Peter Ranking - See A Man Face Dub Remix

This dub remix of little known artist Peter Ranking's "See A Man Face" - which forms the the B-side of the "No Man Is An Island" 12" - makes up Part Three of the "Dub's That Never Were" series.
Released in 1976 on the Jah Bible label, the original dub doesn't feature Ranking's voice, but the remix contains parts of his vocal, using creative trickery, plus additional effects and some re-editing of the musical arrangement.
Produced by Errol 'Don' Mais, backed by Roots Radics, recorded at Channel One Studios and mixed at King Tubbys. There's no mention of the mix engineer, but it sounds like a Scientist mix.
The dub has been Intricately remixed by Toby Ranks with additional vocal snippets, drum licks, guitars and effects in the style of the time, creating a unique version of a dub classic.
