I've got a Breville Quick Touch microwave I purchased a few years ago. It's got all the same smart cook and smart reheat functions. I'm still very happy with the microwave after a full 4 years of use...
I just want the volume controls and quiet door. I really don't care about anything else. The worst thing about a microwave oven is the overwhelming racket it creates.
Going to BB in an hour to pick one of these up. Your vid convinced us it's a much nicer option than the LG I had been considering. Thank you.

2:07 can you turn the chime completely off? I want to be able to mute or disable any chimes or beeps. Also, how quiet is the door relative to other microwaves? It was hard for me to tell in the video. Is it actually quieter? Thanks!
Yes you can, you can also reduce the the volume of the chime

Excellent review. Question, once the cooking time is done, it seems like the fan is still on. We hear it running, does that normally occur at yours?
It does. That’s normal. The machine is trying to cool down and also ventilate the fumes
Just got one and trying to figure out if something is wrong - is it normal for it to sound like it’s still running even after it finishes? Like a fan is running? Is this normal (like a cool down function) or is mine having a defect? Please, any answers super appreciated!!!

@@missjojo1201 we’ve had ours for a whole year and it works great - I eventually read somewhere that it’s the fan running to cool the appliance, nothing more, and so far it works perfectly well.

A whole damn lot. $349.99 on Amazon.
According to the post below yours it lasts at least 4 years. Protection for the appliance is $34 and only covers it for 3 years.
How do I set the clock on this thing???? I just got it and there is no "Set Clock" function as the instructions say. THIS THING IS INFURIATING.
Lots of great features, but after 6 months of light use, the door wouldn't close, and it only heated intermittently. We were disappointed. We are trying to get it replaced now, since we don't want any repair people in our home. Hopefully the company will step up.
Update! The company is sending me a new one!
Karisa Botch did you have issues with smart reheat function? I just bought one and have to run smart reheat cycle several times. Food comes out cold, when i use manual settings to reheat it works fine.
OMG! We just bought a new one and I am having issue with the door not closing! Its driving me nuts everytime! I read the manual front to back and it didnt mention about that problem! So it is a malfuction! Urgggg. Pls pls let me know how to contact them! Thanks
@@ceeDang I bought one at best buy and it smart reheat wasn’t working. Finally decided to go exchange it and buy the 4 year warranty for it since i read about so many potential issues.

Yes mine just died after 8 months . Bought from Amazon but have to go to Mfg. I hope still in warranty . I called but hour wait will call again.
DO NOT BUY. Our Breville microwave lasted less than 2.5 years before failing. Contacted their customer support and there I was invited to pay to speak to a technician. Never again.
I! DON'T! CARE! I want a cook time and power level demo and that's it!
