@@limonlx7182 I'm surprised it's possible RTA. You can't line up your geyser trajectory, you have to perform a double jump, and you have to jump off of a steep beam. It all seems very precise
@@Rapandreasfor the longest time we were too scared to attempt it RTA just bc there are 2 squat jumps involved, and even after my TAS showed it was possible it was still too scary too attempt. But for somw reason in this new patch it was discovered that walking diagonally is slightly faster than walking forward, which let pt get there a lot faster and finally do this insane trick (tas guyser, or 0 cycle guyser)
@@JuliusCube Pretty classic video game quirk. Usually it's because of diagonal movement speed combining your forward and left/right velocity, making a new vector that's just a bit faster than either alone. √(a²+b²) baby!
with the new strategy at the beginning he cuts down 22 seconds in the "village" section!! So it has margin for doing a 7:15 record, if he does the other sections as fast as he did in the 7:37 record of yesterday! I bet in a few more days he'll post one below 7:20
this is fantastic! i thought you weren't gonna make that first skip cause you jumped onto the geyser so late, but you ended up still making it and even with a lower arc so it looks way faster. wondered if it was the quantum moon being overhead that helped your jump a bit?
@@elio6361 if my memory serves me right, yeah. there was a commentated vid i watched that said that the quantum moon's gravity might affect the geyser jump skip and cause it to fail, and i'm curious if this time that gravity is what helped the jump

Does the quantum moon even produce gravity when you're not on it ? It's basically just a trigger zone

The ash twin doesn’t lower any sand until the timeloop starts so starting the timeloop is necessary to reach the ATP
How does bro double jump like that?
You can start holding the jump button to charge up another jump if you press it again within a couple of frames of starting a jump.
