2:33 this lad made a big mistake. He said "the Army air force" instead of the "the US air force". I don't know when this video was made, but considering that his rank appears to be a Staff Sergeant with the post-March 1948 insignia as shown in 2:36. I am pretty sure this is the US Air force. Not the Army air force.
@@chriscollazo7658 Yeah but as i stated, his rank insignia is clearly the post-March 1948 ranks. Granted, it wasn't until September 1947 that the USAF was founded but considering the Lawrence welk show did not start broadcasting until the 50s. This must be clearly the USAF.
