@WGOD100 But Bishop McClendon had said that he married her, because of her father who was a bishop at the time, pressured them into getting married. And a lot of church ppl do that! And that's y most of those marriages doesn't work out! Apparently he wasn't in love with her. They were just performing! Had a bad marriage from the beginning, but nobody knew it!

Read the history. Google search their names and type divorce. Read what's out there. You'll see why. Then, look at his pictures. Look at him on video. Look at that slicked back hair and the flash. Look at how he conducts himself. Look at all those fruits seen. The unbelievers themselves can look and tell you. Sometimes the evidence of actions is right in front of our eyes. Not everybody preaching lives by the gospel that their preaching is supposed to be based on.
