Delay and why should the abrahamic religions take any priority over the thousands of others? - they may have many more followers but each contradicts the other and are all totally devoid of any empirical evidence of there claims. Man has been on this earth for several hundred thousand years, why did the abrahamic god ( in any of the 3 guises) only reveal himself in the last few thousand years? - in the case of islam only 1400 years ago. Did he not care about the countless generations that preceded? Obviously not - religion is largely a function of geography. Each local areas enforces the local religion/tradition without thinking and quite often without choice. The damage these vile institutions cause ( they are all guilty but islam is by far the worst) is almost beyond measure. Education is the only cure , but religion tries to control that too.

The Tanakh points out to messiah/maschiah, there are pophecies like in jeremiah about second covenant, Isaiah 52 chapter end part and chapter 53 about coming messiah and also in Isaiah the promise of coming messiah that will be named Immanu-el= God With Us. Also in prophets you will find the miraculous virgin birth etc. In cross Yeshua refered to the psalm 22, with the first sentence of the psalm. But in Injeel nothing points to third covenant, only in the Revelations of Yochanan/John, there is the future prophesies and warnings of anticrist. Surely truth will not burn in fire and will not be less when you have first hand information of all scriptures.⚠️
