The Japan men's national volleyball team (Japanese: 男子バレーボール日本代表) represents Japan in international volleyball competitions and friendly matches, governed by Japan Volleyball Association. Their nickname is "RYUJIN NIPPON (龍神 NIPPON)", meaning "Japanese Dragon God" or "Dragon God of Japan" in Japanese.[1] Japan won a bronze medal at the Tokyo 1964 Olympic Games, followed by silver at Mexico 1968 and a gold at Munich 1972. The years after this have been less successful. Japan missed three successive Olympic Games before returning at Beijing 2008, where they failed to win a match. Japan then failed to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games and also missed Rio 2016 after finishing seventh at the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tokyo.
The France national men's volleyball team represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. It was the reigning European Champion in 2015 and is ranked 2nd (as of 25th July 2022) in the FIVB world ranking. France have been competing in the World League ever since the inaugural edition in 1990 and continuously since 1999. In 2006 they finished second to Brazil but had their share of disappointment in subsequent seasons. In 2009 they narrowly missed making the Final Six, falling at the last hurdle to Slovenia. They suffered another setback in 2010 when they again missed the finals and finished 12th.

I like how the Japanese team improved individually. Ishikawa was not the only one who can make points now. He's not getting tired jumping all thru out the game unlike the previous sessions. Glad he got a nice teammates now. ❤

Acting like Ren, Nishida and Yamauxhi… wasnt already doing that, i get what you mean , but ishikawa was neevr the only one, it’s that they lack of strengths and decisions making, like Nishida has speed and strength n Ishikawa had the iq and decsion making
@@ten10dae96if you following Japan since Yuki join in senior team you will understand why people before always say Japan is all about ISHIKAWA...he became Japan ace/all round player at a very young age,best receiver,best blocker,best server and on top of that always team top scorer.,coz of that he didn't join superlega 2015/16 season coz of NT tournament exhaustion.,he is really overused before but now Japan team evolved and yuki's burden lesser.

who else a big fan of Nishida? He had been struggling after illness but he had never given up.
I’m always be a fan of his no matter what. I became a volleyball fan because of him. Understandable, he is also human and it’s okay to be off night sometimes. Nevertheless, he is still one of the top scorers in Japan and always been amazing to watch. I am just glad that there is someone to fill him in, in Miyaura.
I see him played strong and there is no illness. All the teams out there already know how he played and coaches been study him that is why he been blocked by other teams left to right... That is why he sit on the bench and Kento Miyaura took his spot... No one able to block Kento simply because he's a fairly new to other players...

@@majestytd that’s true people are studying nishida but what makes you think that the other years they studied nishida and couldn’t stop him? He’s battled injury with his shoulder and back pain so he’s been on and off. He will be back stronger
I think Japan is the top team this year, and they're all very good and good at general performance. Awesome. I'm cheering for this team. I love it.🥰👍👍🔥💯💥
While Japan is always entertaining to watch, this is primary A team players vs B team of France. Most teams at VNL (especially first rounds) use B and C players to give them practice time and figure out future stars.

Sorry to say, Nishida has been really underwhelming lately. Seeing how well kento miyaura play reminds me on how good nishida was in 2019 wc
That's bound to happen because all teams know that it's gonna be bad if he gets going so he's the first one that should be neutralized. The other teams know how to handle him now because the attention has been on him for multiple years now so he's been well studied by the other teams. It's great that Nishida isn't the only one who can score big points for Japan now, it's a team sport after all.
Also we shouldn't tear Nishida down to build up others. We can just praise Miyaura! The whole team is crazy. Takahashi, Ishikawa, Sekita, Nishida, Miyaura?? All monsters. I'm sure the rest of the team is talented folks we don't know abour
which is why I love the current strategy, I'm not really following Japan team to a T, but I remember first time seeing Nishida a lot during the world cup (especially after the infamous 6 aces) so he got a lot of lights on him. But now Ishikawa, Ran, and the middle (Onodera and Kentaro) can all attack. Then this Miyaura guy came out of nowhere and break everything, which kinda like how Nishida once was. Philip and his team really doing a good job making this Japanese team well rounded on defence and attacks

Nishida took an extended break last year due to unexplained illness. He's back on the court but they still don't know the cause of his illness. Yes, we all want to see Nishida does well, and we somehow get disappointed if his performance does not meet our expectations. But let's remember he's a person just like us before he is a player❤
