The purpose of a witch is that the frogs take aggro away from the mobs, when one frog dies another takes its place. I agree they are better if you send multiple witches, but a single witch can be useful against someone who has few units, as the frog diverts their attention.

True but depending on the wave they still have to clear it before they even get to the frogs and witch. But that can be good too because then there are a lot of frogs. I’ve always just found my mythium spent better some other mercs
