BTW potatoes - here in Poland we make also potato doughnuts :) Martha, maybe you should try to make them in the future episodes :)
Everything Martha makes looks amazing. Martha is naturally gifted in homemaking and cooking/baking. I really wish she was my aunt or something so I could enjoy all of these desserts lol
I had the opportunity to have fresh Hazelnuts once. This lady is right, I mean you'd think...hey, they're just boring ole hazelnuts....but nope, fresh ones are a completely different level, they're amazing. I order them from the west coast for holidays. Not even a big nut fan, they're just incredible though. Okay, I've geek'd out about hazelnuts enough. Time to say good night :D
Ha i just picked about 12 cups of blackberries .. going to make jam .. and this cobbler !!!
Wonderful recipes! Fully explained, thoroughly directed! Thank you! 💐

Healthy ❤️ Nd yummmy ♥️♥️🥰
There are a couple of good recipes here. Sarah Carey's hair always makes me wince.
I dont know why.... But. ....I would serve the cobbler with a drizzle of chocolate sauce. 😋
would like to know the areas of Oregon where the hazelnuts and figs are grown
MARTHA!!!!!
Again... what to use in place of Port.
Sherry, vermouth or a sweet red wine blend would substitute well. If you're looking for non-alcoholic options, any unsweetened fruit juice will do great in this dish!
Will the flavor of the juice come through? I don't even have alcoholic beverages in my house. Not good with meds.
Quiero ver las resetas en español por favor me encantan
Como puedo ver los videos en español gracias saludos
There is no link to the BlackBerry Cobbler.
Hola como le puedo hacer para ver los videos en español gracias saludos
Can you use butter milk instead of heavy cream for this recipe?
Yes, you can use buttermilk! For every cup of heavy cream you will want to substitute 2/3 cup of buttermilk and 1/3 cup of oil. 😊
Wondering if okay to put potatoes through a ricer for cake recipe?
Yes you can!
DONT OVERWORK THE BISCUITS
Alaska is considered part of The Great Northwest, and it goes no further East than Idaho. It's Alaska, Washington State, Oregon (Pronounced Or-your-gun, not Are-you-gone, for anyone out there who wanted to know), and Idaho.
The other states mentioned here are part of "the Midwest" or "America's Bread Basket." They lead into the next few states over, known as "Tornado Alley" and "The Bible Belt" (Also part of the Midwest).
The Great Northwest is easy to identify because of the higher rainfall each year. This supports our trees, fishing, and wildlife.
We are also politically easy to identify, and rest assured, our overall politics are very different than some of the states mentioned here.
Another easy way to know is that we say "Soda" not "Pop," and those raised in the Willamette Valley often say, "Soda-pop." But it's *never* "pop." "Pop" is reserved for a nickname meaning "Dad."
Also, the inclusion of Idaho is a bit of a stretch, but we have the whole Spokane/Cor de Lane connection between WA and ID, so we include ID anyway. But that's as far as it goes. Montana in particular is on it's own - and they like it that way!
One other note: Hazelnuts do not grow anywhere on the West Coast. That's their sour cousin, the filbert. We don't use filberts in the recipes that call for Hazelnuts, because of their high acidity being too difficult to overcome in such delicate recipes. Instead, we use imported actual Hazelnuts from the East Coast, where these cousin-plants grow in abundance. We do sometimes roast filberts, then cool and eat them plain or salted, but even then, most people who've done that once never try it again. They're really not edible, no matter what you do to them. They're there for the squirrels and some birds, which we have in abundance.
😋
😋😋😋

I skipped right to the hazelnut cookies
I can't hear you Martha.
