- In today's video my friend Alysse, and I, give you guys a campus tour of The University of Texas at Austin! We started the tour at Moody College of Communications and made our way to the Texas Union, the Tower, Speedway, PCL, McCombs School of Business, and so many more iconic spots on campus.

I appreciate this, ut's current "virtual tours" are subpar...you can't see the campus. They show you a few pics and talk about the school, but it can't give you that feel, yk?

Loved this! I graduated in 1992, Computer Science & Math, and except for some new buildings it's still just like I remember. I'm pretty sure I parked my bike at the exact same bike racks outside Kinsolving when I used to go there for lunch. :) Best wishes on your upcoming school year!

This was actually great you guys. I'm hopefully coming for grad school in the fall and haven't ever been on campus (despite living in Austin 500 years ago).
loved this video! i toured back in 2016 and my mom went to UT Austin and i have a pic of me at the turtle pond when i was 8! hoping to go here for grad school:)

Just graduated 2020 with mathematics! This campus is home and honestly we took over this place! So glad I’ve walked through the finish line because every day is a struggle but a blessing 😂🙏🏽

Hey Horns! Thanks for the vid. It came up in my suggestions. I didn't know what a lot of the acronyms stood for or what discipline was housed in there. I am not sure if they are new since I was there 1980-1984 or if I forgot. Also, sometimes buildings get renamed. You used to be able to save your Co-op receipts and submit them for a little payout at the end of the year, in addition to selling your books there. The Architecture building has a cool courtyard with a reflection pool. I cut through that building when I was new on campus and stumbled upon it. Are the buildings open to go in?

There's honestly nothing wrong with that. Unless you're attending some random ass private liberal arts school in the middle of Ohio, chances are you'll be receiving similar education if you end up going to a state school. Like, UT might have a great engineering program or something, but you won't be getting a bad engineering degree if you went to Florida State you know?

Didn’t they announce a while ago classes will be in person just cut short in that y’all don’t come back after thanksgiving but people have the option to do just online if they want or with cases on the rise they have revised that?

This used to be a beautiful campus, but it has nearly been ruined by extreme overbuilding. Rich people give money for buildings so that their name will be on them. As much attention should be given to improved teaching and learning. The South Mall and West Mall are still nice, but not much grass otherwise. Check out the courtyard of the Home Economics Building (probably not called that anymore). The football stadium looms over all, reflecting the values of this university.
