Got it last week and I couldn't be happier. For the price it's by far the best desk on the market.
Nice, i am agree with you.
Hey, I got another desk from IKEA with adjustable legs and it is frustrating as I have to readjust it every day. How do they adjustable legs work on this one? Do you need to tighten them and they hold in place with pressure? Or are the bolts drilled into the leg through holes (which is what I would prefer)?
@@xarisa6589 Utespelare height can be adjust manually.
To do this, on each legs, you have to loosen the screw and then manually pull up or down to desired height.
IKEA never gave a clear instructions about this. If you open CZcams search for IKEA singapore channel and search "Utespelare desk". There is a brief scene on how to adjust the height.
Hope this helps.
Is the mesh of steel to hold monitor optional? I have monitor arms so im just wondering.
@@SpidermanAteMyDog actual mess isn't strong enough. I also found the metal bit too thin and slippery but I managed to clamp the arms on the actual desk and it works like a charm
I'm looking for a desk, this is the next review I've seen. Thanks
Really good review I’ve decided to get this thanks! 🙏
Your welcome
Thanks. Planning on buying it this week and wanted to see the width and the video shows that really well.
thanks man, rare review of this desk
Your welcome
Up to the point, very good review mate!
Thanks you 👍
nice but how would you mount a monitor arm for two monitors
Regarding the mesh which holds the cables, under the desk. Does it interfere with a footrest? Just wondering if the bar connecting both sides is too low and would limit how far i can stretch my legs at "chair seat level"?
There should be no problem & no interferance. The amount of space underneath the table is spacious & it's pretty tall.
Durung my test, i can stretch my leg without problem. ( my height is 165 cm)
LOL THAT VOICE MY GOD. Sounds like Ownage Pranks.
Eh...? i just check ownage pranks yt channel, sounds funny 🤣
Which is more comfortable the tabletop indent facing towards you or away from you?
I would like to know the depth of the steel mesh ( with the wood borders ) that's at the end of the table. If anyone can help ill be thankful 🙏
How big is the wooden part of the desk without the metal mesh?
Nice review man . I was wondering how some reviews the front is a whole piece and the others are having some kind of a cut out . This video answered my question . It's very cool you can rotate the tablet and choose between these options . I like to be more near the desk so the "cut out" option is better for me . Thanks , I hope I can purchase this desk soon !
Glad i can help. 👍
Nice rewiew mate! 🙏
Thank you
Is the metal mesh at the back at the same level as the desk? my monitor stand goes back quite a bit so would I be able to have it partially on the mesh part without worrying about it wobbling due to the mesh being higher or lower than the desk?
Sorry if that's a super wordy way to ask xD
While the outer frame is the same level. However the mesh part is not. (The mesh is lower).
But it is still safe for monitor stand (if your monitor stand is wide or large).
It's okay to ask, no problem 😁👍
Great video! I was wondering if the metal mech at the back can support any weight? I have my PC on my desk and the corner of it would be sitting on the mesh would it be an issue?
If only a partial of PC sit on the mesh, i guess it's okay.
It's strong, but not that strong.
Hi, I have a dual 27" monitor setup but I'm looking to put my pc on the same desk instead of placing it below or on a separate drawer unit. Is the Ikea Utespelare wide enough? Appreciate any help, thanks!
Yes it is wide enough for a pc. And it depends on how much weight is your PC ?
Usually IKEA tabletop can withstand weight until 50 kg.
But for me personally, i put my PC on the floor.
how much cm long only the desk without grid
i was looking for a desk cheaper than the overpriced magnus and i think i find it, ty bro awesome
What about mounting on the back? Looking to mount 2 monitors and a LP mic arm. Any thoughts??
Love the table and the review!
I have never seen people mount 2 monitors. (Maybe you can look or ask in another channel/forum/internet).
It should be good with 1 monitor and 1 mic arm.
a double mount is fine
Thanks man just bought one after your review
How much was it?
I can’t find any in stock, I’m in the uk btw 😕
@@dilaraxx123 here in Kuwait's IKEA the silver color was available and I got to say after two days of using the table I'm fucking loving it, here it costs about 85 quid pretty decent if you ask me for a table in this high quality.
@@FatFlash cam you tell me mate what is the legs width?
@@spalonaszafka4132 what do u mean? Like the distance between the legs i. The opposite direction?
Bro thank you man grape review
White one seems to be sold out everywhere. Here in Denmark I can't find it anywhere.
Yes, in my country also sold out really fast.
How do i install a monitor arm on the steel mesh frame ?
I don't use arm monitor, sorry i can't answer your question.
does the light grey appears white ? cuz the furniture in my room is white and i was wondering if the grey color in it is too obvious . thanks in advance :)
Hmm it depends on your light room. Sometimes it can appears white or a bit greyish.
You know it's like there's a thin line between light grey and white. It's really ambiguous.
Thank you
Can we attach the Monitor Stand to the back of this Table? please let me know :)
Hi, i don't use monitor stand. But i've seen other used it. So i guess, yes you can used it on this tabletop. It should be fine.
Nice review! Are you a Bond villian? You sound like the last one!
Thanks bro. I sound like a Bond villain ? First time i hear this 🤣🤣🤣
Is the mesh of steel to hold monitor optional? I have monitor arms so im just wondering.
The mesh steel is already include in the package.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING Im asking if you have to put it on, like if its option to have it on
@@SpidermanAteMyDog oohhh i get it.
You don't have to put it on, but it will looks ood.
The desk will looks like uncompleted.
Can I put my pc at the top
Too bad the white one's already sold out in our country. Should I wait them to restock? Or just buy the black one although its a fingerprint magnet
Yes in my country also out of stock. They told me to wait for 2-3 weeks to restock. I don't know about other country.
If you are in a hurry buy the black one. Or you can wait (make sure to contact and ask IKEA store nearby, when they will restock it again)
I meaan just clean more often
maaf pak, mau tanya untuk ikea alam sutera apa masih perlu register sehari sebelum kunjungan ya?
Halo, tidak perlu register. Langsung datang saja, yang penting punya sertikat vaksin di aplikasi peduli lindungi.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING terima kasih infonya
Really good reveiw, can you remove the back mesh bit?
Thanks man, unfortunately you can't remove or shift the back mesh position.
Maybe you can asked or look for more information about this in another source.
Hacksaw... 🤣🤣
Am I able to use a monitor mount on this desk?
Sorry i can't answer this, because :
1. I don't use monitor arm / monitor mount.
2. I think the desk is not thick enough for monitor arm/mount.
3. Maybe you can ask or search in another yt channel or forum.
Thanks for the detailed review.
I'm Sold!
How strong is It?, Is strong enough to hold the computer's tower?, I ask this because I have got two dogs and in order to avoid two much dust and my dog's hair currently I have got my computer's tower on the desk
Thanks in advance!
Yes it is strong enough to hold computer tower. As for me, i put it on the floor.
what's the mesh table top part for?
Mesh table top has 2 function:
1. To clamp monitors or other gadget
2. Airflow to reduce heat, if you put cpu under the table.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING If it were solid it could still mount clamps or other gadgets. I don't think anyone cares about the airflow the TABLE provides either. Otherwise, table looks solid.
@@beariyy3872 that's the only info i got about the mesh table top.
Спасибо за видео .!!!
is the desk strong enough to use a monitor arm?
Yes it is strong enough. I have seen other using clamp monitors, but i don't know how big the size of the monitor.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING and pc?
@@medi6892 yes PC too
do you think I can mount my two monitors on the mesh part?
In theory, Yes you can mount 2 monitors. But i've never seen other mount 2 monitors.
Perhaps someone else can help answer this ?
@@SWEDENFURNISHING thanks 😁 !
Hi, how much weight it can hold? Can it hold a gaming PC and 2 monitors?
Usually IKEA desk can hold 30-50 kg, but the weight should be distributed to several points.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING thankss, just bought it yesterday, still waiting for it to come on monday. Hopefully it really can hold up my CPU (15kg) and 2 monitors (4kg and 6 kg)
@@MuhammadKRezzahow's it, I am planning for it
@@yosemite4realso far so good, it can handle my mid tower CPU and two monitors (27 and 24 inch) very well
but how about put the pc tower on it ?can hold it good ?
Is it big bulky and heavy ? The IKEA staff said they don't recommended you to put anything excessive.
But in theory you could put the PC tower. Because usually IKEA tabletop can hold weight up to 50 kg.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING it’s the rog Helios case !!!
@@zoldy5338 i don't know much about PC, but i have seen other put their PC tower (i don't know the type).
So i guess you can also put it on.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING anyway thanks for the reply bro keep the good work
@@zoldy5338 👍👍👍
can i use a monitor arm?
In theory, yes you can.
But i don't use a monitor arm, so i don't know exactly what, how or the side effect using it on this desk
Maybe somebody can help answer this ?
Por qué no ponen un vídeo del montaje en español de la mesa
Do you think this would be strong enough to hold a TV?
Hmm it's a bit strange to put a tv. Eventough this desk max load is 50kg, i wouldn't recommended to do it.
u are genius man. this review is useful for me
Thanks man 👍
good review, you have tamil accent
Errr what ?! I am 100% Indonesian. 😂. Anyway thanks for watching 👍.
Couldn't they have at least used black bolts. Ordered mine today...
my only turn off is the back part seems useless, your monitors and everything are barely touching it. seems like I would just remove it and have a less wide desk
anyone know the dimensions of the mesh part?
Mesh part only, height 1.5 cm, depth 14.5 cm, width 155 cm.
Overall width 160 cm, overall depth 20 cm
@@SWEDENFURNISHING Thank you
But what about the load weight on the table top?
I looked info about it, but i can't find it anywhere.
Usually Ikea tabletop maximum weight load is 50 kg.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING Really?? Thank you very much for letting me know. I don't know why but Ikea NEVER display the maximum weight load for their desks. It's good to know that it is 50kg, usually. Once again, thank you very much!!
@@fvgoya your welcome
It's 50kg. It's on Ikea's website under "dimensions".
im looking for like this desk that have the ability to change height so i can lower it down to 65 cm so my arms can rest & be happy
perfect gaming table. Just one thing, out of stock >.
Yeah, in my country it's also out of stock. Only black color available.
Back in stock !
I just got one
Problem with this table - it wobbles left and right.
Yeah i've found this, I've been searching reviews to see if anyone mentioned it.
As I thought there is no cross-support and the desk it's self pretty long (160cm). This guy gently poke the desk and said there is no wobble at all!
to bad they dont have a wooden look of the desk
Yes too bad, only 2 color options.
@@SWEDENFURNISHING maybe in the future, cause i like the desk very much, tempted to go buy one 😅
@@BelgianSimRacing just wait and see for 3-4 months, according to ikea staff, they sell this while stock last.
If this desk goes popular, maybe they Will continue sell this under a different names.
(Example linnmon changes into lagkapten, or tarendo changes into sandsberg)
Do you know the legs width? Is nowhere info about that.
I don't know. I have checked IKEA website and no info either. I will try to measure it for you tomorrow when i go to ikea store.
