Hahah hell yeah man, I went to one with my brother in Raleigh May 2nd, they had to come back due to it being an outdoor theater which it had stormed during the actual date sometime last year. They fucking killed from 'No One Knows' in the beginning to closing it off with 'A song for the death'. Fucking unbelievable man!

Seen them a few times but seeing them last week in Melb, Aus, was the greatest gig I’ve ever been to. Loved it. Their energy, the set, the sound, more intimate venue (SMMB)- so so gold. Thanks so much QOTSA.
I agree in full. The SMMB was a great choice of venue. They played tighter than the "A night with Tool" show there in the late 00s which speaks for itself. The Torquay show the night before Melb was also absolute musical mastery and such a beautiful place for a gig outdoors by the sea. Near some of the most famous surf beaches and coastline in the world.
I first saw them 24yrs ago. I think I paid $37 for the hectic big day out sideshow gig at the Corner Hotel in Richmond in 01 or 03 when BDO tix were under $100 for tens of top bands (those years are blending together these days) and they were high AF that entire tour while still holding down solid sets. I lost count of how many festival, headline and support QOTSA gigs I'd attended in Aus, EU and nth/sth America by the late 2010s (30 or more). As a musician who is sick of being let down by countless big name bands that suck live since the 90s, I've always held QOTSA in the highest regard for their incredibly tight live performances and amazing live sound, with generally top notch mixing. Not only have they produced several of my all time favourite records, they consistently match and better their recorded music live, decade after decade. I thought they were extremely tight at Soundwave in the 2010s and their last gigs in Aus in 2018, but they're currently at a peak that very few bands ever reach. This entire tour is a true benchmark for all live bands. I pray they all live to play in Aus again in a few years time max and this musical peak continues into Josh's mid to late 50's and beyond. If Tool and others can do it, I'm sure QOTSA can.
I introduced an expat Russian friend to them in Torquay and they were in awe. Every song was better than their albums or other live recordings I'd shown him in the lead up. My only issue was picking my jaw up off the grass after both shows!!!
