He never cheated himself he never cheated the game, amazing quote from Barnes.
juma hamis Matt Barnes is a great speaker appreciate the kind words for the Mamba
Refuse to shoot in a game 7 playoff game
@@judahmourneth3211 coach phil said to use his teammates in game 7 do reasearch
Lightbringer more excuses for Kobe!!
And he never cheated us as Fans
Robert Horry is a humble man. "We knew when it was crunch time and we needed a bucket....." then proceeds to give kobe credit. Big Shot Bob is his nickname. Real fans of the sport know what I'm saying.
People forget that Horry has 7 rings. He helped Kobe secure his third championship in 2002 with that game 4 shot in WCF.
agree. but u also knows what he means. the play was for Bryant and Robert , Fish and others spaced the floor and hit the shots they needed to when Shaq or Kobe was stopped. it was awesome!!
"HORRY FOR THE WIN... YESSSSS!!!"
@@ernestogutierrez2673 it's taken me til sunday to not be shell shook from those exact words. Lifetime kings fan.. those words haunted me until sunday. I can finally get over losing in 2002.. now its probably gonna be another 20 years to cope with losing kobe. Loved to hate that man, but always respected him and loved to watch him.
@@luke56 strongest LAL was o'neal horry rice bryant fisher
Robert Horry, one of the clutchest NBA players of all time.
So sad he missed the potential game winner against the Spurs in game 5 2003... kobe should have taken the shot and dished it to Horry who barely missed ☹️
Ray Allen is more clutch and and shoot from dribble, creates space, or make plays and shoots the 3. Horry is merely a catch and shoot. Hardly any pressure on him defense wise. He can shoot with no pressure on him as he knows his role that the focus is not on him.
YESSSSSS! One of my favorites‼️♥️
@@Tanfo77 ray allen was a superstar lol.. he was only a role player in the later parta of his career
@@raffycarlo2940 My post is in response to OP. So yeah, not the most clutch really. Just happens to be in the right place at the right time which is what is expected of his role.
Richard Jefferson:
"Somebody was saying 'man we're not gonna get a Hall of Fame speech from Kobe Bryant,' and I was like 'he might have wrote that speech when he was nine-years old, because that's the type of person he was, the type of focus he had.'"
PG 13PACERNATION why don’t you just write it like a normal person and not: aNd I wAs LiKe
Why?

The way they talk in PAST TENSE is killing me right now. He's really gone. It really really hurts. I can't... It doesn't feel right...
Same. When I read Kobe's Wikipedia page right after he died, it said"Kobe Bryant WAS a basketball player". That had me in tears
Its sinking in now 4vme.
I loved kobe I'm so hurt
@Mike Lopez good for you Mikey 👍🏼
Me too bruh im so depress af
Kobe may be physically gone from the earth but he's in our hearts forever
Well said
Facts
Kobe is immortalized in everyones heart
THAT'S WHAT HE PLAYED FOR!!👍🏾🙏🏽
Kobe needs to be the logo. He represents the hard work that is puts in to be a nba player. It was so sad to see him die at such a young age and I think he should be the logo.
I agree. His silhouette should be the new logo for sure.
what will the logo looks like then
I’ll take anything 😁
it would definitely make jerry west happy. he doesnt even like being the logo.
MVP MVP bro that fax. It would be amazing😁
This was fantastic segment! So great to see Robert Horry, he is rarely in the media
He works for Spectrum L.A.

Robert is the best all time......hand down....just underrated
Matt Barnes have much respect for Kobe, man imagine Kobe didn't flinch
Moises Sobrepena theres a very good reason he didn’t flinch, but don’t look at the over head cam view. If you don’t wanna ruin the memory
@@shaunoneil1528 I got yah fam.

@@moisessobrepena75 it was still close , he made it sound like it was disappointing
Poker Beast yeah it wasn’t close at all, but I’m sure you would’ve flinched
One of many memories I have is when he had three straight 50 point games...he had 61 I think vs blazers and he hit a turnaround 3 pointer with two defenders in his face...Mabma ice cold
4 straight and that games was 65
The 62 in 3 quarters was my fav 🐍
4 straight 50+ was in the midst of 9 straight 40+ games.
Yeah man that year Kobe was unbelievable!!
He hit a couple game winners that year aswell!!
@@erisjohnperez7414 Saw D Wade say before a game, he saw Kobe shoot the same exact shot in shoot around for 15-20 minutes straight. Also, I've heard stories of him shooting in practice, as in game scenarios, so, whatever he did in game, he probably did something similar in practice. I've heard Dirk would do the same thing.
The older brother some of us we never had. An example of overcoming with work work work and the best mentality. The guy with who you could never argue, as he is always right. An inspiration. See you later, dear Kobe.
Pedro Bartolomé Nobody is always right we learn everyday

Matt Barnes is a warrior. Love that brother's heart.

Wow Matt Barnes is so well spoken. I’m glad he’s found a passion as an analyst/tv personnel. Proud of him!
Woke up this morning telling myself it was just a bad dream. 💔😭 ... I'm gonna tell myself the same thing tonight when I sleep. and the night after that until I admit to myself he's really gone.

Favorite Kobe moment is when he dislocated his right shoulder and shot both free throws with the left before they popped it back in place 💪
Big Shmoke I like the Matt Barnes no flinch better, when I saw that as a kid I was like this dude is really that focused lol
Eshwar tangirala bro I could go on and on all day about Kobe moments. I mean look at how many reverse under the basket slams and 360 dunks this man did in traffic on the biggest centers and forwards in the league. These are 9-10 rated dunk contest dunks landing on niggas heads. Ridiculous.
Robert Horry is so soft spoken and just seems like a gentle kind of guy. Unless you're competing against him that is.
R.i.p 2 the greatest basketball player in my life time no disrespect 2 any other players tht was great but 2 me Kobe Bryant was the greatest player reat in peace Kobe and his daughter gigi
Rest in Peace Kobe you inspired me from a young age, you will never be forgotten you will always be in my heart.
It was these small things he did on and off the court that we remember his courageous spirit by, the man was a king Mamba, rest in peace Kobe ✊✊✊
Good to see Robert Horry and Matt Barnes smiling of the good times (I’m sure they are still tragically in shock still/off camera), but good to see them sharing good memories of KB
This is what I needed, finally a segment where they remember him in their stories and cherishing all the great and funny memories of him, the stone on my heart feels a little lighter after this.
ROBERT HORRY WITH AN ALL TIME GREAT STORY. WOW. Growing up watching those games I used to always wonder. Not anymore.
It's great to hear these stories man I have much love for all you guy's.I would get so excited watching you guys play some of the greatest times in my life here on earth.
Nice to hear his friends keepin' it real. Kinda helps ease the sadness. Yep, Horry & Fisher were great! Loved their 3 pointers.....
His presence and absence has an everlasting weight. The sudden heavy silent can't go away 🥀🎈
2nd time here.. remembering Kobe 😔😔😔
Matt Barnes is a great commentator. You need to get him on the show more or have him do a game.
Young Kobe Bryant always had been a 🐐 since when he was in high school and he was as himself growing up to be an adult until at the age of 41 unfortunately. Rest in peace 😔🙏🏾💔
Mann..... Kobe built this legacy and just retired then passed away... life isn't fair. Hold the people you love close and enjoy every moment.
kobe😢💔
Much love to Kobe and the Bryant family!
Be the nicest person you can be by adapting and loving, but express your greatness through your speciality, no matter what you’re gonna face -execute it with maximum effort, and pure passion.
I learned it from Kobe
Kobe Bryant's stories will never be forgotten, they are among the best! Respect to Kobe's teammates: Barns and Horry
"Life can change so fast, so unexpectedly. Love when you can, while you can, as much as you can." (Mandy Hale) Thoughts and prayers to each and every family member and friend impacted by this tragedy. 💔🙏
These guy's are spittin facts
Still loss for words Rest on KB GiGi friends.
Glad to see happy funny memories from former players, it’s just refreshing to see teammates celebrate his life rather than mourn him over and over. Sad YES , but celebrate his life.. 🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏾💪🏾
I miss you Kobe. 😭😭😭
Still can’t watch an entire an entire Kobe video, It’s gonna be a while.😢
May God bless and keep his family.

Today marks the 11 months since we Lost Kobe & Gigi~Gone to soon~ WE STILL LOVE YOU MAMBA!
I am glad to hear he thanked God for his talent. Sounds like it resonated with him the drop of greatness he was given. I never knew these things about him til now. He lived the life he was given to the fullest. We are not promised tomorrow, and only what we do for Christ will last.
Happy heavenly birthday my idol mamba! We miss you. 🎂

Rest in Peace in Kobe Bryant
I remember watching an interview about Kobe Bryant with Robert Horry. How Robert started off saying he got traded to The Lakers during his rookie year. And, talked about how he learned from him, Shaq, and B. Shaw. Guys who have been to The Finals. And, how he didn't push hard on them to win a championship. But, when they all left, he know how Kobe had to push hard on a different group of guys in order to get those other two. And, Kobe took what he learned from those guys and pushed the same things on another group of individuals.
It’s going to be hard tomorrow on Lakers home game
Caleb Wong postpone bro
They canceled it
Dylan Rademacher not entirely pairs postponed
Man I love these war stories
2 out of 3 people i love hearing from. Anyone interested in Rachel Nichols stories right now?
Its sad seeing barnes and others pain when discussing this and it really pains.
Great interview

Miss you Kobe
i remember meeting robert horry when he first came to san Antonio and i told him i didn't like u as a rocket or a laker and probably got on his nerves but then he came thru for us (spurs)
In the honor of David Stern and Kobe Bryant they MUST do their best in All Star Weekend
Best game with deffence
Lebron, Giannis, Gordon, LaVine for SlamDunk contest
Just do it for David and Kobe
Ингеборга Дапкунайте
I’m pretty sure the Lakers and the entire league aren’t to sad or care about David Stern right now. Honestly. Every team should have to embroider a KB patch on their uniforms in honor of KB not just a black strip for David Stern
Ингеборга Дапкунайте Un
David Stern ripped the chance for Kobe to surpass MJ in rings by denying the CP3 trade. Screw him
One team should wear the #8 and the other team should wear #24
lebron not taking no loss for kobe bruh lmao
KOBE Was A Very KiND, and SMART MAN. He WiLL Be Missed.
Everybody will miss Kobe Bryant
Matt Barnes traveled across states to fight somebody. I didn’t forget
It´s a tragedy and the worst is obviously the 9 people being dead. But it´s also sad that icons/heroes/legends like Kobe never really see how much the world cares when they die. He wasn´t the first, he won´t be the last to make a world cry.
Great stories
Kobe forever
Kobe after the Utah misses was the time he like it time to go and work
Te amo Kobe Frijól Bryant.
Best thing this All-Star game could do is be competitive that would represent so well . Play hard all game like it means something just for Kobe competitive but fun . Would love to see that !
One team should wear the #8 and the other should wear #24

Matt Barnes is really coming into his own as an ESPN personality. He's very good at this.
He has his own show “all the smoke” with Stephen Jackson. They had just recently interviewed Kobe

Same thing I thought. It feels good to see/ hear them but it's unfortunate under these circumstances.
It’s still hard to believe
