Thanks for the tour of the rose gardens, too. Very enjoyable. Today’s trip reminded me of the visit I made to Japan in 1993, which was a cultural exchange between my vocal quartet, and one from Japan. We learned ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) in a community center like the one you visited. And I always loved trying different drinks from the vending machines! So much fun, although occasionally you got one like Frisk! 😂
Thanks for the tour, Usui, and for sharing your Spider-Man friends with us! I hope Lego Spidey enjoys his new friends. You’d better be careful, though. You may need to pay for a bigger apartment soon, or put your bed up on stilts so you have more storage space! 😂

You show your life is made of simple pleasures like the capsule toys and going to McDonald’s but really about living in Tokyo. Thank you for sharing how you do daily tasks within your micro-apartment. This video answered many of my questions. My husband loves a McDonald’s McMuffin meal also, it costs about $9 USD here.

The rose gardens must have smelled amazing, I loved the miniature village scenes, just my thing as I love making miniature houses. My favorite new Spider-Man is the one reading the paper, shows he’s keeping up with what’s happening in the world. Lego Spider-Man is still my favorite, there is so much history with the two of you, he is like a family member.😊
Of course the BEST Spiderman is LEGO Spiderman 👍

"I'm a night person" ... Yep, that's how I feel too and when I changed jobs and could no longer work late shifts 13 months ago .... I'm glad that I now work from home because then I don't have to get up until 7am when I start work at 7.40am, before I had to get up at 6am 😢😂 In my previous job I usually had late shifts starting at 4.15/4.30pm and that was a dream for me!!! I still haven't gotten used to the early hours 💀

Bonsai looked stunning but moss gardens are my favourite. I'd love to go to a gachapon store as we don't have anything like that in England - I'm sure I'd spend a fortune on anything with cats! 😸

I adored the rose garden, I particularly loved the Bonsai exhibit. I knew about Bonsai trees, but have never seen the little small landscapes before, they were so creative and beautiful.
I am lucky there are lots of parks in my city and they all have very unique features, none of the them are the same so I like to spend time in them and also looking arounfd different musuems and galleries. We have also just recently had a capsule toy store open too, they are lots of fun.
And thank you for the review of Frisk, next time I go to the Japanese supermarket I know too avoid this drink.

I’ve bought a lot of capsule toys in Japan, but your Spiderman ensemble is the best! Also, the models with the bonsai are lovely. Nobody can top Japanese dioramas (especially those at the Edo Tokyo museum).

You have been looking at other micro-apartments and slowing them to us. Some of the apartments you looked at were really nice, but you never showed any intent to move out of your current micro-apartment. I wondered why -- until I saw in this video the monthly rent you are paying for you current micro-apartment. It is 390,000 yen (~ 245 USD) only! If you are comfortable living in less than 8 squared meters, that monthly rent is too attractive to give up. 😄

Great video of your holiday! My favorite was the bonsai village with tiny fish. When I visited Tokyo, I was surprised that vending machines offered whiskey! I like newspaper Spiderman but Lego Spiderman is my favorite. I would appreciate your vlog if you decide to do it. Thank you! 😸

I love a McMuffin for breakfast. So easy. I wish the US did liquid sweetener for unsweetened tea. That’s cool. (I also like the electric razor. I doubt it induces the ecstasies that that Panasonic ad suggests, but it’s nice that it is compact and not shaped to fall over.)

Frisk looks like it would taste like mouthwash. The toys are fun and very detailed. I like them all, but the pizza one is cute. I could see Spiderman stopping for a quick slice of pizza. Crime fighting makes him hungry.

Hi Usui! I like the selfie-Spidey and the newspaper Spidey, but you are right the original you have is the best! What Holiday are you celebrating in Japan that you are home from work? I was in Japan for Golden Week - it was nice.
I miss traveling to Japan and able to go shopping in stores. In the US, theft and store robberies are so common that many stores closed. We are forced to buy almost everything online and never need to leave home these days.

$2000HK is pretty much what we'd pay here. I'd probably change the washer for a wardrobe. I'd never cook anything more than instant noodles and toast bread so no need for a refrigerator 😂😅
I had to laugh with being full from an egg mcmuffin and a terryaki burger, a north american egg mcmuffin will leave you as empty feeling as when you started.
