Arsenal fan and I have to say he has everything you want in a fullback. Good defensively, good first touch and passing, pace, tremendous workrate, and, finally, a devastating cross. It's insane how cheap Liverpool got him for and how he was in a relegated team last season. Best LB in the league.
His most important trait is heart and will, as an arsenal fan you could use a lot more players with that in your squad

He didn't get many opportunities to go forward at Hull. Was wasted there IMHO. Big ups to the LFC scouts. They knew exactly what they were looking for and found the perfect candidate.

That boy is amazing. He was a good player at Hull, but in Liverpool he is on the verge of becoming one of the best out there for sure. And with Klopp I think he has the perfect ground to improve even further. His speed is blistering, his crosses are crazy good and in the defensive part of the game he is out there with the best in the League. I haven't been so amazed by a defender playing for Liverpool for such a long time. But now him and VVD have the potential to solve some of our long lasting problems at the back. Keep up the good job, Robbo :)))

He is fast but not one of the fastest, what stands out the most for me is Robertson is really smart, while Moreno is reckless. Robbo knows when to keep running with the ball or when to release an early cross. Same when defending, he is not reckless, if he can tackle the ball he will do it, if he can't then he will only give a high pressure to the player with the ball without a reckles tackle
He doesn't go in( tackle) unnecessary which is what the defender is all about. And i think Liverpool should give him a chance to take free kick which i think he can do a good job too!

Extremely underrated. Has a great footballing brain and is so aware of what's around him. Couple this with his fitness and technique and the guy will consistently be one of the best for years to come. Anyone can see that this season won't be a "one off" in terms of how well he's done. The guys got the gravel in his gut to churn out quality for many years. #desire
What makes me love this boy is his workrate and his awareness. And he has a pace, passion and great skill . He is gonna be one of the best if he keeps going on with that consistency.

he's hardworking with decent pace and good crossing ability. generally calm under pressure, tenacious and disciplined. he pretty much has the ingredients to be a great full back.

I remember in pre-season that game against Berlin where he was subbed on for the first time and his like first touch of the game, which also was the first one of his LFC career, was a shot on goal from like 30 yards out. I remember thinking 'dang, he's brave!'.
