  • What does the life of a typical autism mom look like? An attempt to defy a rushed prognosis, powered only by her will and belief in her child’s ability to learn!
This statement is probably true for many autism moms including the one we are having a conversation with and in this episode we are delighted to spotlight Sarvagya Lohia, a nine year old whose book Sarvagya Ki Hanuman Chalisa , published by Bookosmia, has won accolades from many quarters including the Chief Minister of Delhi and the Indian Army and have a conversation with Sarvagya’s mother, Shivani Lohia, about the journey of Sarvagya, the artist and author. Shivani is a practicing Chartered Accountant and the founder of 'Autism Financial Planning'. She is associated with various NGO's working for autism.

Host Shwetha is parent of 18-year-old Aditi, an award winning author on the autism spectrum and 6-year-old Kriti who is already creative with her poems and artworks. As a parent-advocate, Shwetha feels that there is so much of conflicting views on the internet about neurodiversity that it would help if parents are able to access reliable resources that would help them work with their child better. She wants to bring to the fore stories of special-needs parents who have focussed on their child's strength and passion to make the journey for all of them happier.
