Hello there, how come mine is not connected to pc, after I plug it in, it still not connected

To get it show up when you connect your USB-C from your board to your PC 🤗
Windows defender is blocking the gp 200 software download on 3 different computers anyone know the solution? Thanks!

Hi, great video. I have an issue with my valetongp 200. I can’t connect my unit into my laptop for some reason. I’ve tried resetting my unit, changed cable and tried with my other laptop but nothing is working .Could anyone help me with this issue? Thanks.

There is no update now button on my software for the firmware. I’m so confused
Relax, take your time...
You only get to see the *Update Now* button after you've selected the Firmware file 🗃️ which usually ends with *".bin"*
Also you need to unzip the Firmware file after download

Hi and thank you for the great videos. I'm very new to guitar modelers. I bought a GP-200 and downloaded the latest firm/software - or thought I did. When I scrolled down to the "about" section in Global Settings, it says I still have version V1.2.1 firmware. It says nothing about the software. Do I need to be in a certain setting on the GP-200 for it to accept software updates/downloads? Plus, I can't see the Valeton screen on my PC monitor. I thought it would pop-up when I connected the GP 200 to my laptop.
Obviously, I'm VERY new to all this. Any help/advice is appreciated.
Ok.
1st Download the latest Software version
2. Download the latest firmware that matches the software version
3. Install the Software first
4. Watch this video to guide you on firmware update

@calebcadainoo thank you for your reply. I ended up figuring it out a little while ago. But now on to the next problem (and I'm sure I'll have more). I'm using the GP-200 through a Headrush 1x12 FRFR speaker for the 1st time. It doesn't sound like an "amp in the room" and it doesn't really sound like a Boogie, Marshall, or Bogner. It sounds more like a "processed" sound. I'm getting full sound, and I've figured out all the effects, amps, and cabinets but the sound isn't that great. Was I expecting too much? What I'm really trying to get out of this is a John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, and or, Michael Schenker type tones. Thoughts?

@@rberwaldt You would have to create/design the sound you want to achieve on the board.
When u play it through the output source, it would sound like how you needed it 🤗
@@calebcadainoo thanks again for your reply. As mentioned, I downloaded the firmware and software. I think I loaded the firmware first though. On my screen, it says V1.4.0. Does this mean it downloaded the software also? Sorry for the dumb questions but I want to be sure.

Hello there, just bought mine, I have the same problem connecting to PC, can you tell me how you found out, mine is 1.5.0 versions
If I updated mine with the last update... Will it have the content of the other 2 ? Or do I have to download all three ?
It will have all the content/effects of all the other releases

Any idea why it won't open the Bin File?
The BIN file is meant to be uploaded to the board through the software.
Also you have to unzip the downloaded files.
Head over to the Settings, then Firmware Update then u select the firmware/Bin file then click Update now

My valeton wont even connect to the software. Tried everything. Wish I never bought this piece of junk
Oops...have u tried changing the USB-C cable?
Probably what came with the board is broken.
Also the USB cable doesn't like heat when using it as a data transfer mode like on Valeton.
If the cable is in front of your heat vent of ur machine, it will most likely misbehave 🤗

@@timpullen4941 I have experimented with USB-C and heat especially on Mac and the Valeton it connects and disconnets
