Thanks mr. Fusing Shop. Mine is really cool and actually glpws in the dark but is also super covered in gunk so much so that it's pitch black on the bowl, but this really cleaned it.
I recommend a product called Grunge Off, which requires no alcohol, salt, or shaking. Simply fill the pipe with the solution, let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight, and rinse with warm water. 😊
You can also use isopropyl which is cheaper, but yep the 190 EC is better (but a good bit more expensive), and a bit of electrical tape to seal up two of the ends. Then just a bit of salt and alcohol inside of it and shake it up, this technique uses less overall but does require that you keep better control of it while shaking it.
Hi CJ! I've tried iso in the past and I've found that it doesn't remove the stuck on spots unless you hit it with a pipe cleaner. For more complicated pipes, like a recycler, it's difficult to clean the bends with pipe cleaners so I like to soak them in Everclear, shake it, and 90% of the time I have a crystal clear pipe. All the best! Sim
@@FusingShop Yea, that's true. Just giving a little advice for those in a pinch. If you got the money, Ever Clear 190 is THE BEST that I know of to clean glass paraf. with. If you can only afford 99% isopropyl, it'll do in said pinch. Also, to save your EC or Iso, you don't have to use a bag. Just put some electrical tape on the mouth piece hole, and the carb hole of your pipe, and any other holes except for one. For a pipe that would be the bowl hole. Use that to dose your salt and EC or Iso and then cover the bowl with a thumb or palm and shake. Using the bowl hole also helps keep you from spilling salt and Iso/EC :). Once done, then rinse with hot water for a bit and you're done. Works for me :). Now for larger pieces of course you're going to have to use more salt and liquid, but should work for every type that I know of. :).
@@christopherjunkins Hi Christopher! I agree 100% about the iso and using the electrical tape. I really love people sharing their cleaning techniques so we can all benefit from everyones experience and knowledge. Hope you're having an awesome day! Sim
Intriguing. I've never heard of this before. Looks like it might actually work. My only concern would be if any residue was left in the pipe that stuff does not look ok to breath in. All the best! Sim
Hello! Depends on how dirty it is. Some people soak them overnight. If you clean your glass once a month it will only need a quick splash of Everclear to get clean. A little bit of maintenance goes a long way. All the best! Sim
I found a great way to clean a glass pipe. No Alcohol, No Baggie, No Everclear, No salt, No Vinegar, No Acetone. In fact, no dangerous and smelly chemicals that would annoy your companions what so ever. Environmentally safe. In fact it's so safe, you can drink it. I found it by complete accident.
@@FusingShop Believe it or not I had accidentally dropped my pipe in a glass of Rootbeer and placed it in the mini fridge near my computer desk over night. In the morning i washed out the glass in the sink and noticed the pipe and went to flush it out with water and noticed how the stream of water was pushing out the mess in one clump and put a paper towel down and blew out the rest from the mouthpiece and it all came out on the papertowel leaving it totally crystal clear clean and was shocked. true story.
@@FusingShop tbh I am just using single use small pipes cause I frankly firnd the whole process kinda disgusting and busy work. I used to do the zipbag thing with my bong, but it was too much hassle, so I just mostly rolly my jays these days hehe

Assuming you don’t mind the smell, and you own a kiln, I am guessing heating up to annealing temperature would cook off pretty much everything?
You can definitely burn stuff off. I've never tried it to clean my glass. Would definitely be an interesting experiment. All the best! Sim
Can I use rubbing alcohol instead of everclesr
Yes

Now drink the Everclear.😵💫

That wasn't a very dirty pipe. I wonder if that would work on a more tl robustly used pipe.
