  • Scenes (PRESUMABLY) animated by animator/director/designer/union activist William “Bill” Littlejohn (1914-2010).
Bill Littlejohn is a highly respected master animator with a humorous and expressive animation style. His scenes are immediately identifiable through his strong posing, vibrant hand gestures, and skills in pantomime acting. He was often given the most elaborate Snoopy scenes in various animated Peanuts productions. Several scenes he animated were done using straight-ahead such as the famous dance sequence in 1962’s The Hole. Littlejohn was a favorite animator (and close personal friend) of John Hubley, Jay Ward, and Bill Melendez. His legacy not only lies in his animation work but as an active member/president of IATSE Local 839 (The Animation Guild).

It's nice to see more of Bill Littlejohn's work outside of Peanuts.
His stuff on John Hubley and Tom & Jerry is really under appreciated imo.

Bill Littlejohn is a huge inspiration for me, I always watch these compilations of his work when I need a boost, his Peanuts stuff is so perfect in regards to appeal and the human touch. Thank you for doing these.

He also lend a hand on animating several Garfield and Friends episodes during its seventh and final season, both in-house at Film Roman and with an uncredited Bill Melendez Productions (just the name only) on episode 10.
