Which technique does your hair stylist use to take out the bulk? I have super thick coarse wavy hair, a similar hair type to yours, but have had a few bad experiences my hair stylist going overboard with thinning shears. Your hair looks so good, made me curious 😊

Hey Melissa I love your videos 😍😍❤️❤️ well tbh I have tried Redken products and they didn’t work for me. Actually since I’ve used the shampoo conditioner and mask my hair was so dry and I’ve lost all of the shine. I don’t think I have ever had my hair that dry and it was breaking as well. Now I got back to my L’Oréal products and slowly getting my hair healthy, hydrated and shine again.
Nice I watched you and it got me to try the conditioner & I saw an instant frizzy less day. Thanks for sharing what else is in your shower??
I would love to see a tutorial on how to style your natural hair! I have the same exact texture and waves, and it's very long and thick. I love my hair but get tired of styling with a straight iron but I'm never sure what products to use to enhance my natural hair. 💕

I'm sooooo curious if your hair would go curl if you tried the "curly girl" method!! My hair was always voluminous thick waves until I started doing basic changes like scrunching my conditioner in and using no nasties shampoo etc. Then it went really curly
When I was your age my hair had the same texture and curl. I'm now 72 and although I have the same coarseness and it's very thick it's changed from long ago. I've been using Kerastase I've been looking for less expensive products and I love Redkin. You have beautiful hair

I think i have a similar hair texture, is the colour that you use permanent or semi permanent? I have a lot of greys and dying it with permanent colour has left it very hard to manage.

Yes, I had a lot pending prior to going into surgery that I wasn’t able to complete because I was out of commission and as soon as I was cleared to go back to work I got bombarded with “hey, ya you never uploaded/created content to complete this deal” so we had to rush upload everything at the same time since it was supposed to up March - April. I feel 100% about my sponsored content/ enjoy all the content I created for it and enjoy the products ☺️

Dang, was hoping they might show us how to style it natural! Maybe you can do a video on that too?? Really loving all this hair info, mine is pretty similar-thick, wavy/curly with major frizz potential. Whenever I get weight taken out, it looks like an entire head of hair on the floor haha.

I wish I would have known how much I was damaging my hair when I graduated college 😠 I wanted to get ombre hair for college but no one knew how to do it and they RUINED my hair so I ended up dyeing it a total of 4 times in one week!!! That was a looot of bleach and coloring 🥺 It took me all of 4 years college to grow my hair back but I never had the same waves/curls and shine in my hair 💔 at this point my hair is really straight and damaged but the roots are curly so I’m feeling a little better about it now! Thinking about cutting it short again!

Don't, you're a natural beauty and the bleach will ruin your hair. I've only done highlights and my hair has permanent damage

So she used a demipermanent 7 with 20 vol or 10? My stylist use 6NN and give your exact tone but around my face it looks black and I hate it
Cristina Andrea it looks like it was the Shades EQ toner, which is a semipermanent (I believe). The developer is less than a 10 vol.

Melissa, I have such curly thick hair. It's like Shakira's hair, and very heavy. I come out of the shower and take off the towel, my husband always looks at me like I'm crazy and did my hair like this on purpose..lol.. I love that Redkin hair mask. I ve been there,i know...but after of not able to walk for several months i was like:fuck this,i will shave them all,i do not care-they started growing again,same story with psoriasis,i did not give any attention,and i am psoriasis free 10 years.

I am almost 30 with (thankfully) no grays (Don't know if it's because I started healthy eating habits & daily vitamin/supplement intakes in my early 20's or just plain Puerto Rican Genes 🤣) BUT I read on a bunch of studies that vitamins Super B12 Complex , C , D3 can keep gray hair away longer (deficiency in any of these contributes to early grays!!) AND supplements containing the ingredients "Catalase" , "Fotki" and/or "PABA" can do the same AND possibly darken already graying hair 🤔

I don't have a problem with redken sponzoring your video because you use that stuff all the time and I know you wouldn't recommend a bad product.
