Tripods are underrated regardless if you go with a value tripod or a top-of-the-line one. The magic of a camera being locked off is incredible for a huge variety of shots.
It’s funny that video focused people think these cameras are “big and bulky,” but the A7IV is the perfect size if you shoot photos and have larger lenses and the A7CII is too small. Like, I’m not shooting photos with a 70-200 for hours at a time on the A7CII.

I use the a7cii and the Tamron 35-150 all day. then swap to the 40mm f2.5 when I walk around. I love that camera!
