    You know Melissa, your hair looks nice even if it's not super smoothed out. I like it when you wear it more natural with that cute poofy coarseness.

    Hi! Great video! Two things - I went sulfate-free about 4 months ago and wow - what a difference...I think Briogeo is one of the factors as well. Second, your hair is literally like mine. I discovered a new product from Soko Glam and it’s now my holy grail!!! You have to try it before you get another keratin treatment! It’s Lador’s Keratin Power Glue and my hair is amazing when I use it along with two other products. I wash my hair once or twice a week and use this once a week. It’s a product that promotes hair health and actually contains snail secretion filtrate, keratin and moringa oil. You shampoo your hair and then apply this without using a conditioner. I seriously recommend trying it - it has saved me!!! Have a great night! 😊

    Omg how you described your hair is EXACTLY how my hair is. It’s thick, dry, frizzy, wavy?, curly?, coarse hair that more often then not requires so much work to dry and rarely looks how I want it to. I’m so glad I found your hair care videos because I really want to learn how to better take care of my hair. Thank you so much for posting and please make more!!!

      Had the same issue, so I did the most 80s thing I could do - I got a perm!! It changed everything, I suddenly have volume and bounce and i don't need to do anything to it. Because my hair was SO straight, it's not crazy curly, just nicely wavy, which is perfect :)

    • @Alexis-gq9bn
      @Alexis-gq9bn Před 6 lety

      Tea Mene i also have thin straight hair but really thin im scared to dye my hair anymore. So my question is dont perms damage your hair more ? Nd what they do to make it wavy not so curly ?

    I have very coarse textured hair that is also thick and dense (meaning I have a ton of hair, about 4 heads worth from what stylists tell me). The thing that has literally changed my hair life is the L'Oréal SteamPod!!! I can't say enough good things about it, and it's cut my hair styling time from 1.5+ hrs down to 20 min. Its expensive but so worth it. I use a quality hair dryer to get it about 90 % dry (takes 10 mins) then I use the steam pod to smooth/straighten it (another 10 mins). I have ALOT of hair so it used to take me 45 mins (at least!) to flat iron my hair and then I'd have to do it again every morning. But with the Steampod, I only have to use it on wash days and my hair stays smooth until next wash. It really is like magic and by far the best grooming investment I've ever made. Anyways, I used to do the same thing in high school, wake up at 5ish just to get my hair styled and ready in time for class so I feel your pain, thick frizzy coarse hair sux!! Thanks for the tips, great video :)

I would have liked to see more of a comparison of sleeping on a regular pillow case versus a silk pillow case showing the results of how your hair looks a feels after waking up. I keep hearing silk pillow cases are better for the hair but I’ve never actually seen a comparison. ❤️❤️❤️

    First of all, you are just stunning!! Thanks for the reminder about combing conditioner through while in the shower, I even have a wide tooth comb in my shower and still forget. I don't have wavy hair but I find it helps to distribute the conditioner because my hair tends to go into a big clump when wet (I think because it is colour treated blonde?). I love my turbie towel too, I even take it on vacation with me, can't be without it!

  • @Galgore
    @Galgore Před 6 lety

    As a fellow wavy-curly/thickkk/frizzy haired person, I really appreciate this video! I was pleasantly surprised to see that I use a lot of the same things you do! Another tip that I received from my stylist to preserve hair for a few days and reduce frizz is to wear your hair in a high ponytail using a scrunchie while you sleep. The scrunchie won't leave dent marks and the ponytail will help prevent tangling and frizz.

    Thank you for this. My hair is just like yours and I have a 12 year old daughter who has hair that is even thicker than mine. I feel so bad for her. I took her to get a Brazilian Blowout and it made her hair so much more manageable and she loves it. The only thing I don't like now is that her hair gets oily way faster so she has to wash it at least 2-3 times a week now instead of once every 4 days. I think this lighter weight shampoo and conditioner would help with that for sure. ✌🏽❤️😘

I already use sulfate and paraben free shampoo, but my hair, MY HAIR, is a tangle factory, I can brush it before going to bed and wake up the next morning with a tangle paradise T.T so I'm going to try the silk pillow case.
