Hi there guys it is about them leaving Barcelona. Her ex-boyfriend’s father pushed them out and gave them 30 days to leave the house. It talked about their relationship and the pain she went through but her kids got her through it. It is really a beautiful songs. The lyrics are beautiful in Spanish. Well, Shakira just went through a break-up. Her husband, Gerard Piqué cheated on her with a 23 year old woman and destroyed their family. She has gone through a lot of pain and has been releasing all kinds of destracks against her ex. She states that as a singer-songwriter, that is her best way to make catharsis and express her emotions. After all this turmoil and healing process, she decided to write this song Acróstico for her 2 sons, Milan and Sasha. The lyrics contain her two son's names hidden within the poem. The song speaks about her profound love for them and reassures that she will be strong for them and that despite pain and adversity the have to keep on smiling to life and embracing every lesson that comes with it. When the two boys listened to the song first hand, they asked her mom that they wanted to participate in the record. They really took ownership of the song and wanted to support their mom all the way. This one is such a highlight not only for Shakira but to all of us Shakyfans. It is one of her most heartfelt, meaningful, and beautiful songs ever, in my opinion.

The video is a representation of them moving out of Barcelona, (now they live in Miami) since her ex father-in-law asked her to move out of his property, even though those are his grandchildren.

If you like Arabic or Middle Eastern music, you might react to Shakira's song "Ojos así", preferably the live performance, it has a lot of Middle Eastern music influence, since she is of Lebanese descent on her father's side
I wish she would make a version in English of this song, the lyrics are amazingly beautiful, sublime, touching, I can't think of another song in comparison. It is a dedication to her children and a perfect example of how a loving parent feels about their children.
