I made this and it was delicious. Thank you. Also, I would like to ask. What make my Atama to be bitter some times?

Omgoodness atama soup is very delicious mostly with periwinkles when one is in naija, yes it is good to sieve the palm juice like you did for unwanted visitors in the palm juice🎂it, it is different from okazi, this pot of soup is loaded with delicious proteins , well prepared and came out deliciously yummy, thanks for sharing sissy❤️👍🏾

I like the idea of pouring hot water on the palm fruit concentrate to get rid of sand. Mehh that shrimp and mackerel fish you added is wow, the outcome make sense

I'm utterly shocked! I'm from Calabar Municipal but we don't cook our Atama soup this way, we use natural ingredients not processed palm fruit. To your viewers who are not from Efik, Qua & Efut people of Calabar they may appreciate it. When we cook Atama soup you don't see palm oil running like palm oil stew in the pot bcoz we natural fresh palm fruit. And second we don't eat soup and garri or fufu in same plate, we put them in separate plates. These might sound funny but really it's the tradition, if you dish soup and garri in one plate to a real Calabar man he may not like it coz it's alien to us. Please next time when doing a video like this follow the tradition and do your research with the people that own the tradition and culture not Google or enquire from some an outsider. This is a culture we most follow the tradition of the people. Please I don't mean to disrespect you or your content but just a little piece of advice as a Calabar man👍

She mentioned that she is not in Nigeria,so where did you expect her to get fresh palm fruits?
