BTW, it doesn’t need a key to run. The key is used to remove the battery when the bike is folded. It locks the battery into the bike.
Riding around with the key in it is a great way to have the battery fall out (or the key)

It totally needs the key to run. If you take it out you will only be able to pedal. The key essentially turns on the power at the battery.
They recently changed it to where the key must stay in and turned to on (it locks in). Originally it was just to lock in the battery.
His son actually is more organized in keeping the plastic on a table :P

I watched the whole thing. Your kid is adorable, you are funny, your guy at the office is cute (and edits these videos fantastically), your friends are dorks... but my favorite part was that you stopped to talk to the turtle and told him to be careful of bike riders, lol. *I approve of this video :-)!
The range is contingent on variables like Incline, tyre pressure, wind, riders weight, temperature et cetera, so if you’re planning on buying an E-bike consider those variables as far as range capacity. Other than that not a bad bike, 28 mph is plenty in a city.
I really liked this vlog, I think it's gonna be great series man, keep up with this.

I have a Mate X 750 watt. Very similar bike and very fast when "unlocked". I was an early backer and got all the premium components before they switched factories due to trade issues.
I ordered my Lectric XP a month ago so now I'm like a kid before Xmas. I CAN'T WAIT! Curious, I thought the throttle was on the right, not the left. LOVED the vid, but next time you might think about showing more of the bike detail, even if you don't know what they are.

You'd be more comfortable if you raise that seat about 8". I hope it allows that. Your knees should not bend more than 90 degrees when pedaling.

Hi, I bought one of these for my wife and she loves it, it looks as though the brake pads are or have worn out. Do you have any idea where to get the pads from and what part it is? Someone said Halfords but they have various pads and that does not help work out which pad is needed to replace these.

I kind of love the lord of the rings extended edition ending this vlog had. It was filled with your personality and shows your just figuring it out as you go.
I just tested this same bike today at the corporate office in Phoenix. It was amazing and I purchased two of them. In case you are wondering the bike will go 28 mph with peddle assist in class 3 mode. If you just use the power in class 3 mode, you will go around 22-23 mph. In class 2 mode, the way the it comes from the factory, the bike will go 20 mph. Overall, it handles great and is very comfortable. Buy with confidence as you cannot beat the price and quality!

Yes, it does have full throttle control, but that comes at the expense of range and battery. You'll get faster speeds and longer range if you use pedal assist.
@David Johnson Because people aren't buying it for exercise, they are buying it for convenient short range travel. Do you have any idea how long it takes me to bike into town on my bike? Cars flying by, no side walks, going 7mph, huge hills. This makes a trip like that work and going 20mph means it cuts that time in half. People aren't getting fat and obese because they aren't biking, they are getting fat and obese because food is now entertainment.
@David Johnson Yes short range, this is not a car, you need enough battery to get there AND get back. If you manage to save enough battery to go 30 miles then your turn around point must be 15 miles. Its a cool toy, I have a feeling David that you aren't getting in your car and pedaling to work, people use these to get distances at speeds they couldn't without a car, but without the gas, money, size and cumbersome nature of a car. If people want to exercise they'll go to a gym, they dont need a bike. A bike isn't even good exercise.
