Sidney (Neve Campbell) shoots Ghostface and starts to untie Gale (Courteney Cox) and Dewey (David Arquette) when Detective Kincaid (Patrick Dempsey) arrives. He convinces Sidney to put her gun down but as she does, Ghostface comes back and attacks them.

What’s the Scream 3 movie about?
Three years after the previous film’s events, while Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) lives in safely guarded seclusion, bodies begin dropping around the Hollywood set of Stab 3, the latest movie sequel based on the gruesome Greensboro killings. When the escalating terror finally brings her out of hiding, Sidney and other Greensboro survivors are once again drawn into an insidious game of horror movie mayhem. Unpopular opinion: Scream 3 has its problems & Columbine played a huge role in the violence being toned down, but for a third installment, it’s actually decent.
The third act and the mansion chases really make it for what it is
I don't mind the violence being toned down at all, I've loved this franchise not for the kills, and it's not what makes a great horror film, on the other hand i know that Stu was originally supposed to run things from behind bars or smth, but due to Columbine they scrapped it, now that would've been interesting, I'd see that.

Probably had the most original plot of the Scream movies.
@marthaismute In a lot of ways, I like it as the violence was toned down a bit to a point that works as these movies are a whodunit first and foremost. That and the ending, I think no one saw coming. So despite some of it's flaws which all of Wes's movies had, this works best for me, and I'm personally ignoring the new movies.
@marthaismute For me, I hate the sisters. In the new movie, the directors used Samara from Ready or Not, and she would have been a great new Sidney as also I don't see how two maim characters works besides other things.

I wasn’t expecting Roman to kick Kincaid into the fire mantal that almost killed him. 3 years ago when I saw this scene 1:50. Roman really is a brutal ghostface. He always punches and kicks people before killing them. 4 years ago in some scene clips in scream 3 on you tube I always knew ghostface would beat someone before trying to kill them.

The clumsiest I've ever seen Ghostface is when he/she chased her through the house in Scream 2 and tries to jump the armchair but badly fails.
It makes sense. They’re just regular people committing these murders. They have no training, just a desire to kill. Regular people fall and trip, especially in a costume like that.

It was still roman after they went to find Angelina, Roman got up, Found his costume without noticing, and killed Angelina, Tyson, And Jennifer, Then brought Sidney to the house luring her by Kidnapping Dewey And Gale.

Could you not censor the swearing. This is a piece of horror film, not a documentary, and certainly no children’s film. Such a decision is just hypocrisy. Even on CZcams has age limits that prevent too young people from watching such clips. Or it should be prevented and ultimately it would be the parents ’job to make sure their brats don’t get to watch this kind of clips/videos.

If you're gonna critique, have a back up line that you can do better before opening your mouth about a film or franchise sucking.
Only real bad one was Scream 4 and that's bc of a dumb motive reason. On a second note, I'd have not given the killer one and sure as hell wouldn't have made it be Jill or some scumpy school kid! Would've made it to someone who mattered and tied into the prequels.
