@Metal Sign Why do you think enemies seem to be unable to notice brightly colored warframes standing 10 meters in front of them? It's not that they don't see you, it's that they are trying their hardest to pretend they haven't noticed the indestructible murderbot piloted by a Void demigod so they don't have to engage it in combat and be slaughtered.
The fact that Kahl 175 has customization options means he's coming back & staying. He is now part of the warframe-playable experience.

Erra being brought back as an Archon is a nice way to provide closure for those who expected to fight him, while also being a nice twist. Though, a twist I would have saved for the quest instead of putting it in the trailer.

@@patto3652 Erra died while keeping an entrance open for us after which, it collapsed on him. i didn't know that sentient that looked kinda like Erra in the trailer is him though, thought they just brought his cousin Arre or something. poor guy though, he realised he fucked up last second and helped the tenno, then he gets archon'd.
Playing as basically a grineer grunt really put into perspective how absolutely terrifying thos bio mechanical war gods/void wizzards really are. Also shows that any one deployed against us is basically doomed
really, i can cleave like 50 grineer into a fine pate for an elderly kubrow in seconds only taking a few hits as my zephyr, fighting a warframe as a grineer grunt with basically an uzi a couple grenades and an inflatable cushion must be goddamn nightmarish.
I want the pvp version of this so bad

I'm pumped to be able to go back and have more time fighting the Archons and other New War Sentients! Mid-New War was a really cool state for the game, and I'm happy that we'll seemingly be playing as other non-warframe characters again.
And we won't need to play it as a 2 hour stealth mission that can fail if you hold in a sneeze

Kinda looks like there will be a mission type about saving grinner from the sentients, like the Solaris on the granum tilesets but better implemented
Ngl, New War felt like a series of tech demos for new mission types where you control actual faction members. Instead of just being a contracted outsider

When he walked up to the grineer butcher, it gave me the thought that we may be able to play as different classes of grineer units. We already know some of Kahl's abilities (grenade, shield cover) but each unit has their own specials too AND we now have eximus specials!
This fixes my number one issue with the New War.
Both Kahl and Veso showed up, did something cool, then were never heard from again.
When Kahl was sacrificing himself to blow up the Condrix, you can notice the scene get red, and you can hear the noise as if Kahl was clasped by the veil. I always wanted to think he was still alive at that point, working to rescue his brothers in arms. Later in the story when we're aboard the sentient ships, Ordis says that they were capturing Grineer, which to me always felt like this empty plot hole.
Now if only we can learn what happened to Veso, hope he got a promotion for denying his superior who was literally going to hand the entire fleet over to the Sentients.
I doubt Veso is going to get a promotion for defying his boss. But there is a faction with a leader who highly values the working class exploited by the Corpus, and has saved shining examples from certain death before. Parvos has his sisters, but he might have gotten himself a new brother.
@@garrettbates9124 Rebb ford confirmed Veso died when his ship was blown up. Khal was left vague so DE could see how fans liked him
Veso hard-confirmed ded. He defied the Sentients, they went and blew up the ship, and it's both hard-confirmed Veso died, and it's implied Alad V died in that blast too.

I'm honestly more excited for this then the Duviri Paradox!! I like Kahl and I'm so happy he's still alive! I enjoyed playing as him during the New War and I can't wait to get those new armor sets for him!!

I haven't been following Warframe since Railjack and just tuned in for the trailers - what's happening with the dev team? Rebb got promoted to head of Warframe or something? That's cool to hear, she's been along for the ride since the beginning. Who else is staying on board and who's moving on?

I had a feeling Erra was still 'alive'. The Sun is strong, but Sentient adaptation is stronger.

I feel that what Erra has done to himself will make Hunhow angry. He seemed, I won't say disgusted, but maybe disapproved of the Archons. This is basically the mad scientist becoming his monsters.

tbh DE really gotta expand on these missions where you take the side of another faction and play thru their story. It would be cool to get story quests past and present on their POV. the new war really did this good and I really want more of it
i said this already but, to me, DE did a blunder, it would fit far more if the rogue-lite gameplay was from khal instead, being grineer it would be easy to explain his death and rebirth as just him being recloned. maybe an advanced cloning facility, or maybe we as operators choose to focus on cloning only a single soldier at a time, to maximize his quality(could even be part of the meta progression with getting stuff to make the clones better).
and we could send him to missions where warframes cant go due to heavy interference.
Kahl shows up recharging the Corinth Prime and the music of the Doomslayer begins to sound!

Getting to see more story from a point of view of different factions adds in a great way, makes me glad I'm on a warframe while allowing fun impactful moments that would be trivialized by using a warframe

I love the use of a reprised “For Narmer” in this trailer.
Originally, it was used as a perversion of “We All Lift Together”, both in musical structure and in the underlying message (someone more musically inclined could find a better term to describe the former). Here, the reprise represents a direct rebellion against Narmer.
We’re not going back the song’s roots - we’re not clinging to what we had before. There’s no turning back, Eternalism timey-wimey stuff notwithstanding. No, we’re building from the ashes of our defeat in the first act of the New War quest, as well as from the scars that still fester even after the end of the quest.
The New War isn’t truly over yet. The fighting has simply died down to smaller skirmishes such as the Narmer bounties and the weekly missions unlocked after completing the Veilbreaker quest. I can’t shake the feeling that Veilbreaker is perhaps just a prelude for a continuation of the New War
Maybe with the Duviri Paradox we get an in invasion from an alternative universe and we will have 2 wars?

now that battlfield 2042 its dead and almost buried i would really love a coop and pvp in this style
Also If you think about we already have a base since we have all open worlds and tilesets ,huge variety of models and weapons for each faction vehicles from both open worlds and railjack (asault the enemy ship and defend yours prove to be an excelent Mode on Battlefront 2 from pandemic let that be reminder or asault the titans from Battlefield 2142 in case you want to go Big since its the same concept + ground Battle and capture points so you can board the enemy ship )all its left its balanced and set a class sytem

On the plus side, if he does his shadow clone healing thing, I could clear out all his clones and hit him with my "Kahl of Duty" (Corinth Prime)'s Alt Fire.
I feel bad for seeing Erra as an archon, after seeing how he sacrifices himself and redeems for his actions, it is to me a cruel fate that they reuses his corpse.
It makes me so genuinely sad. 😭

The community as a whole thought DE forgot entirely about playing as something other than a warframe, glad to see that wasn't the case. Playing as Kahl was so much better than playing as a warframe imo, a breath of fresh air.

I know that the whole "For Narmer" is the main theme of the update here...B U T...If you listen closely, you will know that "Till I Collapse" Is just a good theme for Kahl's struggle... seriously, just listen to the first few seconds of this and try to listen for it...no cap.

It kinda looks like he's been Archon'd in much the same way as those Old War warframes that had a weird parasitic thing grafted onto their heads and upper bodies.

Gonna be honest, this trailer felt way more hype to me than Duviri Paradox and it's 100% just from the music choice.
Fingers crossed they release this version of For Narmer so we can listen to it without mushing the repeat button on the trailer.

That's great news, i was a bit taken aback by all the loose ends at the end of The New War, Narmer just being kinda there, the Sentient back to the background as an absolutely minor annoyance. I hope we'll see more of them, Murex invasions and the like, they were hyped a Le Big Bad for years and we just got a few events and little more.
I hope they'll take the time to revisit more storylines and advance the plots further, starting with the Grineer queens, and bring more depth and interactions between the various factions rather than having everyone constrained to their own little private playfield. Remember the orokin worm creatures in The War Within quest ? We never saw them again, for example. So many assets that were developped for next to nothing and never reused in a more permanent way.
Also playing as a Grineer renegade that you can customize. Yeah, that too. That's good.
I'm say it now pvp is going be reworked to corpus vs grineer using mechanics from this and previous main story solo mission
If they go that route, we need a mode where it's 6+ grineer/corpus players against a single Warframe.

@@meriscorditan2799 What microtransactions? Everything you buy with real money you can earn in game. All except cosmetics which look cool but don't affect your gameplay other than making you look cool.

I've played WF since beta and you can't tell me that it's a pain in the ass to get forma and potatoes without having to bend over backwards for them, have ridiculous luck or be around for limited time events. What about WF/Weapons/Companions/Vehicle/Archwing Weapons slots? Most of those are unachievable without platinum. And even if you're trading, SOMEONE has to have bought some at some time.
Let's also add the fact that there are several 'rare' resources in this game that are quite difficult to get a decent amount of, encouraging you to buy boosters. Not to mention that every expansion introduces even more resources; the cycle keeps continuing.
What about the massive time sinks to build most things in the game?
Most of these wouldn't be around in a 'proper' paid-for game.
